Thank you for this real video. But what made him die was overbreeding in a PUPPY MILL which has caused birth defects. Please speak out against that puppy mill owner (who is known for this unscrupulous behaviour, you would’ve seen that on Google). In Chai’s legacy please speak out against this “breeder” and encourage your friends who have gotten dogs from them to do the same. Think about the other dogs, the parents, NAME AND SHAME the breeder and use your platform to get them shut down. They are deliberately registered in Wales to bypass Lucy’s Law and the woman knows exactly what she’s doing. Chai may save thousands of other dogs with this awareness and you could turn this into something good. I’m sorry you got conned and heartbroken in the process x
I totally agree. I’m so so sorry you guys have had to go through this, it’s so heartbreaking, but I would strongly recommend you do some research on overbreeding and how it causes birth defects in skulls/brains and please use your platform/huge social media following to educate other people on this. Sending lots of love xx
I completely agree with you this world is so cruel what’s it gonna take to make people realize she’s human to and has a heart honestly sickening to see
Can clearly see how devastated they both are. She continuously has to explain anything she does or something that has happened. It’s so sad. She can never get a break.
@morgan x no. At the early stages of the video u can clearly see her pouting trying to put on a face when tom was speaking. Shes up set with the backlash shes rightfully getting online. Its damaging her brand and she knows it. It's a completely fake life made to sell the masses shit for there gain by using a person's esteem.
He wasn't a very healthy baby...bless him, so sad. Terrible that the blame is being put on Tommy and Molly... he was a poorly baby, they did nothing wrong
It’s devastating when a pet dies and they must be so so sad. I remember sobbing when I lost my pet to old age. However, they got their dog from a puppy mill where they treat the dogs poorly and breed them in ways where they look cute but are severely ill as a result, then promoted the brand to their audience. Everyone knows to adopt not shop, and especially don’t shop from a puppy mill in Russia. A quick google search shows that it’s a horrible thing to do. I’m sure they didn’t knowingly adopt him knowing he was ill, but they should have looked into the brand they were buying from, and not promoted it to their audience
@@rocace6635 also, whilst the “adopt not shop” mentality is obviously lovely, adopting dogs isn’t always the best thing for people to do. Puppy farms are horrid and no one should ever get a dog from one of those, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with getting a dog from a breeder. Rescue dogs are great, but they’re just not for everyone. Getting a puppy is absolutely fine too.
PLEASE contact the breeder and tell them about what happened! If this is the case for mr chai it’s very likely others in the litter will be the same. The information needs to be passed on to the other owners and the breeder. Sending you love 💕
Please correct me if I’m wrong as I’m not 100% in all of this. But doesn’t “Lucy’s Law” prevent third party deals on the sale of puppies and kittens? E.G - if the dog is under 6 months old, you cannot buy the dog from a 3rd party (online seller, pet shop, etc) it must be directly from the breeder only? The lady who sorted the dog out for them was not the breeder of the dog so how is she able to sell them?
Ryan Ftw She rents a barn in Wales and is registered there, that’s how she gets around it as Lucy’s Law is only applicable in England. Very very clever and cruel practise behind the scenes.
If you’ve ever lost a dog, whether you’ve had it for 10 days or 10 years, you will KNOW the pain from losing it. Tommy and Molly, I pray you find the strength to get through this 💕💕
“we don’t deserve sympathy”- that’s heartbreaking💔 if course you two deserve sympathy it’s horrible losing a pet, you clearly loved your dog and had the kindest intentions. i admire your candidness especially because you know how critical people are going to be online xx
Duke Ellington that is so insensitive of u to say like they explained what happened in this video and it clearly wasn’t their fault and they do deserve sympathy it is such a horrible thing for a person to go through and don’t act like u never made a mistake in ur life don’t be so disrespectful and think before u say something next time
I'm a vet and I commend you guys for being open about this. I understand getting a puppy. I bought a kitten, cus there is a lower risk of behavioral issues. I think you guys do deserve sympathy. This is an aweful situation. You guys sharing this will help others. People arent aware that these toy breeds are more proned to having issues with the shape and size of their skull, and now they can be.
stuart dressel no defo not the puppy was born with these problems, puppy’s aren’t like baby’s when a baby is born it goes gets checked that doesn’t happen with dogs ! If molly and tommy picked a diffrent dog from the litter and got it sent over from Russia this wouldn’t of happen it was just unfortunate that the poor baby was ill from when it was born like Tommy and molly said mr chai was going to die regardless! So sad ❤️❤️
Yes they can have problems because people breed designer dogs regarding their health just so someone can have a puppy that looks cute. I don’t think ppl should judge a book by its cover so why judge a dog by the way it looks? Dogs would never judge us in the same way that we judge them.
