Finally I found this. I was pretty young when I played this. I thought it was a fever dream memory. This boss was awesome, very innovative fight when you think about the time it was made. Back then there were Power Rangers games and they didn't even do it like this. I remember I had to start over to fight that boss again. I never could finish this game.
This was low key one of my all time favorite videogames. I must've been 12 or 13 when I played it, back when I'd sneak up at night to play videogames all night. This game in particular played a significant role in how I turned out as a human being and nobody really understands - I've never met a single person who has played it. I used to tell people, "It's like Zelda, but way better..." Nobody listened to me and it's truly their loss.
I used to play this game when I was 11 years old. Couldn’t read English back then so I had to rely on these « solutions » booklet widely sold in shops at the time to finish the game.
I remember playing this as a kid and being completely confused what was going on in a game that was kind of a platformer rpg suddenly giving you a mecha lol
I've always loved how he wants revenge for blowing up the Wise Man's house. But then the first thing he does is rampage through countless houses and bridges. lol
I wish they would make a new one of these for the switch I love this game so much I’ve been playing it since I was 13 and recently had to buy a new copy of it for the 64 and whew it is expensive 70 bucks for cart only 300 if you want it with the box and manual still worth it a highly underrated game one of the best ever on the 64 up there with ocarina of time. Zelda is just a little bit better but goemon. Is so amazing just love it.
Yeah, something they actually fixed in Goemon's Great Adventure was that they gave a short command list you could see by pausing showing the inputs for Impact's special attacks during the fights.

This game is so aggressively japanese, it's amazing
let's casually put an anime opening in the mid of our game....
everyone like that....
Not just an anime opening, a mecha opening sung by Ichiro Mizuki
This game is so legendary! Bring it back!!
I love it when you fail to jump over obstacles lol
yes because it accurately remember our first run when kids.
One of the best n64 games 😁😁😁😁
They need to bring this game back
I love how, angry at the injustice of the destruction of the wise man's home, Goemon proceeds to enter a giant robot and destroy like 4 villages 😂
And just to find out later in the game all was Sasuke's fault.
I remember playing this as a kid and being completely confused what was going on in a game that was kind of a platformer rpg suddenly giving you a mecha lol
Impact needs to be in a Super Robot Wars installment
With that same opening as well. It is a definite must
This is such a good boss fight.
I live how you could do that multiple punch thing. Love it.
It's a reference from Fist of the North Star.
As a fan of mazinga z it was a joy to play this as a kid
My quarantine has taken me down a weird road
And that road led to the greatest game ever released for the N64.
I love how when he’s falling into the robot it’s like he’s going through some large tunnel that is 20x longer than the actual robot 😂
Just to end up visible from his eyes 💀
I've always loved how he wants revenge for blowing up the Wise Man's house. But then the first thing he does is rampage through countless houses and bridges. lol
Actual hardware. Props!
Japan is weird. But kinda awesome

La nostalgia man, la nostalgia men.......
Wait the fuck impact shot a fucking laser beam wtf! I never knew that when I played this many years ago. Shit wish I knew that.
it was actually explained in the manual haha
@ryderinblack I know he shot coins but not this. Wow.

this game could seriously use a remaster and a relaunch in multiple platforms!
I need to play this again, there is a lot of stuff I didn't know you could do in this fights.
I tried to showcase as many moves as I could!
9:00 the face of no mercy.
This reminds me of the megazord
When I first played this game I thought this game was pretty weird.
Me vs sydney couch again
*_OKAMAAAAA!_*
Poor citizens
1:35 1:36
me vs sydeny couch
I remember that Dash! Dash! Dash! music part and as a painfully normal white American kid being like "wtf what THAT shit?"
I felt the same way 😊

I really hope you learned how to do these fights a bit better over the years. -_-
