Just commenting as a white bruddah from Toronto. Growing up, my best friends have always been of darker skin colour. I always enjoyed staying at their homes, always made me feel welcome and like I was apart of the family and embraced me into their culture. I’ve always been shown so much kindness by people of colour, and because of this I’ve always felt so strongly for your kind. Ive always spoken up, and done what I could and always try to encourage others to do so as well. Were all human after all. No white, black, yellow, red etc races. Its one race. The human race. And we should all raise eachother up and progress as a race. Otherwise we wouldnt have so many of the problems we do in the world. And this whole BLM movement has really moved me. We dont need to be black to be with you. Were human, and thats enough. One love. I’ll keep doing my part. And keep defending my people. As long as youre human, you belong.
Some people refer to diversity as an infection, but in my eyes black is the most beautiful out of all the colours because it requires the combinations between every other colour, to be made.

alot of the time it's not about skin colour, I'm white and I've been arrested 2 times for nothing with one of those time being because I was outside at 2 am after the curfew, the result was 6 hours at the station with my whole face in blood cause I was "resisting" while I wasn't. there was 1 white officer and the other was black. I also got alot of racist remarks since I grew up in a city where most people were immigrating and I was the minority. in my opinion racism in general is only as big because people are using that word commonly on a weekly basis. I just think that there should be mental and personality examinations before being employed as something as important as police officers or anything with great responsabilities.