molly mae and tommy fury deserve 0 sympathy for the death of their pup. if they genuinely cared about their dogs welfare they wouldn’t have got a pup imported from a RUSSIAN puppy mil so they could gain a couple thousand likes and use their designer dog as a fashion accessoryWoozy faceWoozy face
You can turn this tragedy around and raise awareness of the suffering these dogs go through when in-bred and why you must boycott puppy mills. please please do the right thing xxx
mia jeffery that is such an insensitive and disrespectful thing to say and did u not watch the video? they literally explained that he would have passed in russia or in their home so i suggest u take this comment elsewhere and think before u speak
Alexandra Sheehan , I’m afraid it’s not insensitive , it’s real life and the truth , why esle would u order a puppy from Russia and put it through all that stress , it’s clearly bcos people are so desperate to have this particular type of dog to uphold their image as if it was an object that’s what’s disrespectful to it’s life , I’m sure they didn’t realise what they were doing but people should educate themselves beforehand
I think it’s sad that molly keeps saying she doesn’t deserve sympathy, they both do. What a tragic thing to happen. Sorry but an animal dying is an immense loss, and yea the circumstances aren’t great but people should have show more compassion and less judgment. Hope you guys heal soon xxx
I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to have to deal with the grief of loosing a dog, and still having to deal with the explosion of abuse and unnecessary comments in a truly horrible time. I just want to send lots of hugs and to say again how sorry I am for you loosing you're beautiful new puppy xx
sending you guys so much love. we're all humans. on one earth. all trying our absolute best with where we are. that's it. please be compassionate to EVERYONE. no matter where they're at. please xx
The breeder is Tiffany Chihuahua and this is not the first time they have done this as you can see from the information on this facebook profile facebook.com/profile.php?id=100008152538782
I never comment on youtube, and I’m generally “anti-influencer culture”... but I’m compelled to say that I really appreciate your content. You are so open, and so rational. From talking openly about how you edit your photos, to your comments about filler, to your openness about this issue. You transparency is commendable, and as far as influencers go, I think you’re a good role model for young girls who see so much questionable/disingenuous content on IG x
I completely agree. I sometimes can't believe Molly is 21, she is so rational, mature and level headed, I'd be very proud if she were my daughter. Tommy is also a very down to earth, nice guy and I really like them as a couple.
The problem is supply and demand. You shouldn't ever give money to puppy mills, even if it will save a puppy. The only way you can stop them as a consumer is by taking your money elsewhere. It's horrifically sad but you aren't just rescuing one dog, you're dooming hundreds more to the same fate by supporting the industry and creating incentive for the breeders to breed more.
They have been duped by a puppy farmer, Tiffany Chihuahua. Not the first time they have done this. They sold a dog with a broken leg to this person facebook.com/profile.php?id=100008152538782
It makes me so sad that you have to sit there and explain yourselves as to why he passed away. This is a very sad time for you both & your probably not in the right frame of mind at the moment, it’s just sickening that so many people are blaming you both for his passing. It was something out of both of your controls that you couldn’t do anything about. Why do people still feel the need to do judge others and assume the worst or make things up!! I’m so sorry for your loss 🐶 big hugs to you both & lots of love 💕 RIP Chai xxx
lyxia xo exactly, and there is no need, you saw how much tommy and molly loved chai, and they most definitely don’t need to go out of there way to explain , they should have taken some time like molly said they would, but no. People are needy and nasty.
Can someone please tell me why this lovely lovely girl gets hate for getting a dog that she has always wanted.....chai's passing has nothing to do with molly and tommy its because he was unwell so can everyone just keep their opinions to themselves and leave molly and tommy alone about a little mistake they made❤love you guys
Robin dickson watch the video and then say this.. they have already stated that the dog would’ve passed away around this time regardless of travelling or not.
Amy Nugent so what even if the dog hadnt died putting it through unecessary travel stress is still okay regardless?? stress can have such a profound impact on a dog, that is why rescue dogs that have been through abuse often have behavioural issues- because of stress. Dont downplay a dog being put through discomfort just because that wasnt the direct cause of death, regardless its abuse and if u think otherwise i hope to god you dont own a dog
@@aimeeconnacher7650 if you listen to molly in the video she said chai would of past around this time regardless of the travelling as his brain didnt form properly thats all im saying
@@Lucy-ly6kz she's a rich white girl. Her life is so easy. I bet she's run for her life if she was offered to be a black man in America. Fucking prejudice 😂
you guys just need to take this moment to raise awareness for puppy farming. turn the death of your beloved dog into something with a worthy cause to support. im sorry over your loss..animals are a gift to us all and it is heartbreaking when we lose them.
The difficulty is: it's a genetic problem with Pomeranians in general. Even ethically-bred Pomeranians have birth defects, because they have been through five centuries-worth of inbreeding. So that makes it even harder to build a case against one particular breeder. At the end of the day, the entire breed is unhealthy. So - we either let the breed go extinct, or breed them with other dogs so that they are genetically stronger. So, what I'm saying is that puppy farming will always exist, so long as pure breeds are desirable. It's the same situation for many breeds.
