Kirby is one of those kinds of franchises that hardly ever disappoints when it comes to its music. Marx, Zero Two, CROWNED, Masked Dedede's Revenge, Dirty and Beauty, Star Dream Soul, Hyness Unmasked, All of Void Termina's songs, Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit, and the new Mistilteinn, Tree Crown without a Ruler are all some of the greatest boss themes in video game history!

Gotta say: that new version of Magolor Soul is pretty insane. I never expected a second phase to be added. Like, Magolor's eyes are removed entirely, with what remains is the center eye taking over. Plus, the facted you can hear Magolor crying for help during the second phase is pretty cool but also heartbreaking too. This really does show that the Master Crown has fully cosumed Magolor. And to make things worse, once you've defeat Magolor Soul, the Master Crown doesn't break this time, showing that Magolor is forever trapped within the Master Crown's grasp.
1:50:21 The memories are so vivid here, being a huge dark matter fan, I remember playing dreamland 2 when I was a little child (I turn 18 in September) and it grew on me massively. So when I played robobot for the first time I was just playing the game all the time, because at the time I was homeschooled. So of course I went for the true arena, and I was pretty focused so I wouldn't perish. And of course i wasn't paying attention to anything else So came the biggest surprise of my life, the literal moment I heard the music and immediately saw the form of dark matter swordsman, there was the BIGGEST goofiest smile on my face as I immediately gasped and all you could hear from the hallway is *"OH MY GAWD DARK MATTEEER!* Which instantly broke my focus and almost died because I was vibing along to the theme 😂 because that was one of the most sudden surprises of my life in the kirby fandom
The beat drops as hard as his HP bar does in the regular fight.. it was an instant sell for me when I first saw it. Hes instantly become one of my favorite characters of the series based of that alone and how much he stands out.. that and how much he reminds me of Zant.
You got some of the most obscure boss themes I cant find anywhere.. easily one of the greatest collections of Kirby Final Boss themes on UA-cam. Next iteration should definitely include each Morpho Knight theme from SA, and.. whatever else the future holds for Kirby and his friends!
It's wild that Landia starts less than an hour into the video, and for the next 3 hours it's all modern Kirby. Since Return to Dream Land, songs are much longer on average, there are way more fights in the final boss gauntlet instead of just one or two, and there are a lot more spinoffs in between major releases.
That feeling you get when you hear a minor key, 3/4 version of 8-bit Green Greens--the first thing you hear in a Kirby game--at the end of the loop for the theme of the final phase of the final boss of the final challenge of the final 2D Kirby--the last thing you hear in a 2D Kirby game.
Thank you for updating the video! Now there's even more goodness to listen to :D (Also nice to see that most of the accompanying images have received an update!)
I really love lots of them (planet robobot, rainbow course, star allies, forgotten land) but i still believe that the best one is magolor soul from return to dreamland (original). Its just epic, iconic and overall awesome in my opinion.Truly a legendary track for the kirby series and gaming in general

My Top 10s! (From what I played from.) 10. Team DDD! (1:41:29) - As much I love the song, it really doesn't hold up well but I catch myself "doo"-ing it sometimes. 9. Nightmare Orb! (00:57 / 24:43) - I like the song, however it doesn't really have a "melody" to it. 8. Dark Mind, Phase 5! (30:13) - I, once again, like this song, but like Team DDD, it doesn't hold up very well. 7. Yin-Yarn (44:45) - I love this music as it holds a special place for my heart, but after I listened to another bosses song, It doesn't hold up very well. 6. Parallel Nightmare (3:25:37) - As much I like the epicness and symphony on that, It doesn't really catches my mood. 5. Marx / Marx Soul ( 10:25 / 42:32 ) - I love the melody placement in here so much, It's just so special to me. 4. Magolor Soul (1:07:43) - It's remind me of Nightmare's Theme, which I adore so much. 3. Nightmare Wizard ( 1:33 / 25:12 ) - I think the reason why this is 3rd place is because not only I like the boss' design but I really love the music it brings into it, especially KSA's Remix of it. 2. Void (3:11:03) - The reason why this is 2nd is because.. well, it's has that "Rebirth"-type of feeling, like we have gone full circle and that. 1. Aeon Hero (3:29:52) - Rock with a little smidge of Orchesta? Count me in, I love those type of music, I think Galacta Knight's design is what hooked me in the music too!
