I was just like many others, thinking that the community will ruin their levels with the new camera triggers, but it turned out to be one of my favourite features! So awesome to see what everyone is currently creating and thanks Wulzy for showing how the triggers actually work!
I still don't get how people were concerned about the camera controls. The exact same thing happened with moving objects in 2.0. People thought they would be abused and would ruin the game, and then they didn't because who could have guess, obnoxious moving objects aren't fun to play and creator don't like making un fun things
Something I really like about 2.2 is that all of the sliders (don't be that guy that points out the 1 slider i'm forgetting) have limit but the text field doesn't, it kinda acts more like a guide on whats to far but lets you still go further if you really want to. Now I do realize that when mega hack comes out (well out of alpha) none of this would matter but I still think its nice to work like this by default.
Quick tip: Most new triggers that change positioning (e.g. Offset Camera) They use set position, not move position. So when you change your cameras position to 250, 50, you would not do -250, -50, you would just set it to 0, 0 (im not good at explaining)
Just gonna mention this here, if you want to use fixed camera PLEASE make sure it works on 4:3 screens, there's already a few platformer levels with offscreen gameplay on 4:3 devices because the creators didn't check for this
some of my favorite stuff to do with camera trigger is to just, switch where the camera is every single frame, so it basically looks like everything gets copied twice over
i dont suppose you know why a touch-triggered static camera trigger just doesnt work when you hit it, would you? because ive been trying to work on a neat transition in a level that starts with a static cam, stops the static and rotates so the camera rotates and follows the cube, into another static cam after the rotation, but the final static cam just doesnt work (worth noting it works in the editor just not in the actual level)
I have a problem, I put 1 rotate trigger somewhere, and it works, then I put a second trigger behind it(upside down gameplay) it rotates the camera before I touch it, I don't know how to fix it

wulzy use the event trigger, you can map every button like jetpack going up or down and cube jump and make crazy stuff
The daily uploads where you figure out how stuff works the hard way is actually a great way to learn the new editor features

Ignore Damage option is bugged, you can die with almost anything except spikes and saws.

i learned something new, ignore damage only works for spikes now, when you hit a regular block in classic mode with ignore damage you die.
To remove static trigger effect. Add another static camera trigger add activate “exit instant” set the duration to zero.

2:34 I dont know why but in 2.2 blocks can kill you even if you have ignore damage on, not spikes or anything else. just blocks it's really weird
Also when you have "preview mode" or "hide invisible" off you sometimes still can't see invisible blocks.

Try making a "touch triggered" spawn trigger attached to the exit static trigger
