I went into this not liking the kid for some odd reason then love him after his classy and respectfulness. He just became one of my favorite fighters in less than 2 mins.
Not sure why you felt that way Larry, because the moment I saw him fight, I knew he was a future pound for pounder! He looks to be better than Oscar De La Hoya ever was. I always thought Oscar was awkward, not very smooth. Ryan Garcia on the other hand has blinding fast punches that come in at weird angles, with tremendous power. In addition he doubles up on many of his punches and throws an incredible jab/hook...call it a jook!

The opponent never learned his mistake. I had to replay how garcia caught him on low when he was about to attack to see if it was accuracy and speed and it really was. Garcia is seriously a real fighter. His speed is way faster than his opponent and his punches packs power. When his opponent was about to do a low punch, Garcia's fist already meets his opponents face. Talk about speed and on the third time, the opponent got put down.

@LElion 1624 I was gonna say, I wasn't a fan of Ryan a few years ago when his dad was with him everywhere and but he was still a teenager, I'm envious of him getting to work with Canelo and eddy reynoso and it shows inside the ring and out. So much young talent at 35-40 and 47 going to be making the big fights over the next couple years, future of boxing looking amazing!
It is rumored that a long time ago Canelo killed someone in sparring. Since than he always prays when he wins by KO, as he progressed he didnt even like celebrating KOs until his opponents got back up.
