    How is the battery working? Can you share the link to the lithium battery?

    Hey so just watched this is this the 12v 20 Ah “ kayak” battery from them? I didn’t see one in the lithium power site specific to skis. Also how has it been holding up I’m thinking of talking the plunge myself.

      I cannot say enough great stuff about them. My ski has a secondary 12 volt battery and just got another to replace it with!

      @@Soggydoggyfishing So I got mine today for my ‘18 wake pro. So the Lithium battery power battery is about 1/4” too big for the tray. Did this fit yours perfect or did you mix the tray to accommodate it?

      @@Soggydoggyfishing I decided to just convert a new one over. So if any one sees this, Wake Pro 230 you will need BRP Part Number 278003473 (~ 20$) and will need some 3/16 pop rivets with a broad head to switch this over. You will need to cut the battery support to accomodate the battery size then you will need a spacer to fill in the width (I 3d printed a spacer (3/16” x 2.5” x 6 7/8”).
      Also talked to Will at LBP, super nice guy, and make sure that you order the High performance variant of this battery (12v 20 Ah) as this one allows a boost to start (think better CCA).

    Hey are you able to open the front hatch on your ski with the trolling motor in the stowed position

    • @Soggydoggyfishing
      @Soggydoggyfishing  2 роки тому +1

      Only several inches; however, you can deploy, pause the deploy, open hatch and re stow. Ideally there would be a swivel bad allowing everything to pivot off to the side so you can do so. I think Troll Ski is working on solutions for that

    What is the purpose of having 2 x batteries in parallel ? if one goes flat, they both go flat ? Why not have a battery selector switch on them, & run on battery "A" all the time and keep battery "B" as a back up ?

      I am counting that neither go flat. I am running my radio the entire time I am fishing with the ski off.

    Great video. Some thoughts: (1) the temperature in hull is pretty high (150-200 F). It seems exceeding the work range of most Li Batteries. Do you see any issues there? (2) When parallelizing batteries ideally they should be identical. If not there might be risk that one battery ended up often charges the other and the battery pair become less durable. Appreciate you could share your experience how it goes and if this set up lasts. Many thanks!

      Great thoughts. I actually just got another lithium to replace the last lead acid so both will be the same. As far as when running them in parallel, every few months I rotate their position.

    I have the same Seadoo Bilge pump on my 2020 FishPro. It's an "always on" pump so once you press the start button you should hear a constant "Bzzzzzzzzz" since there's is no float switch. Also at 6:40 I think you forgot to put the LinQ clips back in LOL

    • @Soggydoggyfishing
      @Soggydoggyfishing  2 роки тому +2

      I left them out so my dog does not have to lay on them.

      @Redwng 2 роки тому +1

      @@Soggydoggyfishing Yea, I kinda regret installing that pump. I should've installed a custom bilge pump with a switch like you see on other videos. When fishing in a spot with the engine off all you hear is a constant "Bzzzz" and it can get annoying. The only way to turn it off when accessories is on is to remove the 3 amp fuse.

      @@Soggydoggyfishing Take a look at your fuse box and make sure there is a 3 amp fuse on the left side of the fuse box that's meant for the bilge pump. I tried posting an imgur link of my fuse box, but I don't think UA-cam liked it.