1:12:31 you got to admit *Supreme Ruler’s Coronation- Overlord* Goes hard for a Kirby final boss theme especially for the fight with Magolor soul in The True Arena
RTDL Deluxe came out,and with its release I can't help but smile, thinking about when I started my journey as a Kirby fans back in 2011: Charming worlds and characters, outstanding music, interesting lore, great gameplay, and very talented developers who are passionate about this series; so many elements make Kirby as great as it is,but the thing I will always love the most, and IMO defines what this series is all about,is how much it manages to shatter everyone's expectations, and this is perfectly represented by the Final Bosses: Every time it feels like they went all out, they always manage to go even further and impress you even more, and when a series manages to be distinctive,THAT'S where you know it's worth checking out It is just so fascinating to see just how far Kirby has come throughout the years and how far it will in the future, and it's stuff like this that will always make me come back to these games But for now, let's just jam to these masterpieces!
Not gonna lie, Void Termina’s theme is amazing! It just hits different, y’know! The instrumental feels like its divided between two armies, one of the stars, and one of the darkness. The Heart phase is funky, the Soul phase is so heroic, and the finale feels so climatic!
Two theme titles I made for Kirby Star Allies final bosses: 3:01:39 - Void Matter Soul: Twinkle☆Traveler (Reprise) 3:06:12 - The Three Mage Sisters: The Retaliators' True Might So thats my titles for those themes xD
@@davidthemusicman1046 I thiiink Masked Dedede’s Revenge, but I’m gonna listen to ALL of these to make sure Yin Yarn’s phase 1 theme is also really good
@@just_the_g.o.a.t189no, void termina is supposedly equal to Kirby. After all, Kirby is just a reincarnation, though void acknowledged Kirby is his true replacement upon his defeat.
I wonder how many people come to Return to Dreamland Deluxe not knowing that that version of CROWNED is from Star Allies? Just in case, if you're one of those people, that version is called "Supreme Ruler's Coronation ~OVERLORD~" to which Deluxe didn't change the name either, despite the one in Deluxe adding Magolor's voice effects in the song.
Queen sectonia’s music just hits at the right spot. Its incredible how such a beautiful- yet tragic event could be captured perfectly in triple deluxe’s music. Triple deluxe hands down has one of the best osts in the kirby series, forgotten land and canvas curse being pretty close to that ranking.
Why are the Rainbow Curse boss music tracks so calm? Compared to most of the other ones, which contain a lot of loud sounds and drum sounds and whatnot, these are pretty slow paced.
I know im pretty late to this but this is awesome. Its really surprising how a game franchise about a pink puffball manages to make some the best final boss themes I have ever heard.
@@davidthemusicman1046 dude void is probably the best example for this. The fast and intense music transitioning into a slow and intrusive melody, MAN WHY IS THIS FRANCHISE SO FREAKING GOOD!!!!
@WERN-ws7fk Void is up there as my top 5 favorite in the series and can see why they went all out to make a fantastic final boss theme and felt like the perfect end to the series (assuming that because forgotten land came out)
create a version of all Wispy woods bosses and the finall boss is ! 4:08:46 The Master Crown How curious that all the initial bosses are a tree and in the version of the epilogue of Megalor the end is a crowned dark tree..
wispy always (with maybe a spin off as an exception) uses the normal boss theme with master crown being the only one with a theme to its own maybe a compilation of boss fights but with music it wouldnt really work
After some maths. I take how long every dedede theme is (2224 seconds) , divided by how long is the whole video (4*3600 + 16*60 + 12), I obtain approximately 0.144 which means 14. 4 % of the video is just dedede.
just a question, wouldn’t the theme used for Magolor Soul specially in his true arena battle be a final boss theme? and yes, that version does use a different theme.
Problem was telling the difference between the original and deluxe version which is why I didn't add that and only include the true arena version maybe it's different I don't know.
