About people like Tommy, we say “Kissed by God.” He is a gift from heaven to us. 3 songs, and Tommy is different everywhere. He's talented. And, by the way, in the chat, Tommy said that he knows how to play the violin, he just doesn’t have this instrument. And I really like the last song performed by Brian May. But Tommy made it even more beautiful. Thanks for such a wonderful review. I just recently saw you and subscribed. Mainly because of Tommy...😊
You gotta love Tommy, his voice is phenomenal. The first 2 songs, Take Me Home Country Roads and Cotton Eye Joe were brilliant and fun, and Tommy on the banjo was awesome. I loved them both and your reactions. I am a massive lifelong Queen fan, they are probably my favourite band of all time, and I love Tommy's covers of Queen songs. His cover of Too Much Love Will Kill You was incredible. Made In Heaven is such a great, and poignant album. Tommy more than did the song justice, he has an incredible way of making every song his own. Great reactions Dane... 🤘🤘
Some info about Too Much Love Will Kill You. It was written by Brian May in 1988 and is about the breakdown of his first marriage and his feelings for his eventual second wife Anita Dobson. It was recorded by Queen with Freddie on vocals in 1989 and was intended to be on the album released that year called The Miracle, but didn't make it due to songwriting loyalties. Brian May then recorded a version of the song with his vocals and played it at the Queen tribute concert after Freddie's death. It was included on his own solo album Back To The Light, and was released as a single in 1992, and did very well, at least here in the UK. When Queen released Made In Heaven in 1995, they decided that the Queen version with Freddie's vocals should be included on the album, and it was also released as a single. It didn't do nearly as well as the Brian May version, but is considered a Queen song rather than a Brian May song, even though technically the Queen version is a cover of Brian May's version. It has been one of my favourite Queen songs for a long time now... 🤘🤘 Here is the link to Brian May's version... ua-cam.com/video/d5vYn6m934Y/v-deo.htmlsi=jqHGEyyfyQcG_rvj The Queen version is brilliant, but Brian May's version hits you deep down in your soul...
You should listen to "Swedish Hits go Metal" and Mamma Mia 🎶🥰💪. Tommy is much younger (and a little bigger than now) in that performance, but oh my Lord, it's pure 💎💎💎.
I think Tommy is my favourite male singer to watch. Phenomenal performer and fun. Tommy, along with Marc Martel, are my top two male singers in terms of vocal ability. Marc does all things Queen. He sang lead for Queen Extravaganza for a number of years - the official Queen tribute band of Roger Taylor's. He also did the vocals for Bohemian Rhapsody film. He does other covers as well, lots of Christmas music and his own music. He does two versions of Too Much Love Can Kill You - one from his home studio, solo, and another in collab with Jonathan Cilia Faro (Italian opera singer) from Jonathan's studio. Both versions are awesome.
Thanks for this reaction! It was a funny one. The two furst one was alot of humor and the last one he show a great respekt to the original. It was beautiful. 😂
Rednex is actually a Swedish group. But the original song was called Cotton Eyed Joe. Made by The Chieftains in 1981. Rednex made a version of it called Cotton Eye Joe.
The man in the picture is Merlin (Mark Strong) from the movie Kingsman 2. The video playing in the background is a clip from the movie where Merlin is singing this song as a heroic diversion. The clip ua-cam.com/video/01AySy3H39M/v-deo.html
I thought he looked familiar.😄 I’ve seen both Kingsmen movies so I was confused for a minute. I thought that Mark Strong. I’ve been a fan of his since he did Emma with Kate Beckinsale.
He has a lot of own songs he has had his band for 20 years first it was names ReinXeed and later Majestica. On his own channel you can find the video The Light 20 year celebration as a cover of him self. And why don’t you see a value in rearranging songs? It is not like he does it like a karaoke. He arrange, plays all instruments, produce and mix and films (most of them) him self. If someone would play let’s say Bach would you then say the same? No value in playing classical music? They are also just covers as the original writer died a very long time ago.
Tommy johansson!! The one and only!!!
Yup
TJ is so multitalented. He plays bass and regular guitar, sings like an angel. Then also drums, keyboard and obviously banjo.
Awesome!! Love this dude!
Томми удивительно талантливый и прекрасный певец и музыкант! Спасибо за вашу реакцию!

