Oh right, Saga Legends. I remember I got the 8 of the 501st and 8 "normal". It was the first time I "army builded" on Star Wars Troopers. I gotta agree even to this day that was an amazing mold. Like the only complaint would be their hands coming off the joints at times.
I had a battle front 2 “ exclusive “ figure I don’t know if it’s the same as the battle damaged one at 3:58 but there’s a chance he had normal arms, I got him at a rare collectibles store

I like how the battlefront figure has a ammo pouch on the arm. It makes him look more tactical
I got the saga legends 501st and that clone from saga legends with the gray shoulders, belt and lower legs ( don't know the name) as my first Star Wars figures and you can see the fading on the 501st colors bc of the use, truly my most sentimental and favorite figures ever

I agree with you about the oversized helmet. I think would the body be in so thinned out like that it makes it look a lot bigger which it is but more bigger than it needs to. It's like they accidentally broke the mold for the originals and said let's use clone wars body types and passed them off as the vintage collection. The add those are my least favorite figures

Good thing you said "can", cuz usually with those bad figures, I try my best not to get them. I did a worst clones video, and a lotta people got mad cuz "OMG NUMBER 3 IS GREAT YOU'RE A DUMBASS!".

I agree so much with you on TVC version I actually got it cuz people said it's the best version 4 days later I traded it for 2 saga legends 2010 troopers.
Yay! You did it! Excellent work man, I only have the TVC 501st tho mainly due to personal preference (I really like that sculpt for some reason) I also think he has the best paint apps and don't really mind the helmet- but seeing all the other ones was really cool and I may get some of them.
I have the tactical ops trooper from the Revenge of the Sith line. That has the 501st design. By the way, 501st is my second favorite clone design behind ROTS Commander Gree.
There's also the Phase II 501st Legion Jetpack Trooper in the art style of Star Wars: The Clone Wars from the green Yoda-themed packaging sold internationally by Hasbro...
There is, and I have it, but it's technically not a normal 501st trooper, it's a jetpack trooper.

Yo a day ago I found a great deal it was the mail away captain Rex without helmet unfortunately and a phase 1 501st trooper so that’s a pretty good deal to me
I have the at-rt driver one but without the dirst on the legs I dont know if its a variation or a miss print because I cant find it any where else
That figure had many releases, it actually came out first in the ROTS line (under the name tactical ops trooper, probably the name used during the film’s production).
As mentioned in this video it would get rereleased in the saga collection in 2006 with the name changed to 501st. Then when the 30th anniversary line came around it was rereleased again (now without the dirt, so if I had to guess that’s probably the one you have).
Umm you forgot one it is the metal figure if you want to count it and also the phase 1 clone pilot from the 501st gunship transport

This is just the plain troopers, no named characters like you stated, and no specialized troopers (like ARF, Airborne, Jet trooper, etc.)

The trooper with the outwards at the legs but with swivel arms I got for my birthday when I was really young for whatever reason my friend was telling me it was call the emperor clone, it was the first colored armoed clone I ever got pretty cool needless to say though he fell apart I was rough on toys

I recently started collecting phase II clone troopers, but I can't really seem to find any 501st Clone Troopers, which sucks. I really want to have some 501st clones to back up my Anakin Skywalker action figure. I do have Captain Rex, though.

Hey, love the channel. I’m trying to build my clone collection and always use your videos for your definitive choices for each figure. I’m looking to add a 501st Legion Trooper and you really like the Sage Legends (I think from the 30th Anniversary collection) version. My question is how can I tell by the packaging which one is the super articulated body? I’m using Jedi Business as a reference but they don’t have images of the figures in their packaging. Any help would be greatly appreciated

man, this is an amazing video, the 501st Legion trooper was my first clone trooper ever, but I lose the helmet, and the arms. I'm planning to make a custom of it. I dunno why I am collecting now the troopers from the 212th Legion, they are very cool, but the 501st are the best ones in my opinion. Again, great video dude. Take care

I didn't mind No neck one because I have the 212th Version and I didn't mind it at first because I only cared for the Love Of the 212th I really wanted him so I got him and I took no notice of it y'know and I didn't pay attention to the no neck so I just played with it as it was whether it was accurate or not.

Surprisingly I own the 212th clone trooper from the mission series based on the Shock trooper model and it's ok and I also own the TVC 212th clone trooper and it's not that bad as you think.

Yeah those are just minor variations of ones I already showed, I'm not too concerned that I didn't show them. Even though the 30th Anniversary clean feet version is certainly interesting, I should probably track that one down.
Jcc2224 yeah It's the same but with clean feet and nicer white plastic. And when I said variant for the dirty I meant that there were 2 different releases both had the dirty feet but completely different weathering but still the same mold

I know there's some people out there who prefer Phase I clones, but Phase II clone armor is certainly my preferred clone design. However, figure wise, Phase I Clone Wars animated figures are the best.

Hello Jcc - this isn't pertinent to this video - well it somewhat is, but I have a question as I just dug out my Saga Legends collections and am confused about one thing - is it or is it not the same character - meaning is the Saga Legends 501st Clone Trooper 1 (actually called 501st Legion Trooper) the same darn character in Saga Legends 2008 501st Clone Trooper II? I need either or for my collection and I can't seem to find any information on whether these were different or the same action figure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