T H A T• G I R L tbh I’m sure that if u passed away at any point during this they will probably just blame it on corona. Everyone has to admit that they haven’t witnessed anyone with corona so I think it’s all bollocks.
So tragic that Chai passed so young. I urge everyone to look at 'Lucy's Law' - the seller which Chai was bought from is a third-party seller (tiffany_puppies) of puppies, basically shipping in puppies to sell them on to buyers in the UK and subjecting them to immensely stressful plane journeys even with layovers in different countries. This is illegal in the UK - the law bans anyone from purchasing from third-party sellers and they must go directly to the breeders so I'm not sure how tiffany_puppies/tiffany_chihuahuas is still in business, perhaps they've found a loophole in the law however this is still highly unethical practice! Puppies like Chai are most likely a result of inbreeding to create the most 'perfect looking dog' and so is so much more susceptible to health issues.
Exactly! sorry but naw importing this tiny puppy from Russia on a long plane journey is so cruel and unecessary! i dont care what anyone has to say about this you cannot deny that the dog must have suffered from some degree of unecessary stress
Mr Chai had the best few days of his life and we could see that you treated him with nothing but tender loving care ❤️❤️ It was never your fault and it was going to happen anyway so at least he had the best people to spoil him before his passing ❤️❤️❤️ Please don’t blame yourself no matter what anyone else says ❤️💙💚🕊😇🙏
The fact that SO many people used the same breeder should have been a big red flag! If this was a reputable breeder they might have a litter per year AT MOST. Someone who churns out pups like that is a puppy farm 😓 So sorry that you guys have had to learn the hard way and a dog had to die. Hopefully you can use your platform to campaign against puppy farms so this never has to happen again. I have a rescue dog and he is wonderful with my kids, you can get pups from a rescue centre as well as certain breeds. Hope you can use this pain to do some good ❤

stephanie drewett stfu what are u on about like u say it’s their fault it’s not it’s not chais fault he didn’t develop properly it’s not there’s
The fact that you guys have to defend yourselves while you’re grieving... I’m so sorry. Prayers sent for you because I cannot imagine my babies dying. Love being sent to you 💓
Yes some are being nasty and harsh about it which is unfair and counterproductive as you can see how upset they are about the situation. However most people are saying to turn this this horrible experience around and to not fund places that breed dogs that are destined to die. There’s plenty of cute lovely amazing dogs out there that are in desperate need of homes, some of which are puppies. With such a big platform this could let Mr Chai’s legacy live on by teaching their followers to do research and adopt don’t shop 😊
They're obviously so devastated and seem to understand they've made a few mistakes, but I just wish they fully acknowledged that the breeder they chose was not a good breeder and people shouldn't buy from them. It seems like they didn't really make the connection between the poor pup's skull being malformed and the breeder - malformed skulls are such a common health problem with these badly bred tiny dogs :( Of course the dog did not die because of their actions, but it did die because of the breeding situation it came from, and that needs to be made clear. It's frustrating because the callous tweets they got accusing them of killing their dog overshadowed what the main point of this should be
Fletcher Kirwan That’s mean animal lovers like me this is hard you probs aren’t a dog lover so stop acting like you don’t care SO STOP 🛑 and think about what your saying!! 🌈
Dazzling_Georgia I agreee, fletcher Kirwan you are such an insensitive person and I feel sorry for your parents having raised such a disgraceful daughter
I am so sorry for your loss . forget what everyone else is saying and stay strong . love you lots and hate to see you this heartbroken things will get better I promise. chai must of had the best last days of his life that anyone could have asked for. R.I.P chai you were the cutest dog ever and will be missed and forever remembered
Francesca Rossi he will deffo be missed, he was the cutest 🥺. And I agree with you, forget what everyone else is saying. Block the haters, the haters gonna hate no matter what. Love you molly mae and Tommy ❤️
I watched this with tears in my eyes throughout the whole thing,.. you can clearly see how adored that dog. They’re 21 year old humans who make mistakes like everyone else.
Well finally people can stop trying to argue that the dog could be a rescue or from an ethical breeder. "Licensed breeder" doesn't mean anything. In the UK it means something (but not much), but I'll bet in Russia it means absolutely nothing. Often countries require you to register with your local council or equivalent if you breed a certain number of litters per year, but this is not an indication of how ethical the breeder is. Key signs that this is a puppy mill operation: The page boasts about having 30 "deliveries" planned in the next 2 weeks. This is clearly a large-scale operation - imagine how many dogs must be involved to be able to meet that level of demand. This is absolutely not how any ethical breeder operates. They seem to offer multiple breeds, e.g. Chihuahuas, also in "teacup" sizes. I don't really need to explain the horrible ethics behind breeding 'teacup' breeds - plenty of info out there online. Notice how there's no pictures of the living conditions or where the puppies grow up - just pictures of the puppies themselves I mean, the whole page should be a red flag with anyone with a bit of critical thinking. Apparently the only barrier to getting a dog here is just to DM them and pay thousands - nothing like the vetting process lots of ethical breeders make you go through to ensure the puppy is going to a good home.
