Being honest, I've had the dub versions of this, on the classic Fatman vs Shaka dub LP, and never knew the vocal echo stabs were Hortense Ellis! First time I'm hearing the vocal... This is the beautiful thing about reggae and dub, the discovering of old music, new to my ears, and the subsequent hunting down music and deciphering the specific history to these music...

Not heard this version- I don't think it stands up next to the early 70s cut of it produced by Jimmy Radway to be honest ...it just doesn't have the emotion in it .. Decent dub though .
