Presonus... (1) Make a Faderport24 & Faderport 32. (2) No ghost channels please. (3) Compatibility with all DAW and please include MOTU's Digital Performer 10. (4) Make the 24 & 32 Faderports with the LCDs having 20-25 degrees angle, so we can see better! (5) Bring back an upgraded hi-end version of the ACP88.
Surely would rock, but would be very expensive. I doubt the company would take such a business risk, since these controllers - especially in larger variants - do not sell huge numbers.
Michael Lauer The biggest reason for poor sales is the lack of affordable and well designed choices. For literally decades, it’s been $5000+ or ridiculous toys. The technology is easily available and the hardware is a small obstacle as it so closely resembles many of the digital mixers already in high volume production. The first to jump would likely see success in the $1000-3000 price range. There are many thousands of artists and independent producers with that kind of budget literally crying out for such a product. Avid started at the top and is working their way down with the S1, but 8 faders is just stupid. Seriously, who buys consoles with 8 faders? Nobody, and for very good reason. Adding faders to a control surface is considerably cheaper than adding channel strips to a mixer. My Control 24 is seriously outdated but the fader quantity is quite usable with a DAW that allows grouping, VCAs. I routinely arrange 80-90 track sessions on its 24 faders so I consider that number a good compromise. Tight integration with a DAW and its very inexpensive display makes a powerful recording and mixing solution. The market in this price range is far bigger and more sophisticated than manufacturers give them credit for.
I wonder how this compares to the Mackie Controller and Expander? I which this unit had dedicated pan controls on each channel. The transport controls look like the old Steinberg Houston Controller
Where is the other video you mention about controlling Plugins ? please. How to control Virtual Instrument parameters with the faders ? How to control the smartknobs with the faders ? please

Cambio De Tono couldn't agree more, the viewing angle on the scribble strips is so finite to the point of almost useless. Can't believe they didn't upgrade the displays for the 16. Otherwise a great unit. Please Presonus do a tutorial on functionality within Cubase, it's still a very grey area...
Hi ! thank you for your videos. I compose film music with Logic Pro X. And I would like to use the VCA to finalize my mixing with Faderport 8. Maybe you can answer a question. If i press the VCA button of Fadertport, i directly have the 8 VCA of logic assigned to the 8 faders of the midi controller? So, I would like to press PLAY in Logic and adjust my mix directly with the Faderport8. Thank you for your answer.
Why do the tracks in logic not line up with the channels on the Faderport? Why doesn't my first track in Logic coorolate to the first channel on the fader port?
Attention Presonus: The biggest reason for poor sales of control surfaces is the lack of affordable and well designed choices. For literally decades, it’s been $5000++ or ridiculous toys for under $1000, which are unsurprisingly of little interest. The technology is easily available and the hardware is a small obstacle as it so closely resembles many of the digital mixers already in high volume production. Presonus has a chance here though the Faderport is not quite going to do it. The first to jump would likely see success in the $1000-3000 price range. They must support it relentlessly too, with regular firmware and software updates that many would have no problem paying a reasonable price for. Avid played a hugely cynical trick on their customers by refusing to update their products in an infuriating game of planned obsolescence. This must not be repeated. There are many thousands of artists and independent producers with that kind of budget literally crying out for such a product. can you use the faders all together? i.e volume, automation, etc cause on the 8 I was able to use 1 fader at the time to write automation, volume ... therefore I returned .
Bought it. Plugged it in. Was amazed. The best controller I have ever owned. Flawless!

How to control Virtual Instrument parameters with the faders ?
How to control the smartknobs with the faders ?
please
Great product! Is there a way to make the channel strips in Logic Pro match what’s banked on the fader port 16?
Why no master fader?
@Presonus

How to control the smartknobs with the faders ?

Why No knobs above chanell strip?
The knob is too left, click selected track, turn the knob to pan. You are really missing out on this controller
Guys.. You should make some external metering for the faderports. Would be awesome

Yeah especially if whatever it is could also color-code the channel strips based on their colors in Studio One.
Seems like a awesome product
My dear friend. I just bought Faderport 16. There is no official PRESONUS tutorial video for STUDIO ONE 3.5/4 users. How is that possible?😁
Zoom function doesn't work, channel select is backwards, Marker don't work neither...
I want one of these so bad!

Please do a video on Fader Port 16 with Waves LV1.Thanks.
I use reason. will this work with that?
Does this work with Logic Pro 9 ?
Literally ANYTHING is ‘in another video’…..

Thanks, I meant am I going to be able to use the Faders i.e. 8 at the same time like analog console ? Cause on the Fader8 I couldn't .
@@djalexia Strange that you cant. In other videos I saw that this is possible.
This device has no inputs and is only suitable for post-production. It has no DAW function, and you cannot use it to control any recording software.
IMO this unit is too large, its midi and shouldn't have such a huge footprint.
