#hollywood #celebrities #usa #america
Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford and Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison. YES!!!
Kenneth Branagh as Boris Johnson. Whoa!
Im sorry but kristen stewart looks nothing like princess diana
Totally agree, nothing like Princess Diana, Naomi Watts was worse
@@janelewis6303 ya she didn't look like her either. But I don't think she did a bad job portraying her though
@@janelewis6303 Naomi played her accurately and beautifully Kristen's portrayal was false and made Diana look like an always unhappy woman she was not there were plenty of positive timesfor Diana Spencer made her look crazy and and it was a downer which Diana was not everywhere Diana went she lit up the room Spencer did not portray that
Thank you for your insight. Cheers 🎉
Ben Kingsley as Mahatma Gandhi is so close‼️
Val kilmer should have gotten an Oscar for his portrayal of jim Morrison
And also for doc holliday in tombstone
I saw That Movie when it came up , in 1991 , of course and I totally agree with you . Val Kilmer did a great job . So Special .
I said the same thing years ago.I'm sure Val has heard that a zillion times,a nd deservedly so.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🎬😊
He’s better off without it. Why do we need silly trophies to justify our greatness?
@@corilia9529 what ? for being an over-sexxed, asshole, junkie👎
The actor playing Ghandi looked so much like him!
Ben Kingsley
yes agree ,that was only one where they looked like the same person
Ben Kingsley for the win!
Gary Oldman is spot on as Sid Vicious
And as Lee Harvey Oswald in JFK
Gary Oldman is spot on in every role!
I don't even vaguely get Kristen Stewart looking like Dianna but Joan Jett definitely
Kristen Stewart will always be recognized as herself in any role she does. She did well as Joan Jett, but if I watched Spencer, I would probably see Kristen instead of Diana, through the whole movie.
Diana was the standout pretty sister in her own family, and resembled an ancestor whose portrait hangs in Althorp.
Agree with you!
You are right
The director of Spencer, Pablo Lorrain, thought it would work and it did.
Hardly anyone saw the Runaways, btw. That's a shame because Stewart was terrific.
Most Of The List Are Spot-On! Except Kristen Stewart tho.
They forgot Evan Peters as Dahmer. He did an amazing performance.
Princess Diana looks way more beautiful than Kristen Stewart.
They missed that one by a mile!
I think we should give credit to the makeup artist who transformed all these actors.
Definitely 👍🏾
Exactly. Half the time the incredible transformation is due to prosthetics and 100% of the time it’s the makeup involved. Kudos to the makeup teams!
Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles. And even though this Elvis bio pic I'm about to mention was a tv movie, Jonathan Ryss Meyers looks n sounds exactly like Elvis. As a matter of fact anytime I see him in any movie I notice his remarkable resemblance to Elvis. Charlize Theron in " monster" was one of the best makeup jobs in history.
Kirk Douglas played Vincent van gough it was amazing 😮 I loved the movie 🎥
Taron Egerton should have got a Oscar for Rocketman ❤❤
👍
Sort of before my time, but I love old movies. Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford gives me chills. One legend portraying another.
Faye Dunaway is the most look-alike I have ever seen in my 74 years. I will make a point to watch it.😉
Eu já assisti a esse filme 🎥. É 😢muito triste 😢 e pesado. Não é um filme recomendável para pessoas sensíveis. Nunca mais assisti novamente. Triste demais. 💔😔
When I saw the movie Mommy Dearest, I found Faye Dunaway‘s portrayal so incredible that you even forget it’s an actress. For pretty much most of the movie I just thought I was watching Joan Crawford.
Be aware...the wire hangers scene was over the top.
@@danicegewiss862 That scene traumatized me as an 8-year-old!
Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash. Excellent!! And a great movie, too. I'm so old I remember Steve Railsback as Charles Manson. He did a great job.
I thought he resembled Kris Kristofferson
Ben Kingsley seems to have been born to portrait Mahatma Gandhi one day.
Charlize Theron had an amazing transformation to match her amazing performance.
I was really impressed by Jon Voight! He was very good as the Pope by as Roosevelt... I didn't recognise him although I watched the film on a huge cinema screen!!!
Are we sure that's really Kenneth Branagh??? If it read Boris Johnson as himself I would have fallen for it!!!
My thought exactly, especially on the Boris Johnson part.
Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana .... Bad, so bad ....🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Meg Ryan looks like Meg Ryan. She just can't help it.
Laurence Fishburne doesn’t look like Ike
And Angela Bassett looked nothing like TIna.
Don Cheadle looked amazingly like Sammy Davis, Jr..
I remember watching the movie Willow and immediately thought that Val Kilmer looked like Jim Morrison.
Denzel Washington looked like Malcolm X in Glory.
Some were so-so but others were just amazing.
Ben Kingsley was spot on. I thought Charlize Theron was so beautiful in The Italian Job. When Monster came out I rented it. I kept asking myself, where is that beautiful Charlize? They really changed her looks. Thanks for posting these. Great job. Do one of the worst matches.