after leaving my dog, my best friend, with the vet for an operation with the hope and promise that we would get him back the next morning, and then receiving a call that he had stopped breathing, two years ago, i understand what you are going through, and the fact that you have to sit there and explain, because people speak before they think and don’t care to maybe think about what they are actually saying is absolutely horrible. However from my experience i also know that it takes time but you will get better, so i am sending you lots of strength and love and all the best for you ❤️
You guys (molly in particular) are constantly judged and hounded by the media and public. It is so unfair. Of course there are better options to go about getting a dog but you are young and human and will be excited and want the perfect puppy to start a little family. I feel for you both. He was absolutely beautiful and it’s clear to see he was not an accessory. Hopefully you get a break soon 🤍 rip mr chai ☁️
the puppy was imported from a PUPPY MILL IN RUSSIA where conditions are inhumane and unethical. buying from puppy mills supports the breading of dogs that will suffer health issues for the rest of their lives just to appeal for an owners AESTHETIC. They 100% deserve the backlash
If you live/post your life on youtube your going to get judged, if you cant handle it live your life out of the limelight, it's not forced it's a choice.
I can’t believe how rude people are being! They are clearly very upset and people saying that they killed him is crazy! They are both wonderful people and it is not their fault........I’m shocked at the haters!!!
Kinda I mean the puppy was probably from a puppy mill and the whole breed in general is really prone to health condition and inbreeding I understand It was hard for them but this wasnt a smart or informed decision especially to do it on such a public platform
Molly, I've got a puppy, I've had her for almost 2 months, she's 15 weeks and she is my whole world. My entire heart goes out to you and Tommy, I can't even imagine what you are going through. Dogs are our best friends. I'm so sorry for your loss, nothing will ever replace him and I hope that you will both be ok.
As horrible as this is to say, this was a blessing in disguise. A high profile couple like Molly and Tommy are now going to be able to raise so much awareness and put a stop to 3rd party breeders!!!
Lucy’s Las should be stopping their party breeders, how is the lady who sorted the sale of Mr Chai allowed to sell the dogs when she isn’t the breeder and doesn’t own the mother of him?????
Ryan Ftw She registers herself in Wales to get around Lucy’s Law which is only applicable in England. These puppy farm resellers are honestly very clever criminals using all loopholes available to them. It’s vile.
i hope you’re feeling ok guys. ily both and it’s going to be ok. i’ve had many pets pass away and it was really dark time when they did. i hope you’re ok though! 🥺💕
i completely sympathise with you and i don’t believe you’ve done this intentionally and you’ve gone off what you believed was best. it just highlights the importance of reputable breeders and not overbreeding. i hope others will see what can happen and they should always get kennel club assured dogs.
I think people should focus on reporting the breeder (tiffany's puppies) to local authorities/RSPCA etc rather than coming for Tommy and Molly anymore who have now admitted their mistake. This breeder needs to get shut down.
ELALA B i totally agree with you. i wasn’t commenting to have a go at tommy and molly in the slightest. i think if anything (as horrible as it is for them to have gone through) them speaking out about it will help others to not do the same and think where they are getting dogs from
Dog breeding is not encouraged, however people do it and they have acknowledged that their decision was not the best. It is kind of them to share their story while they are still grieving and with everything going on at the moment we should be kind to them and each other and learn from the mistakes they have highlighted in this video. Wish them all the best xx
You should never buy a puppy without seeing where it was bred and meeting the mother in person and any breeder that is willing to ship a dog without having vetted the owners is not reputable. It's really common for milled puppies in Eastern Europe to be brought in on the pet passport by people who claim they're just bringing their dog to live with them, then they'll sell their dog for insane amounts of money. It's just completely unethical to buy a dog without knowing with 100% certainty how it was raised, how its parents were raised, how old it is (quite common to sell 4-6-week-old puppies because they're cuter but it's illegal for dogs to be issued a pet passport before 12 weeks), whether or not it has vaccines or a proper chip, if it has any medical problems, if the parents have been health screened, etc. I'm sure Tommy, Molly-Mae and Belle all thought they were buying from a reputable breeder, but there are Poms aplenty in the UK, so there's really no logical reason (particularly for people who are not exactly financially stretched) to get one from abroad. I really hope they realise their mistake and discourage others from copying them. The appeal of mills is how quickly you get a dog and that's the trap people fall into. A lot of reputable breeders have wait lists, every puppy they breed has a home before it's born (although it's possible for people to drop out, so an available puppy isn't necessarily a sign of a bad breeder). It's always worth waiting to get a dog when you will know with certainty it wasn't produced through cruelty. Milled breeding bitches are literally bred to death, they spend their entire adult lives pregnant or nursing until the physical strain or disease related to squalid conditions kills them. The puppies are cleaned up and photographed or filmed in a clean show home, but that's not where they're being raised and a lot of them will be sickly as a result of their environment or have genetic disorders as a result of their parents not being screened. It's absolutely horrific.
bubblegum milkshake look all they wanted was the best for that dog and by the sound and looks of it they did like molly said “we are not animal killers” and they are not. Just think about their side of the story for a second
bubblegum milkshake you clearly spent a long time writing that. and you clearly haven’t watched the video. the puppy was 16 and a half weeks old. their friends had also bought puppies from the breeder, and theirs are fine, hence why tommy and molly brought their dog from there... puppy mills are disgusting and i highly doubt that animals lovers, like tommy and molly said they were, would never buy a dog from one .