@@davidthemusicman1046 yeah I mean The first game I ever play was kirby's epic yarn, and since then I follow the the series even in this times. I simply... Love kirby. And I want my little cute pink ball grow with me :3

@Oroma512 I do hope you get a chance to play forgotten land because that game is so fun and even replaying it was a blast because of that game I Emulated most of the handheld games and enjoyed them except Amazing Mirror & Squeak Squad
Kirby, Kirby, Kirby, the name you should know. I don't have any personal feelings towards the series bit I respect the creators for keeping it good for that long. Even the worse titles like Squeak Squad and the weird Canvas Curse were fun (even if the ladder felt more like a fever dream). I didn't play all of them, but I did play all the standard ones and I will try out Mass Attack once I have the time. But to give opinions in the final bosses Dreamland 1 - fun but not hard, just like the games (for the most part) Nightmare in dreamland/Adventure - WOW Second game in the series and already turning from silly fat penguin to eldrich horror. Too bad that this one is firstly a bit worse Kabula and then easier than Dark Nebula. Refight with King DeDeDe is pretty good, with a preference for the GBA version with the gourmet race remix Dreamland 2 - While the boss is extremly cheesable, it is a good fight if you actually fight it. Dreamland 3 - Dark matter was a meh and 0 was.... Definitely something. ,,A moon with an eye? How is that sca- IS THAT BLOOD?!" (Literally my words during the first time i fought him) Crystal shards - Miracle matter is an amazing concept and fight, but it can drag out at times. 02 on the other hand is where the memes start. The fight is suprisingly basic with literally just 2 attacks, if not 1 and the theme is both fitting and out of place at the same time, like if it expects to die Super Star/SS Ultra King DDD - same as in Dreamland1 Dyna Blade - Doesn't really feel like a final boss, more like a regular one. The fight aint thst great for me either Wham Bam Rock - Just like Dyna not much of a final boss feel, but the fight is at least better and can actually be difficult. Albeit his design was awful in the SNES version. Like seriously, WTF was that face Meta Knight - the first kirby boss that kicked my ass. Only beaten by his Forgotten land version, I love all of his fights becouse of how different they are from the rest. This one specifically changes the game from a platformer to a fighting game. Marx - not as impactful in the story as a certain blue mage and the fight can be over in seconds due to how slow the guy actually attacks. Maybe I would like him a bit more if he didn't do just 2 attacks before I killed him... Both times. Masked DeDeDe - While not having the same impact as Meta Knight, Its still a great and actually difficult fight. Pretty much shows how pengu isn't messing around this time. And the music is in TF2 Spy's words ,,PERFECT". Galacta Knight - As Meta Knight its a great fight. As Kirby... Lets just say its one of 2 reasons I dont exacly like the True Arena in Super Star Ultra. Props for making him different and not just an EX Meta knight. (the other being Kracko's revenge) Wham Bam Jewel - This one feels kind random. Its not a bad fight but it feels like they made it on the last minute to make helper to hero more unique. Marx Soul - pretty much took what worked with Marx and made what didn't work, actually work. In short, the fight wont last just few a seconds. It also gave the groundwork for future soul fight with his moveset Amazing Mirror - A semi rematch with nightmare and 0 (or at least their mirror world versions[I guess]) fixing the issues with the former as he actually attacks now. Phase 2 is, again, difficult with Dark Minds suprising speed, but yet again, fun. (TOO BAD I LOST COUNT ON HOW MANY TIMES I FOUGHT PHASE 1 IN A ROW) Canvas Curse - A cool idea with phase 1. The fight feels uniqe with the whole painter motive and its used well in the fight. As for phase 2.... If Marx Soul gave ground work for the moveset, then Drawcia's souls gave the groundwork for the design being something simple. (Usually an orb) Too bad the game didn't leave that good of an impression. Really gotta see at least Mass Attack and Epic Yarn Squeak Squad - Dark Daroach is like Marx Soul, with the difference