This what I what fear. I haven’t watched Tommy in a minute but I decided to start watching again. I used to dance when I was younger able to do everything. Ready to battle wasn’t afraid to be on stage. Now I’m 20. It’s like I lost my fire and convinced myself I wouldn’t be able to get it back and that alone has kept me from ever dancing again. Losing your fire isn’t just about losing the drive to do something. It starts with losing the confidence in your ability to DO IT. You start feeling like you don’t look the same like you used to. You don’t hit the same like you used to. You’re washed up and boring to watch. Those thoughts lead to you losing drive to even attempt to try again.
