Got redirected here from X-factor's video. Been looking for something like this for the longest time. I used to play flight sims and always wondered if air manoeuvres actually worked in BF3 piloting. Great to see that they do, and to be given such clear instructions and examples of how to pull them off. Keep up the good work, dude!
Finally I found you! Man, where have you been? I was looking for a channel with tipps and tricks for flying the jet. I'm looking forward to watch your other videos. :)) c ya
I guess some people have never heard an Indian accent before ;) Great videos man, as well narrated as they are demonstrated in your beasst mode flying. Thanks!
Hey dishy, I have watched several of your vids now and i like them, you make it easy to undestand when telling about maneuvers. I have flown for a while in BF3 now and really like it, would be awesome to fly with you or against you, i have still got alot to learn and flying with or against those better than one-self is a lesson in itself :) Thank you for the awesome Vids you have put up, it will help alot! Hallreaver (Also Tag in BF3)
-_- as i have explained in another of my comments.... when i am flying i know how my jet is reacting and if i feel my jet has lost a lot of speed i use my afterburner for less than even half a second to make up for the lost power.... its not always that shouldn't use the afterburner while going down...
so much for dodging missiles and looking like a boss doing it. XD How can you tell if a missile is about to hit? I mean I know there's the beeping but is there any way to tell if it's close? Or is it pretty much just wait a second or two, ECM and turn?
you have to know the map... then you have to assume where the missile came from.. mostly its from the end, so i use my ecm and turn towards the map rather than going towards the outside.... so which makes it come close to me even more faster :) just your instincts... that's all you need !
At least the mainstays work like the yo-yos and the split S. = ) Just a thought, any interesting manoeuvres for avoiding missiles? I know the ECM and break works, just wondering if there was anything more ... dramatic. Heh.
Whats up dishy. You have some pretty sick tactics that are used in the military and have been used since the first world war. You know exactly when to execute a certain maneuver and how to do it. I've been studying dogfights for almost a year now and id very much like to get some practice with you. PLEASE tell me your on Xbox?
Yeah I've been doing this since I first played Ace combat and just figured if was some bullshit I was doing while winging it [haha... winging it]. Didn't know it was a legit maneuver with a name. You could also do a very half assed version in star fox 64 [not quite as precise... but it still worked].
der are... but the success rate with them is about what.. 55% - 65% just go straight towards the missile.... it used to work 100% times before a bunch of patches.. but not anymore man ! so the best way is to use your ecm when the missile is about to hit you and turn into the missile :)
Air Superiority ?? this video is a tutorial bro... i think you commented under the wrong video.. and no... Air Superiority is a series that i have started where me and my friend get in the jets and own the sky's :D
double fins...beautiful! i love the idea of instable aerodynamics to enhance maeuverability! takes balls to design somthing like this! how long are you doing this? and how old are you? i dont even know you...
300-315... if u do the low or high yo-yo with speed lower or higher than that against a pro you will fall behind ur opponent nd add distance causing u 2 end up in the lag pursuit so u wnt be able 2 flush ur opponent out
well obviously... everything is easy to counter unless you yourself figure out how to counter his counter movements..... that is what its all about mate !
dude, chill out really... i know how my jet feels when i fly it... obviously no one can tell you how your jet will feel while you fly it... that's all it is... if i think i have lost a lot of speed, i'll accelerate to cover up that loss cheers
what ?? read carefully first... i said... i use the afterburner while pitching down sometimes for less than half a second if i have lost a lot of power earlier... so to make up for that lost power, i use the afterburner.... and dude, if you think you're good and you can beat me.. WELL... CONGRATS... YOU ARE AWESOME... YOU CAN BEAT ME... hope that makes you happy...
well, what can i say... :P i am fairly new here.. and if you can get the word out there... it'll be much appreciated and cheers man i hope my videos help you :D
you're into real life flying ? :) if so.. good to know a fellow mate :D and sadly.. i used to play on xbox... but not anymore man.... but if you still want to get in touch outside youtube... my fb page is in there and 98% interact with everyone on my page :) so feel free :D

By the way, your tips are very detailed but spot on and seem very useful dishy! Nice job!
Saw you on RivalXFactor's channel. Instant sub! Nice to find a channel with Jet Tutorials. I can use all the help I can get because I suck in jets!

Hallreaver (Also Tag in BF3)
thank you so much for the feedback mate... really appreciate
sadly, not all maneuvers work in bf3... like the cobra... & flat scissors.. !
-_-

Do you need. Map pack to get the game mode air supriorty
I find it hard to pull up and turn at the same time with the xbox controller, how do you do this?
so much for dodging missiles and looking like a boss doing it. XD
How can you tell if a missile is about to hit? I mean I know there's the beeping but is there any way to tell if it's close? Or is it pretty much just wait a second or two, ECM and turn?
So what's the equivalent of the space bar exploit on an Xbox controller?
i have tried cobra, but you can't do it in bf3 !
Question; when you pull the maneuver, do you maintain good corner speed the entire time? (300-315 km/h)
What airspeed do you maintain when executing this maneuvre?
you have to know the map... then you have to assume where the missile came from.. mostly its from the end, so i use my ecm and turn towards the map rather than going towards the outside.... so which makes it come close to me even more faster :)
just your instincts... that's all you need !
Wow! What jet do you fly or they assign to you, I guess?
At least the mainstays work like the yo-yos and the split S. = )
Just a thought, any interesting manoeuvres for avoiding missiles? I know the ECM and break works, just wondering if there was anything more ... dramatic. Heh.

I've done this so many times without realizing it was a legit maneuver! lol
Ain't this a bit easy to counter if flying against a decent pilot?
Yeah same as Scabbard56 here :)
You're gettin me hooked into the jet flying :D
What was it? Please tell me, what was it!!??
Another great tutorial Dishy! :D
don't push your stick all the way towards one side... nor fully downwards... keep it somewhere between the side and the bottom :)
hey buddy! well done again...where do you take all the maneuvers from? are these working irl? cheers!
Yeah I've been doing this since I first played Ace combat and just figured if was some bullshit I was doing while winging it [haha... winging it]. Didn't know it was a legit maneuver with a name.
You could also do a very half assed version in star fox 64 [not quite as precise... but it still worked].
How many buttons and switches are in the cockpit? Just curious :3
der are... but the success rate with them is about what.. 55% - 65%
just go straight towards the missile.... it used to work 100% times before a bunch of patches.. but not anymore man !

Air Superiority ??
this video is a tutorial bro... i think you commented under the wrong video.. and no... Air Superiority is a series that i have started where me and my friend get in the jets and own the sky's :D

Were you not playing with xfactor on PC?
double fins...beautiful! i love the idea of instable aerodynamics to enhance maeuverability! takes balls to design somthing like this! how long are you doing this? and how old are you? i dont even know you...

Su 30 mki?
recomended speed?
300-315... if u do the low or high yo-yo with speed lower or higher than that against a pro you will fall behind ur opponent nd add distance causing u 2 end up in the lag pursuit so u wnt be able 2 flush ur opponent out
Nice tutorial again!!!
wow! tell me more about it! army?
buddy, you have all these jets in the game itself
do you use a controller or mouse and keyboard?
why do you use 3rd person view?
Wider view of the surroundings. It gives better situational awareness.
I've been doing the high yo yo, but I never knew it was an actuall manoeuvre
Is this console or PC?