I'm so sorry for you guys. Losing a dog is one of the most horrible things that can happen. You are allowed to feel pain and you are allowed to mourn him in whatever way you need. Don't feel bad for the people who don't understand that. there are always gonna be haters, but your heart is the right place. You're such amazing people and I hope you can get over these and allow yourself to mourn.
As heart breaking as it is, this is the result of extreme inbreeding!! These type of dogs literally have no expected life span because of how deformed they are. It's disgusting. Please use your platform to encourage people to go to shelters and educate themselves on dog breeders 🙌
Yeah I was just thinking about how the breeder must have known, he must have been checked by vets, Molly and Tommy were probably scammed. It’s so horrible.
This dog has probably come from a puppy mill or a large breeding organisation and so this is the breeders fault and the deformities should have been noticed before the dog got sold I feel so bad for them because it’s not there fault at all and they have been affected by this even tho the dog was always going to die
@@lilyhardy7609 it partly is their fault as their were okay with the dog travelling by himself overseas which is inhumane and didn't do a thorough research on the breeder, however, that's why she made this video and took accountability.
They're just miserable, jealous people who are looking for something/someone to complain about. It's ridiculous, expecting influencers to be 100% faultless and politically correct at every moment. And these are the same people that will complain about influencers being "fake". Well, of course they'll be fake if people keep making demands of them to be perfect beyond human capability.
molly and tommy, i’m so sorry this has happened to you. you both deserve nothing but happiness and i know 100% that mr chai was cared for and loved for all the time he was with you. i wish you both the best!! xx
I feel so bad for them, I’ve had 3 dogs pass away, one passed because of something unexpected like this and I currently have a 6 month old puppy and I couldn’t imagine loosing him, loosing a pet to me is just like loosing a family member as I think others would agree🥺🥺
Hey, I know this was a very long time ago but I'm binge watching your channel relaxing at home for the day.. This is absolutely heart breaking, bless you both. One thing that shines through is how sweet, kind hearted and loving ingredients you both are as a couple and individuals. I am so hurt for you thinking about how hard it must have been not only losing your precious puppy but to then get judged by complete strangers. Take no notice, especially you Mollie, you obviously wear your heart on your sleeve, stay as you are keep shining xx
The breeder absolutely would’ve known and is known in Cheshire already for her dodgy puppy dealing. She is registered now in Wales to bypass Lucy’s Law and sell puppies, as many as she wants, from god knows where. It needs to stop.
@@daniellecluett5560 it baffles me that molly and tommy didn't put the effort into research the breeder. if you google her name, there are court cases with her because of irresponsible breeding. feel sorry for them and i hope they'll consider adopting or buying from checked breeders in the uk.
xD :3 yeah, you should always look on registered websites like kennel club for registered breeders to make sure they’re safe. also if they don’t provide a health history (you should do some of your own research into illnesses for specific breeds) for many generations of its family, and if they don’t i wouldn’t get involved with them.
Imagine losing your dog and then also having to explain to the world that you didn’t kill the dog... I’m so sorry for your loss! Losing a pet is awful - sending you both love ❤️
Some of the people nitpicking at Molly and Tommy's lives are the sort that preach mental health and supporting people, yet they still feel the need to have an unnecessary opinion on them. I have so much sympathy for these two because like many other influencers, they get ridiculed and attacked. I understand the whole idea of them putting themselves in the spotlight but people need to have compassion, these are just two regular people realistically. People need to be more compassionate and actually practice some of the things they preach. And you'd think in the world in the current situations, people would be more caring for one another. Sending so much love and support to Molly and Tommy at this time.
I can literally feel your pain through this video, it had me in tears. It’s frustrating that you have to explain yourself while you’re busy mourning your dogs death. Take comfort in knowing that you gave him the best last days of his life and that he felt so so loved. My deepest condolences ❤️
Really not too sure what’s gone on behind the scenes to be honest, so if someone could tell me I’d appreciate it.. but before you maybe comment and say something awful about these young guys just remember the ‘be kind’ movement that only started 4 months ago, if that.. seems to have been forgotten very quickly and they both seem really really upset and devastated about what’s happened to their little dog.. it’s awful losing a pet, my German Shepard died back in March and I still miss my fluffy pal x
this is so heartbreaking💔i can’t imagine how tommy and molly both feel , and these comments hating and saying the most disrespectful and disgusting things. That’s something molly and tommy could never do they treated chai like there baby and all molly was doing is posting him on her insta like she always does cos technically that’s her job(to post her life) I get everyone has an opinion but if you know it shouldn’t be said don’t fucking say it👏🏼they don’t deserve it! are u in their position? no , do you know the entire story? um no soo if you are stop putting out false information. thankyou❤️x
Most likely in Russia it was a Brother and Sister that mated and had caused the dog to not fully develop and no white blood cells I think you should look into the breeder. R.I.P Chai 😔❤️ thoughts are with you guys.
