- Following the defection of the Dover and Deal MP Natalie Elphicke to Labour, Beth, Ruth and Jess discuss the surprise move and whether it could have been handled differently by Sir Keir Starmer.
They also talk about Beth's interview with the former immigration minister Robert Jenrick and his warnings about Reform UK.
Plus, how significant was the defeat of former Conservative mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street? Beth and Jess were both there to tell the story.
And they answer a question on Labour and the Muslim vote, and what the party can do to restore confidence and trust.

An election needs to be called and held now
Voting for a government is the same as choosing a toilet cubicle that stinks the least…
Jess was in a particularly sweary mood this podcast and I'm all for it 😀
THIS
Cast, is the Equivalent to my Uncle Albert thoughts on Relativity.
Out of this WORLD
Starmer will be embracing the politics of Enoch Powell next 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
No room sunak Mogg farage Anderson have taken all Lowell’s views already
They always mean "English culture".
Let's face it; we have form for suppressing culture at home and abroad that we don't like e.g. banning languages in Scotland, Ireland & Wales
Making fun of a serious male health issue...
Elphicke is ERG, the lowestof the low of Brexiteers.
BREAKING NEWS: Keir Starmer is a vegetarian. UK Farming is finished...
is that why pubs are screwed in UK?
6K listeners and just 23 comments. This podcast isn't much cop is it?
Half the listeners are here to laugh at what idiocy leftists are talking.
The reason Abbott is kept at arms length is because very few people outside her constituency and London actually like her. Starmer knows that she is likely to repeat one of her faux pas's at any time so is not going to take the risk. It's the same reason why Thornbury and Lammy will be quiet too - Thornbury's laughable attempt at trying to gain the 'football' vote with her England kit statements will just have made the country laugh - she cannot abide 'white van man' and she sees them as all Brexit voting right wing football hooligans.
Battled beleaguered bereft
Besieged.
In whose gut?
Notice the ex Tory got a meeting with Keir.
Rosie Duffield still hasn't got an apology.
I despise Labour and Keir and the ideology pandering.
I've unsubscribed so that hopefully I never have to look at the picture of these three ever again.
Has anyone ever listened to this? Just the sight of them makes it a hard pass.
Sky has over 7mil subscribers and they get about 10k views on a good video. So they get about one tenth of one percent of subscribers watching. Epic😂
Think it's in the top 20 for UK podcasts so that's not bad for a new podcast
@@storm21410 Good to know there's a market for identical corporate politicians from the uniparty gossiping and nagging.
@@1milliondogsBecause most people listen to it on the podcast app, who ‘watches’ podcasts? 😂
Red and blue Tories.
This is like watching paint dry
The three witches are spouting off again.
"The Gender Spectrum - from masculine to feminine:
Men / Queer Men / Non-binary / Trans-women / Women
Trans-women & women have different pelvic anatomy. Men & non-binary people also have different pelvic structures.
Discussions about gender identities must be taken seriously, as these definitions affect public spaces & others' lives. Pelvic qualities can be used to decide who can go to which bathroom or play in competitive sports.
Identities aren't just words. They have lasting & irreversible consequences to those who choose to transition. People under 21 shouldn't be able to make such radical changes to their bodies - which often require surgery."
Sociedad moderna necesita definiciones exactas de humanos 🌈
Rat Phillips hasn't got guts to punch, she's a vacuous career politician who truth be told would rather be in 'opposition' so she can carry on with her part time MP role and rake in second income via podcasts like this
That's rich considering the vacuous career politicians from the self-serving, fraudulent Tory party all seem to be on telly, mostly on Propaganda channel GBNews as their second, or even third jobs!
Boring!
