Strapping the tires seems like the way to go. The old chain down trailers were kind of notorious for bending cars. I remember a friend ordering a T-Bird in the late 80's and it showed up at the dealer so warped that they had to total it out.
i used to work in the trucking industry and the last spot i worked at was for cars. it was a giant train yard and all that was there was cars. i saw this in real life a bit. honestly, it's still trucking but it's better than running cargo. way better.
This is awesome Im looking to move from dually to semi Very interesting. Which model is that trailer? And those trailers look really easy to load and unload Thank you!
There is no part 1, and I noticed you commented back on someone else's comment saying where part 1 is located but that isn't an option for mobile users, there is no way find part 1, it shows up nowhere. I have noticed your videos start to disappear in the past, just a heads up
+joker432 There is a link in the description now. Also, mobile users can use Cards. It's the "i" symbol in the top right corner. If you click it, it will show linked videos.
+The Fast Lane Truck I see my confusion! I remember the F-350 or 450 transporter video, I just didn't realize that was the part 1 to this video, it all makes sense, sorry on my part, thanks
open carrier like this dont you guys have problems with rocks and pepples hitting the side of the cars when you drive thru snow and slush, or behind some trailer that has alot of dust and rocks flying back?
Can't understand why he would downsize from a 450 DRW to a 350 single axle after he had weight related problems with the duelly. if he moved down from 3 cars to 2 on the trailer, maybe,.. but I like to have a little headroom in the weight capacity category.
goldenboyNJ cassens transport is one and from what i here they pay good and they have contracts with manufacturers and they are union id give them a call
Video jumped around too much and didn't really explain much. Using wheel straps instead of frame chains can lead to roof damage of cars on the lower deck if there isn't enough clearance left for the car to bounce on the road.
Looks like he went to a dual axle 2 car trailer to pull under 26k lbs and get away from the IRP/IFTA stuff. I think he still has to keep an electronic log book, but cheaper insurance, less maintenance, better mpg, and just plain easier. Tough to make good money with either set up really.
It's not,you either have to have a really good in to have a good contract or scrap it out with guys running loads for the price of fuel.........The best way to make money in this is with 3 dually trucks,3 illegals driving them and hope you dont get sued because most likely your insurance is going to drop you like a bad habit at some point. Its tough,we are in towing and recovery and branched out for a customer of ours and did well till he went bankrupt. After that it just wasnt worth the headaches and was costing us money.Although if you dont take my warning and want to pull with a dually,do yourself the favor and by a nice Kaufman trailer new.
well, don't come to new york city, cause the f@cking italians run this great business/market into the FN ground. in fact if you are not part of their illiterate, loud mouth crew, forget about getting any good contracts.
You guys should do alot more of these videos!

+1guyin10 Damn
Must of had the Hulk tightening down the winches. it takes a lot to warp a frame.
be nice if you just listened to the guy inside instead of saying.. yah..ok..uh huh lol

I would love to work in this kind of business! Looks very profitable.

ford trucks dont hold up towing......
There are a lot of Fords on the road transporting. Dodge has had a lot of problems with transmissions and rear ends going out when used for towing.
Too many information