Charlieze amazes me. The fact that she took on the role of one of Florida's most vicious serial killers is amazing. I feel a little bad for Aileen Warnous before she became a killer. Her childhood was extremely rough. And I feel bad for Tonya Harding. She had an abusive mom and useless and abusive ex-husband with Jeff Guloly. I said that because I can't stand her mom. But I love Allison Janney. Amazing actress. I saw I Tonya. Margot Robbie was perfect as Tonya. I recommend seeing the movie. You will understand Tonya better. And if you look deeper into Aileen's life, you may understand her. Watch Deadly Women. Her episode was good. But she still was a violent criminal that deserved the death penalty. Even if she was seeking revenge for what was done to her.
@@Juliet-zq5sn It's my understanding that Charlize had to put on about 30 pounds for her role in Monster.
Ben Kingsley 🎭👏
Watching James Franco portray James Dean was absolutely stunning, I’m surprised that he was not mentioned in this episode.
He was in Part 1
@@archiemustachie3693good to know. Thanks for telling me about that. I didn’t get to see part 1 yet.
Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett was for the film "The Runaways", not for "The Iron Lady".
I wonder if they make those 'mistakes' to get more comments.
Kristen was too short to be believable Jacquin was Amazing.
Some of the resemblances are not that perfect.
Although they might not be perfect, the movie industry does try its hardest to make the actors look as close as possible to the real people. 99% of the time they nail it. 👍👍
How about Jim Carrey as Andy Kaufman, spot on
Nope
Not even
Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne did very well as Ike and Tina Turner. Val Kilmer was perfect as Jim Morrison!!! And Faye Dunaway did pretty well as Joan Crawford. Gary Oldman was perfectly vicious as Sid Vicious!
The guy who played Charles Manson was spot on. Scary.
Damon Herriman who played him in Mindhunter was much better
@@shamusteakiawa I'll have to check it out. I didn't see it.
Thoroughly agree with Damon Herriman comment 👏
Jeremy Davies much better 👍 ( Helter Skelter )
Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill
Hellen Mirren as Golda Meir
Overall, I think this was an even better list than the first volume.
Van Damme wasn't even close.
Frank Dux would like to be build like Van Damme.
Not in looks, but Van Damme surpassed Frank's Martial arts moves, so he was perfect in the movie.
Van Damme is so chiselled, he looks like himself only.
Apparently Charlie Chaplin took part in a CC look alike competition, he was 3rd or 5th
🤣🤣🤣
Same as Elvis 😂
@@janelewis6303 😭🤣🤣🤣
@@eggie011 apparently Elvis enjoyed it when he didn't win..cheers my friend 🇦🇺👋🦘
Charlize Theron like Amy Wournos in Monster ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Amy wournos, who's that?
@@vidneypopples aileen
@@eduardorodriguez-os2bd that's better!
@@vidneypopples 🙏
Eileen Wournos.
Hoffman’s performance in “Capote” was wonderful but physically he was not the best Toby Jones in “Infamous “ was the right Truman
Kristen stewart as Joan Jett not in The Iron Lady, but in The Runaways
I can't stand her acting though. She doesn't have a huge range of emotions and she always speaks so monotone.
Again, great job of working your magic at twinning. Some spot on, most are really great, some almost, some not quite there. Hugs
Van damme didn't look like him he just played the part!
Ed Harris as John Glenn ..the right stuff
The guy who played Charles Manson in the TV series "Mindhunter" dead dead ringer.
Van Damme just acting himself
Excellent video! Thanks!
Michael Sheen was spot on
My favorite movie with James Cromwell is "Babe"
Ben Kingsley as Gandhi, one of the most accurate. Amazing job.
KURT RUSSEL MADE THE MOST PERFECT AND RESPECTFUL REPRESENTATION OF ELVIS PRESLEY!!!❤❤❤
Absolutely
Also, in the movie 'The Beach Boys: An American Family' (2000), Kevin Dunn plays Beach Boys father Murray Wilson perfectly.
Yeah, I have to say Faye D. as Joan C. as well. Nailed it
Should've had Michael Sheen as Wesley Snipes
Kyle McLaughlin was much handsomer than the real Ray manzarek.
Me sumo al comentario!!! le salió excelente muuuy buena interpretación!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
You should have had Joe Pesci as Tony Spilotro in Casino, & Jim Broadbent as Boss Tweed in Gangs of New York.
Extraordinary! Some of the pictures you chose were so perfect!
-Angela and Tina, yes. Laurence and Ike, no. But Laurence DID bring the scary husband out very well. To the point that the female fanbase of the movie treated him badly for a few years after the movie's release. He was apprehensive about doing this movie, because he knew it would happen, but he did it anyway, and he did it well! Angela played Tina so well, whether they naive and submissive wife or the strong and courageous divorcée. She had her performance down!
-James Cromwell (except for his height to Prince Phillip) and Taron Egerton to Elton John were good choices.
