Hi The Darkest Muse, there will always be a few who just won't like your content no matter what! But hey.. no issues, I LOVE my food 😁👍😉 I hope you enjoyed these beauties.. because they are the best thing ever! 🤤🤤
I made these tonight. Never made pastry of any description before. Making it was easy. Rolling it was less easy (for a 60yr old bloke with motor neuropathy), but I got there after a disastrous start. I confess I got bored cutting and folding halfway through, so made half into samosas and the rest as 'samosa/Cornish pasties'. Tasted great and the pastry bubbled up nicely as it should. Thanks for the tutorial and recipe.
I go to a local coffee shop at least once a week to pick up a couple of these...the Owner drives 100 plus miles to get his traditional samosas every week....now I can make these and have them on hand 🤤😋 THANKYOU!!
Hi Hannah Butcher.. thank you for your comment. Bless, now no need as these homemade ones are so much better in taste and quality. It's a labour of love I say but one definitely worth it. Enjoy 😊

PJ Cash this is a labour of love! Hard work but totally worth it! I prefer both.. the filo pastry ones are dainty and you can enjoy more than one, one of these will be enough as they're big! Enjoy 😊
My son commented on the lamb samosa in come dine with me, yesterday. Although I'm extremely busy, I find nothing more relaxing than cooking ( except hamams and massages) and my boy is coming home to lamb samosas. I hope they are as good as yours look, and THANK YOUUU :)

I love your vids, well explained & understandable, also common ingredients so you’re not looking for essence of unicorn horn. You should have your own TV show, you’re by far better than most of them. Thank you.
I am chef dannydad with about 30 years experience in kitchen. Your ways of making samosa is great and detail. Ever tried to put some corriender power with pinch of dry mint (for mutton samosa). ?
oooo just found your channel by accident and so glad I did, I can't wait to try your samosas, I love them but apart from my local Indian Curry restaurant where I live the only other place I can get the fresh ones is 90 miles away in Newcastle. I love Indian curries and breads, so now I will turn my kitchen into Karen's curry house. Thank you for sharing.😁
Thank you so much for this video, I have been trying for so long to make the samosas that I used to enjoy as a child and finally I have found it thanks to you. You cannot beat Punjabi style as a lot of bought ones don't add the potato. Can't wait to tuck in. Yay.
they look great! quick question from the beginning of the video, you put in all the spices after the meat was in the pan, is it any different if we add all spices in the meat before putting it on to cook?
I normally like to cook off my mince slightly before adding spices. That's how I've seen my mum do it. I suppose you could add the spices in with he meat if you wanted to.
Love samosas though mine once came out terrible! I've been comparing your samosa recipe to Nisha Katona's video from the 'This Morning' programme,- interesting, might be worth you having a look, I like your idea of adding the lamb mince (her's are veg samosas) and Nicha's idea of using filo pastry, (I'm useless with making pastry). I'm torn between the two of you lol!
I love your channel and have acquired some really useful information and some fantastic recipes…..You have a really natural and enthusiastic manner, which is very inspiring…… I love the look of this recipe too, but if I wanted to serve them as part of a meal, (and frying them, when guests have arrived is not really feasible) how would you suggest reheating them at a later point, so they still taste as delicious when I serve them as part of a dinner party……
Absolutely mouthwatering what can you do to make the samosa pastry softer I ate some at my sisters and the pastry was hard which was hard to chew please share stay blessed

Simon, thanks for your comment. Definitely do try this recipe, they're AMAZING! I love both filo and homemade pastry samosas. Haha, yes the peas 🤦♀️🤷♀️😁
Scott, they freeze beautifully well. That's exactly what I do when I batch make. Fry a few freshly made ones and pop the the others flat in the freezer to hold their shape for maybe 4/6 hours or overnight then pop them into zip lock bags and freeze. Then just take out as many as you need and allow to defrost for an hour or so and simply fry. This batch does make quite a fair bit, you may want to halve the quantity of all ingredients to maybe make a smaller batch.

My Little Kitchen I noticed that you skip adding Garlic in some of you recipes, just wondering if there is a reason? Normally, with chicken or any meat/ especially with lamb - we add garlic to compensate for the meat smell. That’s all I was wondering. Happy cooking.🌟🌟🌟

Hi there, thanks for your comment. Unfortunately there isn't a substitute for it and you could leave it out if you've none to hand but it is a game changer! Hope that helps 😊
Hi John, thank you for your comment. Absolutely but what I find sometimes when I come to defrost them is that the pastry becomes wet and cracks in places. But other than that no issues when frying or compromise on taste! Hope that helps.