My dog came from Spain, we rescued her but she still came to us all the way from Spain and lived to 13 years old. Puppies can travel and be fine, they didn’t know the puppy was ill. Some people are so cruel. Yes, they should have probably researched the Pomeranian breed as they’re known for certain illnesses. But it is a common heartbreaking mistake.
I'm so sorry you feel you have to explain this tragic event to people who are so quick to judge without knowing facts. Twitter can be a horrible place. Sending love to you both

Molly when you said “dogs know when they die” that hit me hard. My dog had cancer and was suffering so so much so our family made the decision to have him put down so that he wasn’t in pain anyone and the day we went to the vets to have him put down, he went around the room and hugged every member of our family as like a little goodbye and we’ve always been adamant that he knew what was about to happen and wanted to say goodbye so I absolutely agree that dogs do know when their time is up x
Yes this happened to my mam’s dog he had cancer at almost 15 years old..he woke one morning and just told my mam it was time to go..he did the same said goodbye to us all even my one year old grandson he placed his head on him 😭😭his name was billie and every day I miss him so much he was my fur brother blessings to you and yours 🙏🏻💞🏴
Im really late but I’m so sorry you went through loosing this poor baby, I lost 2 rabbits very close to each other and was devastated loosing a pet is always heartbreaking
Broke my heart, can’t deal with the fact they’ve had to come on here in tears to explain the loss of their puppy because people are disgusting over social media 😪

Thank you for sharing your heartfelt story about your puppy. Your love for animals just oozes out in your video. Short as it maybe your puppy got 2 days of the best love and attention from you both before he went to doggy heaven. Big love ❤️
this is heartbreaking, me and my family adopted a puppy years ago and she died in the first week after we adopted her due to paleo virus as the place we got her didn’t vaccinate her properly. it was heartbreaking and people don’t think it would be as you didn’t spend long with the dog, but i’ve since adopted 2 dogs and every time they are a little bit off i assume the worst!! praying for you and hope you can get a new puppy as soon as you feel ready! :(
They're obviously so devastated and seem to understand they've made a few mistakes, but I just wish they fully acknowledged that the breeder they chose was not a good breeder and people shouldn't buy from them. It's frustrating because the callous tweets they got accusing them of killing their dog overshadowed what the main point of this should be
I’m so sorry for you loss molly and tommy stay strong he is in a better place he had the most wonderful time with use I love you and tommy so much stay strong ❤️❤️🥺💕🙏🏻
One good thing to come from this is the wake up call. More people will now hopefully think twice about buying into puppy mills. It needs to stop. The lady who sold this dog to you is breaking the law and more people need to raise awareness of puppy farming. I’m so sorry for you both xx
Losing a dog is horrible . I’m still in denial about my pup that I had for 15 years ! . You guys did nothing wrong . Bless you guys ! I hope that when you heal from this ordeal you will get a new dog and give him all the love ❤️
Despite there being so many things to be sad about in the world today, like George Floyd and the coronavirus pandemic, a puppy dying still feels as tragic as ever. R.I.P Chai / 2020 - 2020
I am so sorry for you loss. Losing an animal family member is absolutely heartbreaking, no matter how long they've been in your life. I know you are compassionate caring people, and I am not saying this to attack or blame you. With that being said, please learn from this experience and do your own research. Please don't just go along with what friends and celebrities do without using your own critical thinking skills. Mr. Chai came from a puppy mill. Puppy mills are horrific. They are breeding operations purely for profit. They'll breed as many dogs as they can and spend as little as possible on them for maximum profit. The result is horribly squalid living conditions, puppies born into a cage full of feces and urine. The parents aren't health screened, so they can carry genetic conditions as well as whatever illnesses they may be carrying from their conditions that could be passed on to puppies. Inbreeding is also incredibly common from ALL breeders, not just puppy mills, and inbreeding causes a whole spectrum of health conditions and illnesses. That is likely why Mr. Chai was so sick. Rescued breeding dogs from puppy farms often don't even know what grass is, they literally spend their entire lives pregnant or nursing. Being pregnant obviously takes a huge toll on your body, even more so if you're not being fed well and you're sick from living in filth. Please rescue next time. You can rescue a puppy if you really want a puppy. You can wait to get a puppy in a local adoption. It just won't be right now on demand. Please please please learn from this awful experience and adopt don't shop. Please denounce the breeder publicly and don't encourage others to buy dogs from them. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.