being that normal Daroach actually worked on his own. Dark Nebula on the other hand... Was that really a final boss, or did they just get lazy? With both the fight and the design. At the same time Squeak squad does feel kinda rushed so that would explain it. Return to Dreamland/Deluxe Magolor - the only final boss in the modetn era to not use anything from Drawcia or Marx. His upgraded form in Deluxe is also either a massive coincidence, or shows that someone saw the modding scene for the original and decided ,, yeah unfair Magalor is a cool mod... Lets make our version" (Also, this motherfuc&$+ is the sole reasons why I'm ready to shoot any character in any game that is weirdly friendly. I have LARGE trust issues becouse of him) Master Crown - Why the hell do they look at the bible as an instruction for future bosses? If it brings us bosses like that then I'm up for it but its still kinda weird Triple Deluxe Masked DDD - I prefer the original due to it being an actual rival fight and not the big oaf being braineashed again but this one is also good. The suprise phase 2 did catch me off guard though. Sectonia - on first impression she felt like a stereotypical b&-$ queen with a LOT of power, it was satifying to put her down. But after learning the lore... Damn... She got screwed over. Not as much as Haltmann but still. As for the fight, my only nit pick is that the 3rd phase of the soul its literally just Marx soul again with a few new attacks. Dark DDD and Mirror Knight- Dark DDD is there, I guess. Kinda felt like he is ther for the sake of a mirror fight. Mirror knight on fhe other hand went from a Meta knight clone to his own fight while still resembling the totally not the same species as kirby knight. Planet Robobot Mecha Knight 2.0 - this one is not exacly all that memorable. The design is just goofy, especially when the claw shows up and the fight is kinda forgettable. Albeit King DDD would probably say ,,First time" after the whole ordeal. Haltmann - I know planet robobot is dark from the get go, with the first boss of the game possibly being a mechanized and brainwashed whispy woods, bur man I feel bad for this guy. The twist is also kinda foreshadowed with his fight being similiar to Susies yet also different at the same time. Star Dream - On 1 hand fighting a galactic nova was cool, but the funny thing is that during phase 3 both me and EVEN MY DAD were checking if we weren't high when we saw what was on the screen. Sadly the last phase in the OS fight is just another Marx/Drawcia soul clone. Star allies Hyness - we go from emposing figure to, whatever that guy is. Kinda cool how he uses the friend abilites against you. The fight has a weird progression however, from slow and relatively easy to dodge to what could generously be called a mountain high spasticfu&$ Void - just perfection. Music, lore, design, fight and difficulty everything is just great in all versions. Now if only I didn't have to fight the bastard 5 TIMES!!! Morpho knight - memes and PTSD aside, this is a great boss fight. Being completly different from the other knights and yet having that sense of familiarity. The Mage Sisters - Seperatly they were great fights with their own strenghts and weaknesses. If they made a conjoined moveset it clould possibly work but its just 2-3 same bosses at the same time. In short, THIS IS THE ONLY KIRBY FIGHT I COULD GENEROUSLY CALL BULLS&$t. Forgotten land Leongar - both fights are rather forgettable. Neither of them really uniqe and lore wiseit feels like they are running out of ideas sith sympathetic villains. Yet another reason why I miss villains that just have a blast with being evil. Morpho knight - a perfect transition to 3d and hey, this fight is actually canon..... WAIT WHAT? Fecto forgo/Elfilis/Chaos Elfilis First bible references and now implications of the ancients being humans. Didn't star allies give us enough lore? All 3 fights pretty much show that the pink puffball has a future in 3d. I dond even mind the Marx/Drawcia clone for Chaos's final phase. And man, that finisher with the truck for Fecto Elfilis was both epic and stupid at the same time. I'll add Epic Yarn and Mass attack later when I'll beat those games. Not sure about Rainbow Curse though, really didn't like that type of gameplay when playing Canvas Curse but the clay visuals do look appealing.
