Barbock and Shinobi's Divorce and Pet Room Changes

- Hey everyone, sorry for the delay in posting videos. Life has been a little bit hectic around here. In this video I give you some updates on the piggies and show you some changes I had to make in the pet room to house Barbock and Shinobi. Enjoy!

I'm glad even though they had some problems in the beginning those two seem to get along really well! Boys can be so fickle! Hope the fur family is doing well :)

Love the new cage setup, i'm happy that the piggies are happy in their new cage, are you going to try to put them on floor time together later on to see how they like being with each other again :)

Awh it is a shame you had to split them up but it was for the best, and I think it is really good that they can still communicate :)
awww bless! i love their cage. do either of barbock/shinobi get on with ares/nimbus. maybe could do a little play date in the playpen? xx
The cages look great. Yo did what had to be done. It looks like they still have lots of space to run and play in. I do not know if this would work with pigs, but with my rabbits I use a wire paper tray for the hay rack. It is attached on one side with a couple of zip ties. It is then latched with a dog leash clip. It is VERY easy to change hay out and my animals have never had a problem with it. They can be found for around $4.
Aww:(. It's quite sad but I guess when you have four male guinea pigs, it would probably happen to one pair. But it's great that Barbock and Shinobi still have lovely big houses and aren't compromised in any way. They're probably even happier to have their own cages :). The set-up expanded looks amazing though - the storage cube makes it look like it was meant to be from the beginning
It really is too bad that Shinobi and Barbock can't be housed together but I do really like the new setup, especially the extra storage you now have! And at least they're able to see one another so they don't have to be sad. You never seem to have a problem with Nimbus and Ares, have they always gotten along so well?
Sorry to hear that you've had to split them up =( at least they are happier now. Could you try to do some more regular videos on Teazel? I love seeing her cute little hedgie face and also learning about her care x
Popcorning is when guinea pigs run around and jump (only about an inch, not very high) and they make happy noises, they do this when happy (:

You had to take necessary steps to do what is best for your pigs no one can fault you for that. The cages look great and they still have room to be pigs in their new cages. Do you think that eventually they will get over their squabble or with male Guinea Pigs is it more like permanent behavior?
Guessing teazel is sleeping lol. I was going to get a hedgie but there hard to find in Florida for some reason.and when I do, I find an adult. I also will be having two new additions, two female babie piggies.

So if guinea pigs are not with other guinea pig they get very stressed and sad.
Not true what so ever. I had a guinea pig who was perfectly happy without another piggie. I did try to give him a friend, but the other piggle would bully my late pig.
