Never understood bleeding a fishes main arteria ie the guts , do peoplemake fish sausage 😮. Unless the capillaries are somehow purged , I have no idea.
Awesome day !!! What depth were you at? I have such a hard time finding mangrove inshore. I’m always infested by grunts. New To the area and still learning maybe I just need to chum them up to the top. Fishing closer to the bottom.

Not asking for spot but what do u look for offshore to know kingfish might be around? Wrecks, reefs? Or just birds
Mostly looking for schools of bait out there, but the majority of the time you'll find the schools on wrecks and artificial reefs

That spot was 4 miles off of Clearwater in about 30' of water