How could you even ask? Of course we loved them all, it's Tommy! ❤
You're the best! But, you never know. There is actually a comment from someone who didn't. Like, at all.
@@DaneBramageROCKS Well that’s obviously someone with no taste at all or maybe a little jealousy…but we will ignore the ignorance. ❤️
Merlin is a character in the movie The Kingsmen 2 and he offer his life for the world in the movie ❤❤
The clip on the TV is playing that scene with merlin. Merlin is singing country roads in the movie while sacrifices him self
Excellent! Thank you.
I thought that was him on the screen, thank you!!
He is such a lovely person and a brilliant musician. He has a lot of fun och he brings us so much joy - but never at the cost of musical quality.

The drums is Aeroband, pocket drums 2, very cool.
Love the reaction, and it funny that Tommy always finds a way to surprise us 🎸🥁🎻
Excellent! Thank you.
Great reaction! Have you seen his cover of God gave rock n roll to You, his farewell to Sabaton?
That one is on the list!
Thanks for this reaction! It was a funny one. The two furst one was alot of humor and the last one he show a great respekt to the original. It was beautiful. 😂
Thank you so much and I totally agree! 🤘Keep on Rockin'🤘
“Country Road” has a huge presence in Sweden. It is a very popular song, I guess because we have a lot of country as well.
Awesome
Rednex is actually a Swedish group. But the original song was called Cotton Eyed Joe. Made by The Chieftains in 1981. Rednex made a version of it called Cotton Eye Joe.
Whoa!! Awesome, Thank you.
His latest cover of Texas Hold Em is also very funny. 😄
Thanks for your reaction!
Thank you
If you listen to his cover of Queen's Who wants to live forever. Then you get the same Freddie-vibe that you get in To much love will kill you.
oh sweet, OK!!
🌟 Tommy Johansson har svarat: ”Fiol kan jag faktiskt, jag har bara ingen hemma”
Nice. Thank you.
Pause the video when he clicks the buttons and read the labels 😄😄
In the beginning of the Cotton eye joe video
Oh goodness, Idiot Banjo, Idiot Guitar.....LOL. Dude is AWESOME
16:50 is one cool hint to Chris in Sabaton. He was do so with his finger when Tommy sings and he wants Tommy to raise his voice higher. 😅
OOhhhh!! Nice. Thanks for pointing that out!
Regarding his guitar strap...it's actually a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles themed one since Tommy loves that franchise...hence the pizza slice :D 🍕🐢
OH That makes sense. That is awesome, my favorite show/series/action figures when I was a kid as well.
Really cool reaction, Dane!
Thank you 🤘🏻
He covers Beyonce’s texas hold em entertaining 💙🥰
I saw that! Awesome.
Listen to Eric Grönwall and his version of i will alwyas love you

@@DaneBramageROCKS Those two movies are probably in my top 5 for viewing. Love them!
@@KaliFlamingo Excellent!! I'll have to check them out

Does he have his own songs?😡
Freddie was the best❤️
They have a band. Majestica

This song is a Brian May song.
Please, react to Gåte - Huldra
I'll take a look! Thank you
Bull Shit , he does know how to play da violin, theres no instrament he can't play , it's so obvious.
I believe that
Don't like covers exclusively, sends a poor message 1 cover every 3 or 4 albums is plenty. Plus this cant sing.
Did you just say that Tommy J can't sing?! Do you even own a pair of ears? 😮
To be each is our own. Thank you for your honesty and comment. I personally love Tommy but may not be for everyone. Cheers.