I definitely found interest in this series especially playing the games and enjoying them for what they are I've only played a couple of the handheld games and my first experience was Forgotten Land Here's my opinions on each of the final bosses Dreamland 1: Solid Adventure & Nightmare in Dreamland: Decent Dreamland 2: Meh Dreamland 3: Exist Super Star & Super Star Ultra: Cool Crystal Shards: Simple but Effective Amazing Mirror: Annoying & Frustrating Squeak Squad: Underwhelming Canvas Curse: Cool & Intimating Forgotten Land: Awesome my personal favorite

True
3:16:46 bro when they really played the green greens from dreamland it went hard
I assumed that star allies was supposed to be the last game and void is the true final boss to end the series
More like a rebirth to 3d imo
Star allies is the last original mainline 2d game before Kirby's transition to 3d (obviously being Forgotten Land)
Ah yes, Drawcia. The birthplace of literally 50% of the attacks of all Dark matter representatives in Kirby games lol
So true lol wonder how that happened
And one of the others is that crazy mania of teleporting to random places while in battle, an inheritance from Nightmare.
And Marx, god knows why.

The memories are so vivid here, being a huge dark matter fan, I remember playing dreamland 2 when I was a little child (I turn 18 in September) and it grew on me massively.
So when I played robobot for the first time I was just playing the game all the time, because at the time I was homeschooled.
So of course I went for the true arena, and I was pretty focused so I wouldn't perish. And of course i wasn't paying attention to anything else
So came the biggest surprise of my life, the literal moment I heard the music and immediately saw the form of dark matter swordsman, there was the BIGGEST goofiest smile on my face as I immediately gasped and all you could hear from the hallway is
*"OH MY GAWD DARK MATTEEER!*
Which instantly broke my focus and almost died because I was vibing along to the theme 😂 because that was one of the most sudden surprises of my life in the kirby fandom
Man must have a been a fun time back then
@@davidthemusicman1046 it definitely was, buying RTDLDX last year brought that back too, (except for the true arena, that put the fear of God into me)
Unhooded Hyness has to be one of the most underrated songs in any game ever enough said

You got some of the most obscure boss themes I cant find anywhere.. easily one of the greatest collections of Kirby Final Boss themes on UA-cam. Next iteration should definitely include each Morpho Knight theme from SA, and.. whatever else the future holds for Kirby and his friends!
It depends on if another Kirby game comes around and maybe Morpho Knight will be added but I'll be ready for sure
Its so funny that it goes from 02 to goofy looking King Dedede
LOL
The Fact that Sectonia is barely a third into the video is scary, Triple deluxe came out only 10 years ago
@@jhihowbvow because of the length of previous bosses and later ones having more phases and secret fights really shows how far they will go
Kirby boss having more phases than Dragon Ball characters:
It's wild that Landia starts less than an hour into the video, and for the next 3 hours it's all modern Kirby. Since Return to Dream Land, songs are much longer on average, there are way more fights in the final boss gauntlet instead of just one or two, and there are a lot more spinoffs in between major releases.
Yeah pretty much but I do like more boss fights but not too much to where it's overwhelming

3: Giant Masked Dedede
2: Moonstruck Blossom

Definitely agree
Kirby, Kirby, Kirby, the name you should know. I don't have any personal feelings towards the series bit I respect the creators for keeping it good for that long. Even the worse titles like Squeak Squad and the weird Canvas Curse were fun (even if the ladder felt more like a fever dream). I didn't play all of them, but I did play all the standard ones and I will try out Mass Attack once I have the time.
But to give opinions in the final bosses
Dreamland 1 - fun but not hard, just like the games (for the most part)
Nightmare in dreamland/Adventure - WOW Second game in the series and already turning from silly fat penguin to eldrich horror. Too bad that this one is firstly a bit worse Kabula and then easier than Dark Nebula. Refight with King DeDeDe is pretty good, with a preference for the GBA version with the gourmet race remix
Dreamland 2 - While the boss is extremly cheesable, it is a good fight if you actually fight it.
