There is much beauty in the world when we take the time to seek it.

    TO A STRANGER.
PASSING stranger! you do not know how longingly I
    look upon you,
You must be he I was seeking, or she I was seeking,
(it comes to me, as of a dream,)
I have somewhere surely lived a life of joy with you,
All is recall'd as we flit by each other, fluid, affection-
    ate, chaste, matured,
You grew up with me, were a boy with me, or a girl
    with me,
I ate with you, and slept with you-your body has
become not yours only, nor left my body mine
    only,
You give me the pleasure of your eyes, face, flesh, as
we pass-you take of my beard, breast, hands,
    in return,
I am not to speak to you-I am to think of you when
I sit alone, or wake at night alone,
I am to wait-I do not doubt I am to meet you again,
I am to see to it that I do not lose you.

Walter "Walt" Whitman (May 31, 1819 - March 26, 1892) was an American poet, essayist, and journalist.
A humanist, he was a part of the transition between transcendentalism and realism, incorporating both views in his works.
Whitman is among the most influential poets in the American canon, often called the father of free verse.
His work was very controversial in its time, particularly his poetry collection Leaves of Grass, which was described as obscene for its overt sexuality.
Born in Huntington on Long Island, Whitman worked as a journalist, a teacher, a government clerk, and-in addition to publishing his poetry-was a volunteer nurse during the American Civil War.
Early in his career, he also produced a temperance novel, Franklin Evans (1842).
Whitman's major work, Leaves of Grass, was first published in 1855 with his own money.
The work was an attempt at reaching out to the common person with an American epic.
He continued expanding and revising it until his death in 1892.
After a stroke towards the end of his life, he moved to Camden, New Jersey, where his health further declined.
When he died at age 72, his funeral became a public spectacle.

Life is too short. Relationships are sweet torment. Love is doomed to a tragic bitter end in ever case. This is why we do it over and over again.

This one of the most beautiful renditions of WW I have seen. I wish though, her face would not be revealed, no closeups would be done. Nevertheless, it is well recited.

They say life can’t be defined. That’s ridiculous. The definition should be, “if you know you’re alive, then you are”.
    Fear not

The music is louder than the voice. It's annoying. Turn it very low or off . Life contains no music. There you go, use that as a title and write a poem about unnecessary noise . "Life contains no music, listen not to noisy videos . . . ''" etc .