It’s Tiffany’s puppies on Instagram. I feel so bad for tommy and molly and as far as I’ve seen Tiffany’s puppies page hasn’t said a thing ! Hope you’re both okay xx
The breeder should never have sold someone a dog that had these issues, if they’re job is breeding puppies then they more than likely have seen many dogs die but selling someone a dog that was definitely going to die will affect people so much, seeing a pet die is horrifying. They should have had all these checks done on the puppy to make sure it was healthy. I feel terrible that people are being horrible to Tommy and molly when they are victims in this situation, I am fully confident that they treated this dog the best they could and I imagine they were the best dog parents they could be 💕
Hannah Mckendrick thing is, no ones job should be breeding, it’s disgusting. I’m not having a go at Molly, I’m annoyed that they bought from a puppy farm!
Firstly, a reputable breeder and a puppy farm are 2 very different things. Puppy farms do not care about the dog and they wouldn’t get vaccinations or anything. Good breeders get a vet to check their puppies’ eyes, ears, heart and other general health checks. The conditions the dog had would not have been detectable by the vet at that point. Many puppies with health conditions like this can go months without them being detected. There is no way a breeder can get all of their puppies from every litter x-rayed and blood tested as this would cost tens of thousands of pounds and wouldn’t be fair on the dog. The breeder did nothing wrong, these guys didn’t do anything wrong and the vet didn’t do anything wrong. It’s just an unfortunate circumstance.
Aww this is heart breaking I feel for molly and tommy people think they killed there own dog like that’s horrible and they did everything they could 😇❤️ May him rest in peace
my heart goes out to you both nobody deserves to go through this, rip sweet baby chai your life was so short but im sure you both gave him a great few days before his passing and he was loved !!!!!!
Honestly I’ve never come across any hate on them🤔 I just see people commenting about “hate they are getting”.... however they do not deserve it, they have been a real couple since day one.
this is why breeders are sick, and by creating this ‘designer dog’ it’s never fair on the dogs ever and it’s a form of abuse to me as the dog wouldn’t have these complications and it’s down to the inbreeding of them.
Yup and people will continue to do so to rip off overly wealthy greedy look at me people. Why not adopt an abused or elderly dog who just wants to live the rest of their life content and happy... oh yeah because they are living in a world where everything HAS to be and look perfect, really sad.
This is absolutely heart breaking and I can’t imagine how you are both feeling! At least he had all the love he could ever ask for in his last few day here! He’ll be forever grateful! Sending you both love!💖💖
This!!!
I totally agree. I’m so so sorry you guys have had to go through this, it’s so heartbreaking, but I would strongly recommend you do some research on overbreeding and how it causes birth defects in skulls/brains and please use your platform/huge social media following to educate other people on this. Sending lots of love xx

Can clearly see how devastated they both are. She continuously has to explain anything she does or something that has happened. It’s so sad. She can never get a break.
Georgina Johnston-Ward she probably just shouldn’t buy from a puppy farm then???
Just pure lies through out the whole video. If it's not a dodgy dog dealer and one her mates said get. Why not tell us
@morgan x no. At the early stages of the video u can clearly see her pouting trying to put on a face when tom was speaking. Shes up set with the backlash shes rightfully getting online. Its damaging her brand and she knows it. It's a completely fake life made to sell the masses shit for there gain by using a person's esteem.
@morgan x quiet obvious if you knew anything about marketing and psychology
@@Tom-el2tb lol "marketing and psychology" you actually believe your own shit 😂
@@rocace6635 it was a mistake, don't take it out on them
@@rocace6635 also, whilst the “adopt not shop” mentality is obviously lovely, adopting dogs isn’t always the best thing for people to do.
Yes!! This!!
The breeder is aware theres a post on they page i know chai had a sister so dont know where she is
The breeder is getting a lot of hate - her first case of puppy farming was in 2014 x please watch Olivia Atwood and Olivia Bowen’s story x
I completely agree ❤ broke my heart when she said that, she did nothing wrong bless her 😞
Well, no they really don't.
I agree of course you do. You’ve done nothing wrong. Ignore the twisted sad people that have nothing better to say. God bless.

You gave him a happy home and so much love with his short days in this world and that’s the best you can do.
This comment made me so emotional omg😭😭
I'm a vet and I commend you guys for being open about this. I understand getting a puppy. I bought a kitten, cus there is a lower risk of behavioral issues.
I think you guys do deserve sympathy. This is an aweful situation.
You guys sharing this will help others. People arent aware that these toy breeds are more proned to having issues with the shape and size of their skull, and now they can be.
Should/could those issues have been picked up in Russia? By breeder?
stuart dressel no defo not the puppy was born with these problems, puppy’s aren’t like baby’s when a baby is born it goes gets checked that doesn’t happen with dogs !
@@mini1dressel difficult to say. If the pup was normal before then possibly not. But it may have only become an issue as the puppy grew.

