Had some big hits under that tree on your right over beds of bait also as far as I could chuck to middle from big gravels which I think is second peg to your left .Used to fish from there to tree for leverage as fish used to get snagged fishing from that peg your on which were classed as float angler pegs they also cut next pegs off if you went long .Used to do 3 weeks a year there before new money mad owners took it over .They were claiming lodges were done up and 5 star our regular lodge had same old furniture and mouldy old bathroom they did virtually nothing place was filthy .They chopped trees down and opened it up not only was it not the same place but they were letting idiots on partying in their lodges with rods out .Many a time I used to be only one on the lake .I didn't even get the rods out last time disgusted at how many unattended rods were out it was like a circus .However there used to be a good head of fish in there wouldn't be surprised if many have been lost to tethering as well as the otters which have been on .Most of my fish came late at night or early morning .Once had 8 20s several doubles and a 30all at night and the guy next to me blanked all week put a review on saying it was rubbish .He only fished every teatime till midnight but the penny didn't drop .Something else the owners did was double the price after putting hotubs in .Syndicate members were great would be surprised if many had left with what they have done to the place
I've fished that lake exactly where you are and on the same peg. Never had a bite and even the local guys never caught for a full week
