This song was specially composed by Shri Dilip Dholakia especially for Upagna when she was about twelve years old on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Shri Karsandas Manek, the poet of this song. Upagna recounts, "I can still remember performing it in Bhaidas auditorium, Vile-Parle, Mumbai. I had absolutely loved the way audience responded to this beautiful composition. It was a pleasure to see joy in the eyes of Shri Dilip Dhoalkia and my guru Smt. Kaumudi Munshi after my performance. And since then I kept on singing this song wherever possible. Over the years, this simple yet elegant poetry has remained alive in people's minds. And i am happy that many listeners have demanded the recording of this song as they all relate themselves with it in some or the other way."

He has efficiently maintained the right essence of this composition. Krunal has generously recorded every artist in his studio. I am equally grateful to Shashank Acharya for playing the soulful flute that is heard everywhere in the song. It is indeed the most essential part of this song. A big thanks to Shri Umashankar Shukla ji for bringing out the amazing tone of his sitar as he always does. It is a privilege that a senior and marvellous artist like Shukla ji has played in my song. And the tabla has been played by Abhimanyu Herlekar. His insight into putting up variety of theka's has been a great upliftment to the song.
