- Nearly four decades since the last time they starred together, Robert Redford and Jane Fonda are reuniting for the Netflix film “Our Souls at Night.” Redford tells TODAY’s Matt Lauer that working with Fonda was “easy” because they’ve made so many films together, such as “Barefoot in the Park,” which he says was made in a more innocent time. He also says “The Sting” is “one of the finest made films I’ve seen.”

Redford is another example of how one person can touch so many things in positive ways. Like Jane Fonda, he is a lite shining through.
Redford is a class act. The man interviewing him needs to work on his interviewing skills. Some awkward moments that Redford pulls back from the brink.

Not many actors today have the powerful screen presence and charisma that Robert Redford has. Also the way that he looked at his leading ladies who appeared with him on screen was truly magical.

Loved this movie. Watched it twice and the second time was even better. I didn't notice before how incredibly talented Ian Armitage was in his role of her grandson. I think I was so focussed on Robert and Jane that I didn't pay enough attention to the other characters. Ian deserved an award for his portrayal.

Barefoot in the Park is great. But so is Electric Horseman. One of the most underrated westerns ever made, IMO. Can't wait to see this one.

I was born in '63. Ouch. And I can understand the laughter changing. The innocence had ended, King Arthur was dead, the fairy tale was over. Camelot had fallen. No one likes to have their fairy tale destroyed.

This is one of those movies you wish you were a better person, so you'd actually go see it, but you put it off and don't, but this is Jane and Robert. I WILL SEE THIS ONE.

This one my favour movies, Our Souls At Night. I am in my early 80s born same as Jane. Widowed 2and half years ago. I still have intimate feelings and in good shape acording to my daughter. This senario intregues me. Dont tell my daughter. Redford and Jane are so great together. Thank goodness daughter game Netflix for Christmas
