I found you channel a few months ago, good stuff, I'm glad to see you Hyun's Dojo.
It was impressive, the only animations that I didn't like were the non-fighting ones, but the rest was great. One recommendation, look into using more cartoon-ish looking textures for your models, I can only imagine that will improve your work a lot. All in all, I enjoyed this one. :D
Man... I was in high school when I first saw FLFFL vs Yoyo... I don't even know how many years ago? So cool to stumble upon this and see that Yoyo has gone from the scruffy underdog to the respected master. :D

At first I thought it was an okay animation for 3D but then the fighting started and man it ramped up to be a masterful animation with lots of unique fighting.
When something has 'Blank' vs 'Blank', there's a huge probability that it's gonna be a fighting match.
@@johnegbert9896 that wasn’t really the point of his comment the fighting taking place is word of god no clarification needed it’s the fact that pre fight the animations were whatever witch ends the moment the fight starts

breakdown:
Good:
yoyo had longer range and better weapon skills. He is much better fighting on a slanted turf like the roof.
white han had more unpredictability with multiple weapons, is better at fighting in a slim alley and is better at hand to hand combat along with being faster.
Bad:
yoyo has to pull his weapon back to attack again. His yoyo can be caught, wrapped up and easily taken away as done in the fight.
white han has less range and if his weapons are lost, he has to run to get it, but in water he doesn't have time to dive.
turn around:
the fight was in yoyo's favor because he can just stay back and range white han out, but white han was prepared for this and tried to stay close. Yoyo would have won if he did his dragon attack on land and not water. The water absorbed some of the impact and hid white han for a stealth attack. Also because yoyo thought he won white han had time to find his weapons. Knowing yoyo was off guard, tired and weakened, he put all his remain energy into speed and strength to surprise attack yoyo, connect all parts of his combo and win the fight.
winning feature:
endurance, intelligence, speed and timing.

Meh, I don't know if White Han really "won". I would qualify it as a draw. Even though the water hid him partially from Yoyo's attack, it didn't mean the attack failed to deliver, which did actually take its toll on White Han at the end when he passed out along with Yoyo.

He almost did win but I think he missed his final shot so White Hun was able to hit him with his best attack, ending yoyo.
6:35 - 7:00's camera angles were really awesome. It just fits with the soundtrsck and that awesome fighting animation.

Absolutely AMAZING!! Everything was perfect, the choreography, the cinematography, and the music and sounds blended so well!! I don't even care that there were no voice overs or subtitles to tell is what was going on, because THAT'S NOT WHY WE'RE HERE! The fight was just that AWESOME and didn't need any of that. Great work all around and I can't wait to see more like this!
As a martial artist, I was very impressed by this animation I have come across.The animator clearly has some knowledge, and most likely have some background.

That was AMAZING! Not only did he spend the time modeling and lighting, but also animating, camera work, and timing were all done fantastically. Each movement gave a good amount of time between frames to both see what was happening and appreciate the amazing moves and abilities they were using. Easily one of the best 3D fight sequences I've seen in a while. Very well done derahope :D

The weakness of yoyo is close fight, he is strong in medium/long range, but in close fight, he cannot do too much besides roll and dodge...

Hyun has the dragon powers confirmed. I thought it was a sonic yoyo. What's amazing about this is not only was it in 3D, but the fact that this was 8 minutes long. Your effort is amazing. I hope you can pump more videos out with good quality. But don't force yourself.

Damn the choreography and sense of space and positioning was great! nice work, my only nitpick was that it was a little hard to see Yoyo at some points, that could just be me though.
When I saw some of derahope's earlier animations, I thought they were cool but slow and needed work. Now seeing the progress made, it's really been awesome. Keep it up!
THIS WAS AMAZING. From the masterfully creative choreography, to the epic 3D rendering of the Dojo, all the way to that intimidating noise you gave YoYo's yo-yo. You gave credit to the might of your opponent, a rare and admirable trait in RHGs. VERY well done.

I would honestly say that the FLLFFL/NEMESIS/Umbrella story has a better plot than RWBY v2. The coherent story formed by a bunch of flash animators (particularly FL's rise and fall) felt more natural than some of the things RWBY does.
All these years and still such a fantastic 3d animation concept. You need to do this more again and more "Yoyo"

The fight had a meaning, the animations were on point, the map design was BEAUTIFUL, The fight scene had levels, the camera work was FANTASTIC, they are stick figures and YET they had clear characteristics, and it was AWESOME!!!

Greatest stick fight I have seen so far. I remember watching fights like these in 2D in 2007 and would have never imagined it could have been possible in 3D. This is a master piece. Great job to the guys who choreographed this fight.
I feel the need to point out that this awesome level of animation and this stellar fight was inspired by STICK FIGURES! The guys at Hyun's Dojo and many others take every kid's first attempts at drawing a person, and make them some of the best things ever! These amazing people are a prime example of what can be born from such simple roots. Awesome animation Derahope, I cannot wait to see what you and the rest of the Dojo make in the future.

I cannot even formulate the words to really get across how awesome this animation is! I love the fact that a lot of Yoyo's moves are not just yoyo tricks, but legit moves shown by users of Meteor hammers. I love how White Han fights with their weapon, the movements and travels during the fight, just..it all was great!

the animation is so smooth, the graphic is so beautiful, and the particles are so well. Lofe et!
I honestly can't do this scene justice. I usually judge a fight on several categories: choreography, angles, speed, color, sound, and music. This one aces in all of them. The choreography is incredible, in small scenes like Han flipping over the yoyo to grabbing his staff to the hand to hand combat was amazing. The speed is insane, the camera angles improve the battle completely, the sounds are spot on, the colors aren't much, but the sparks and charge of the yoyo are great, and the music is just incredible. This is hands down the best stick fight I've ever seen.
