When Eddie was playing the keyboard for this song 39 years ago fans of the band in the US boycotted buying the album because they didn't like Eddie playing the keyboard. And yet that keyboard riff is one of the most recognised in the world even to this day.
boycotts barely work when they involve actual necessities for massive amounts of people, of course it didn't do shit to the sales of the latest release from one of the biggest bands in the world at the time lol
That wasn’t even the first time EVH played keyboard on a VH album. The main riff from “And the cradle will rock,” from the album “Women and Children First” was played on a keyboard hooked up to a guitar amp.
Boycott? It was there biggest selling song and album. I don’t know anyone that boycotted it. We were all waiting in line to get it.

Sounds great! Just an fyi, you can make it so the cell stops recording automatically in the track settings. This way you don’t have to stop it every time

Jump is the synthesizer equivalent of stairway on the guitar!
we're not really there. It has nothing to do with sound, it's totally different. Van Halen used the Oberheim OB-Xa synth for jump. if you search UA-cam you will find hundreds of videos on how to program that preset. I believe that by now almost every Digital Workstation has a preset called "Jump Stab". try to have a look. good life!

Big facts here. I’m a multi instrumentalist and I’m trying to get the minilab integrated to solo shows so I can accompany myself, both as normal with my vocal processor and guitar pedals (use a Radial voco loco preamp, Digitech Whammy and Headrush MX5 while I play flutes and sing) and also integrating the midi. I’d love to have things setup properly so I can use the looping features of the MX5 as well as the minilab all within one song. But frankly, starting here and at the very least getting info on the DAW you’re using would be sooooo helpful!

I’d love to use Logic Remote. I have Logic Remote but because of the problem with the missing note at the end of the loop I can’t really use it yet until I’ve finished uni and I can update logic! I won’t update anything because of assignments aha.
I’m guessing they have fixed the issue with the missing note after you finish recording the loop
It is a great tool! I haven't had any issues with missing notes myself.
What about a computer key 🔐 🔑 🔑 🔑 board that is a piano 🎹 keys they should make that (idk china)
