iam sudanese -from gezira state - really i like SPLA epic struggle for freedom . South sudanses people give all including us a lesson how to be strong faithfull and fighter for you rights . Long live SPLA ,prosperity for our brothers sudanese in south .
Both Sudan and South Sudan have the similar military song I'm from Sudan and I heard that in the TV when the military ousted Bashir couple of days ago I love both Sudan's ❤❤❤🇸🇸🇸🇩
@@radiahmed126 let's work for greater good. there is nothing wrong with either of the two using the songs. remember it was politics that created separation not songs. music is universal.
I think this march is called "Shulkawy" it's a famous song in South Sudan for the "Shuluk" Tribe , I listened to it in Malakal in the late Seventies, I'm a North Sudanese, but really half of my heart is in the beloved South Sudan
This song is about the memories of the battle of Kereri (or battle of Umdurman if you like) fought on the 2nd of September 1898 between the British and the Egyptians on one side and the then rulers of the Sudan, the Mahdists, on the other side. In that battle, many Sudanese under the Mahdists perished. That is why you hear in the song the lines katlna fi Kereri (they killed us in Kereri). South Sudan just adopted some of the songs of the then United Sudan, because Garang's vision then was a united Sudan where people are united in diversity.
Actually most of the songs are south Sudanese adopted by north Sudanese when we were one people like their is a song here usually used by north Sudanese while it is even not a revolutionary song it sing about the birth of Jesus Christ in dinka language but cause it is beautiful with music the north Sudanese still to this day play it while they don't know they are praising Jesus Christ
Michael,aa be curful, What sad the Song it Belang to us all We,sudan, E,sudan, Nr,sudan South sudan Rapabilk, fulstop, Sila Musik was mony southrner Walking on it, Those fertiging in kereri mony Dinka was kil and in mony fedels, dont TALK about Adopters fulsop
Mohamed Abubarkr, that song was sang when south and north used to be one. it is not also bad when brothers learn from one another. all corners of Sudan during ancient time used to be connected through Nilo-sahara language and culture.

That war of the then, was fought by both Sudanese. Henceforth South Sudanese have rights too. Do not be stingy even something that is for all.
