She's really ahead of her peers as far as how dope and unique her music is. Sonically speaking, there is not much out there that sounds like her. The sound effects are well placed and add so much to the song. The bass that kicks in toward the end and the drums are ill. Lorde is just in another plane of existence

This is probably the best song of Melodrama, (just before Sober II, Homemade Dynamite and Perfect Places for me) and perhaps one of her greatest songs. This is not what people are accustomed to hear those days, and this is what makes Lorde being so special. Love her since 2013 and I won't ever stop support her. This whole album just illustrates my life from 16-19 when I was drowning in alcohol and drugs. It’s so perfect and beautiful and depressing at the same time.
I feel like I grew with Lorde & it's all shown with both Pure Heroine & Melodrama. when Pure Heroine came out I was going through some of the darkest & hardest times of my life. In a very clever way Pure Heroine represented that. It was a more dark tragical sound. With this album I'm getting more of a uplifting lighter tone. Which is exactly where I'm at in my life right now. Having fun going out partying. I grew up through both albums just like Ella did. It's so beautiful to me. 💙✨ I'm so ready for this album.

This is probably the best song of Melodrama, (just before Sober II, Homemade Dynamite and Perfect Places for me) and perhaps one of her greatest songs. This is not what people are accustomed to hear those days, and this is what makes Lorde being so special. Love her since 2013 and I won't ever stop support her.

I feel like I grew with Lorde & it's all shown with both Pure Heroine & Melodrama. when Pure Heroine came out I was going through some of the darkest & hardest times of my life. In a very clever way Pure Heroine represented that. It was a more dark tragical sound. With this album I'm getting more of a uplifting lighter tone. Which is exactly where I'm at in my life right now. Having fun going out partying. I grew up through both albums just like Ella did. It's so beautiful to me. 💙✨ I'm so ready for this album.

I'm a 40+ man & I think this young girl's music is absolutely amazing. I'm not some crazy obsessive fan..Madonna was my bitch growing up, I adored her (seen her live).. but that was then. I waited for this album...thinking there's no way she's gonna top the brilliant first album & I'm glad to say she has proved me/us all wrong. The future of music is Lorde. She is exceptional. Her songwriting, the arrangements of the tracks it's like a new era has dawned. I know her music is all down to team effort also, so well done to all involved in the making/creating of Lorde.
