Yeah,finally did the trick.However,not with the first try had to reinstall drivers restart my pc and when I removed sim tray even if it was empty it worked.

It worked one time, then I sold phone and customer updated again, this time it doesnt work. I went to Apple and they said phone has changed back glass and therefore we cant do anything. Is there another solution?

Thank you for posting this. I wasn't aware of 3uTools beforehand, and was able to use it to successfully get one iPad 4 that kept getting an 'Error (-1)' to finally get through the firmware reset process. However, I have another, identical iPad 4 that gets stuck at 80% / Baseband like the one you show in the video... I'm curious, how do you get the 3uTools software to attempt 'Updating baseband...' multiple times (as happens in your video)? Mine never makes it to the 'Savage' part; instead, it fails once and then crashes out completely:

15:05:07.350: ERROR: Unable to successfully restore device
15:05:27.852: Failed to restore device(-1)
If you have any other ideas to try before relegating this once previous device to the dustbin, let me know. Thanks!

Unfortunately this method does not work on iPhone 5, 5s - the update process can not skip or exclude upgrading BaseBandData firmware, when the chip does not accept firmware data. This results in 80% and failed update error on 3u tools Flash, no matter if the "Anti Recovery Flash" is ticked or not.
