I see so many comments in other videos in which fans are frustrated because they seem unable to recognize that Azirafale does love Crowley just as intensely as Crowley loves him. You can see it in his eyes every time he looks at Crowley. He looks ready to jump in Crowley’s arms any second. Just my opinion but Azirafale IS an Angel, and rather innocent when it comes to human feelings. I think he doesn’t know what to do with those feelings of love. He’s been smitten since the first time they met.
I completely agree, and I hope that comes through in my videos. They are so in love with each other; they’re just constantly talking past each other. Which is understandable given the 6000 years of subterfuge and coded conversations trying to keep each other safe. But people who think that Aziraphale was completely wrong and Crowley is the only one hurting haven’t been paying attention.

when good omens first appeared I was eager to watch it because I was smitten with David Tennant. but watching Michael Sheen after just a couple of episodes I was completely entranced with his characterization of aziraphale. And the two of them together are an absolute delight.
@lulu480 Really feel like Michael Sheen deserves more attention for portraying Aziraphale. A lesser actor would've turned Aziraphale into a silly caricature. The things Sheen conveys with his eyes alone are amazing.
@@catfancier270 absolutely! He’s such a versatile actor.The subtle expressions that cross his face at any given moment demonstrates his versatility as an actor. So now I’m smitten with both actors. The chemistry and enthusiasm these two actors bring to good omens is perfect.

Thank you! It’s one of my favorite parts of the video. It does double duty as both a reminder of how they started and a foil for the heartbreak of the final 15, making the scene even more painful. Which is not a thing I knew about myself- my love of angst- until season two and making these videos, but here we are. At least I’m in good company; why are we (Good Omens fans) like this?! 😭💔😭💔😂
@@MaxIneffability that’s exactly why I’m glad I found all this fandom. I can’t say that I’ve ever followed what fans say and do avidly ever. I always wonder what’s wrong with me that I can get so wrapped up in a series/stories. But finally, I find I’m not alone!
Nothing like starting your day with a good cry. Your videos are so beautiful. You choose the perfect scenes to show the love our demon and angel have for each other. I have never wanted two people to get back together more than I want it for these two. 😢❤
I do try really hard to make sure that the clips I choose help tell the story I’m trying to tell (heartbreak; uncertainty; being stupidly in love; etc), and every clip is intentional. It means a lot to hear that not only do other people see the story I’m trying to tell, but that the story I’m telling is one other people connect with as well. Thank you for your very kind words ❤️😊
@@MaxIneffability You're welcome. You do a very good job of showing their love for each other. What's weird is that I don't even like romances, never have. But these two have embedded themselves so deep in my heart. And I know there's so much more to them than the romance. They have a very deep connection, they're best friends who have been through so much together. And that's what will help them get back together. I believe that.

Assuming Crowley remains in Soho, and given that he has attracted the sympathy of the "local" humans (as well as Gabriele), how do you think this motley crew will react when Aziraphale reappears in their lives? 🤔
Nina and Ms. Sandwich will tear into him; Maggie will welcome him back with open arms; Muriel will try to be the peacekeeper; Mr. Brown (of Brown’s World of Carpets) will want to sass him for not filing the proper paperwork with the Shopkeepers Association regarding a change in management of the bookshop, but he’s been laboring under the idea that Crowley must have done something nefarious to Mr. Fell, and he doesn’t think it’s safe to cross Crowley, so he’ll just pretend neither of them exist. Justine has been too busy to notice much has been amiss; the music guy just tries to stay out of everyone’s way; Mutt has it all figured out, but he has dinner plans with Andrew, so he’s just going to let them all sort it out.