Dreamland 3 - Dark matter was a meh and 0 was.... Definitely something. ,,A moon with an eye? How is that sca- IS THAT BLOOD?!" (Literally my words during the first time i fought him)
Crystal shards - Miracle matter is an amazing concept and fight, but it can drag out at times. 02 on the other hand is where the memes start. The fight is suprisingly basic with literally just 2 attacks, if not 1 and the theme is both fitting and out of place at the same time, like if it expects to die
Super Star/SS Ultra
King DDD - same as in Dreamland1
Dyna Blade - Doesn't really feel like a final boss, more like a regular one. The fight aint thst great for me either
Wham Bam Rock - Just like Dyna not much of a final boss feel, but the fight is at least better and can actually be difficult. Albeit his design was awful in the SNES version. Like seriously, WTF was that face
Meta Knight - the first kirby boss that kicked my ass.
(the other being Kracko's revenge)
Wham Bam Jewel - This one feels kind random. Its not a bad fight but it feels like they made it on the last minute to make helper to hero more unique.
Marx Soul - pretty much took what worked with Marx and made what didn't work, actually work. In short, the fight wont last just few a seconds. It also gave the groundwork for future soul fight with his moveset
Amazing Mirror - A semi rematch with nightmare and 0 (or at least their mirror world versions[I guess]) fixing the issues with the former as he actually attacks now. Phase 2 is, again, difficult with Dark Minds suprising speed, but yet again, fun. (TOO BAD I LOST COUNT ON HOW MANY TIMES I FOUGHT PHASE 1 IN A ROW)
Canvas Curse - A cool idea with phase 1. Really gotta see at least Mass Attack and Epic Yarn
Squeak Squad - Dark Daroach is like Marx Soul, with the difference being that normal Daroach actually worked on his own. Dark Nebula on the other hand... Was that really a final boss, or did they just get lazy? With both the fight and the design. At the same time Squeak squad does feel kinda rushed so that would explain it.
Return to Dreamland/Deluxe
Magolor - the only final boss in the modetn era to not use anything from Drawcia or Marx. His upgraded form in Deluxe is also either a massive coincidence, or shows that someone saw the modding scene for the original and decided ,, yeah unfair Magalor is a cool mod... Lets make our version"
(Also, this motherfuc&$+ is the sole reasons why I'm ready to shoot any character in any game that is weirdly friendly. I have LARGE trust issues becouse of him)
Master Crown - Why the hell do they look at the bible as an instruction for future bosses?
If it brings us bosses like that then I'm up for it but its still kinda weird
Triple Deluxe
Masked DDD - I prefer the original due to it being an actual rival fight and not the big oaf being braineashed again but this one is also good.
Dark DDD and Mirror Knight-
Dark DDD is there, I guess. Kinda felt like he is ther for the sake of a mirror fight. Mirror knight on fhe other hand went from a Meta knight clone to his own fight while still resembling the totally not the same species as kirby knight.
Planet Robobot
Mecha Knight 2.0 - this one is not exacly all that memorable.
Star allies
Hyness - we go from emposing figure to, whatever that guy is. Kinda cool how he uses the friend abilites against you. The fight has a weird progression however, from slow and relatively easy to dodge to what could generously be called a mountain high spasticfu&$
Void - just perfection.
Forgotten land
Leongar - both fights are rather forgettable. Neither of them really uniqe and lore wiseit feels like they are running out of ideas sith sympathetic villains. Yet another reason why I miss villains that just have a blast with being evil.
Morpho knight - a perfect transition to 3d and hey, this fight is actually canon..... WAIT WHAT?
Fecto forgo/Elfilis/Chaos Elfilis
First bible references and now implications of the ancients being humans.
I definitely found interest in this series especially playing the games and enjoying them for what they are I've only played a couple of the handheld games and my first experience was Forgotten Land
Here's my opinions on each of the final bosses
Dreamland 1: Solid
Adventure & Nightmare in Dreamland: Decent
Dreamland 2: Meh
Dreamland 3: Exist
Super Star & Super Star Ultra: Cool
Crystal Shards: Simple but Effective
Amazing Mirror: Annoying & Frustrating
Squeak Squad: Underwhelming
Canvas Curse: Cool & Intimating
Forgotten Land: Awesome my personal favorite
the "drawcia clone" bits are likely meant to just be references - I doubt that was ever a sign of them running out of boss ideas.
Bro, I keep returning to this video and listening to the whole thing while homeworking. The memories. I wish I was younger
Same I would have loved to experience these games at a young age