-Ben Kingsley has a face that can be Indian or Arabic and I have seen him in many various roles. Except that his face isn't petite/delicate enough, he was a great choice for Gandhi.
-I saw Mommie Dearest, Faye Dunaway played controlling, scary, and selfish perfectly. But, I had never seen her and Joan Crawford side-by-side. They could be related. Like cousins.
-I don't know that Val Kilmer looks like Morrison (from photos used in this promo), but I do remember hearing that he rerecorded the songs from the original albums and had the original band members listen to them. They could not tell the different from the originals and the rerecordings. Kilmer matched Morrison's voice That well. It could believe it. He is an incredible actor, but sadly under rated and under used (before he got sick).
-Kenneth Branagh as Boris Johnson. I have no idea who either are. But, except for Branagh's face being too smooth, they could be brothers.
-Just like I said in Part 1, Gary Oldman could play anybody who is any age, while he is any age - young or old. Sid Vicious was older than Oldman was in the mid-80s (or he was aged from a hard life) and Oldman still managed to get him almost exactly. Born with a mask!
-Like Will Smith, Eugene Levy will never look like anybody but Eugene Levy. And if he looks like his father, the way his son looks like him. Then he could play his father. And nobody else.
-Kristen Stewart did not play Joan Jett in The Iron Lady (2011). That was Meryl Streep as Thatcher (which was covered in Part 1), she played her in The Runaways (2010).
Taron Egerton hands down looked the best!! Check out Beverly D'Angelo as Patsy Cline in Coalminer's daughter! Uncanny!😮
Though I haven't seen most of the movies. To me the best I petsonations were those of Angela Bassett, Faye Donaway , Ben Kinsley and Kirk Douglas.
Eric banana as Chopper was spot on character and look.
Thanks for doing Bloodsport 😅
GREAT.
For the short role Serinda Swan had in Devotion 2022, I thought she did resemble Elizabeth Taylor, as well.
Nice video again, take care, and all the best.
Joan Crawford was spot on!
Bob Hope looked more like Truman Capote, or vice versa....not sure which.
Some of them were spot on.
Gary busy was to rugged looking for the role of Buddy Holly.
Wow, there was a Peter Sellers Biopic.
Also
Michael Sheen’s Brian Clough was pretty good too.
...and Sam Riley as Ian Curtis
Dsniel Oliveira as Cazuza
Andreia Horta as Elis Regina
Dennis Quaid as Jerry Lee Lewis
Kinda stretching it on most but dead on on a few
Nicholson as Hoffa
Jessica Lange as Patsy Cline
Jessica Chastain as Tammy Faye Bakker
Other than Gary Oldman being already 27/28 when playing a 19 year old Sid Vicious, he did a very good job. Actors resembling real life people most of the time is just a phenomenal make-up and epithesis department. Most of the time the actors do not look naturally like the famous people they play.
Dustin Hoffman without his facial hair in Hook is a dead ringer for Amy Winehouse 😂
Some pretty girls in this video!
Cooper as Bernstein is stunning; what about Jonathan Price as Pope Francisco
Gary Oldman looked more like Joe Orton (in "Prick Up Your Ears") than he did Sid Vicious.
Two missed opportunities: Johnny Depp as Frida Kahlo, Jason Bateman as Janis Joplin. If Kevin Spacey is ever allowed a film comeback, he could do "The Porter Hall Story."
What about Golda?
I agreeee
I must say each if the original individuals has their own spirit and aura that is hard to reproduce.
Faye as Joan has my vote.
Austin Butler as Elvis! This list has to be older than the film.
He was in Part 1
Faye Dunaway is the exact doppleganger of Joan Crawford
I think its more about the performance as the person they are betraying rather than looking like the person.
I agree.
Duplicating a person's apperance is very important. However, duplicating a person's expressions, movements, mannerisms, voice, gestures, and behaviors are even more important.
Tony Blair IS Michael Sheen😅
Michael Sheen again played Tony Blair in "The Queen"
I love it when the star really looks the character they are playing. These ones are not that great, a few were good ,but the best was Jim Morrison. They couldn't have gotten a better match.
You left out Jimmy Fox as Ray Charles (Ray, 2004) and Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs (Jobs, 2013).
Angela and Lawrence as Tina and Ike still blow me away to this day. That was not acting.
Danny DeVito as Elvis Presley
If Jim Morrison is still alive he could probably impersonate Val Kilmer.
There are some of these that don't look exactly alike but they're pretty close
Sorry... Kristen Stewart will ALWAYS be Bella Swan.
Rocket man is a very good movie.
I do not know if it got the success it deserved though.
Most these actors look only slightly like the real ones
I don’t think that’s Kenneth Branagh!
Geoffrey Rush as Peter Sellers...not.
You forgot Jamie fox as ray Charles that should of been number1
Whenever I watch THE DOORS, I always think that Val Kilmer looked identical to Jim Morrison... until I see photos and film footage of the real Jim Morrison.
Tu Pac biopic was played by someone who was the spitting image of the rapper
