I'm pretty sure you have never been in Limpopo in rural villages of Venda. These houses are beatiful but you can not compare them with the houses in Venda.
It is because in America they've studied engineering and came up with codes on how to build a house that can last a long time even if build with wood. Also Un America there is a lot of wood. The only is natural disasters and fire which are both covered by the government and insurance companies respectively .