That’s literally so sad :( x
I think it’s sad that molly keeps saying she doesn’t deserve sympathy, they both do. What a tragic thing to happen. Sorry but an animal dying is an immense loss, and yea the circumstances aren’t great but people should have show more compassion and less judgment. Hope you guys heal soon xxx

This ^^^ top

Robin dickson watch the video and then say this.. they have already stated that the dog would’ve passed away around this time regardless of travelling or not.
Robin dickson don’t comment negative shit on someone’s video!!
Amy Nugent so what even if the dog hadnt died putting it through unecessary travel stress is still okay regardless?? stress can have such a profound impact on a dog, that is why rescue dogs that have been through abuse often have behavioural issues- because of stress. Dont downplay a dog being put through discomfort just because that wasnt the direct cause of death, regardless its abuse and if u think otherwise i hope to god you dont own a dog

you guys just need to take this moment to raise awareness for puppy farming. turn the death of your beloved dog into something with a worthy cause to support. im sorry over your loss..animals are a gift to us all and it is heartbreaking when we lose them.
That’s awful, even if it was a new dog it’s so upsetting that you weren’t able to make more memories with him. Stay strong ❤️
Give the poor girl a break! Shouldn’t even have to explain herself! RIP x
You should have a look on Reddit - they're having a field day, basically accusing Molly and Tommy of buying a vanity dog and killing it. 🙄
There’s ppl dying of corona virus...
T H A T• G I R L tbh I’m sure that if u passed away at any point during this they will probably just blame it on corona. Everyone has to admit that they haven’t witnessed anyone with corona so I think it’s all bollocks.
Anxg_el x It’s true my sister works for the NHS,one of her patients on a different ward died and they blamed it on corona even though it wasn’t.
Wooow there really are people out here whittling a virus that HAS caused deaths down to a “load of bollocks” because THEY haven’t witnessed it 🙄
this girl never catches a break....

Key signs that this is a puppy mill operation:
The page boasts about having 30 "deliveries" planned in the next 2 weeks.
Notice how there's no pictures of the living conditions or where the puppies grow up - just pictures of the puppies themselves
I mean, the whole page should be a red flag with anyone with a bit of critical thinking.
Hopefully you get a break soon 🤍 rip mr chai ☁️
more people should be like this 💕
honestly these two can’t do anything without getting hate. it’s so toxic
the puppy was imported from a PUPPY MILL IN RUSSIA where conditions are inhumane and unethical. buying from puppy mills supports the breading of dogs that will suffer health issues for the rest of their lives just to appeal for an owners AESTHETIC. They 100% deserve the backlash
tiny potato Don’t buy , adopt !

Purchasing a dog from a breeder is such a bad idea, there are millions of poor, and unloved dogs, why not make there life better.
Lucy’s Las should be stopping their party breeders, how is the lady who sorted the sale of Mr Chai allowed to sell the dogs when she isn’t the breeder and doesn’t own the mother of him?????
Ryan Ftw She registers herself in Wales to get around Lucy’s Law which is only applicable in England. These puppy farm resellers are honestly very clever criminals using all loopholes available to them. It’s vile.
Tbh I don’t think this will change shit
i hope you’re feeling ok guys. ily both and it’s going to be ok. i’ve had many pets pass away and it was really dark time when they did. i hope you’re ok though! 🥺💕
So sorry for your loss Molly❤️
Keep your head up and stay strong you’ve got Tommy x
i completely sympathise with you and i don’t believe you’ve done this intentionally and you’ve gone off what you believed was best. it just highlights the importance of reputable breeders and not overbreeding. i hope others will see what can happen and they should always get kennel club assured dogs.
She said he was a reputable breeder that loads of celebrities use....... such a shame for them.
luxurylover uk doesn’t necessarily mean it’s kennel club assured and standards are different in other countries!
Without breeding there wouldn’t be any dogs left
Aimee W SO TRUE 😂😂😂😂😂

Aoife Heaney finally someone who understands, well said 👏
Yeah I was just thinking about how the breeder must have known, he must have been checked by vets, Molly and Tommy were probably scammed. It’s so horrible.
This is why she’s made the video and you can clearly see she’s sorry. Chill out
This dog has probably come from a puppy mill or a large breeding organisation and so this is the breeders fault and the deformities should have been noticed before the dog got sold I feel so bad for them because it’s not there fault at all and they have been affected by this even tho the dog was always going to die
@@lilyhardy7609 it partly is their fault as their were okay with the dog travelling by himself overseas which is inhumane and didn't do a thorough research on the breeder, however, that's why she made this video and took accountability.
People who is saying it’s their fault is messed up in the head and need help honestly
It is their fault tho
They're just miserable, jealous people who are looking for something/someone to complain about. It's ridiculous, expecting influencers to be 100% faultless and politically correct at every moment. And these are the same people that will complain about influencers being "fake". Well, of course they'll be fake if people keep making demands of them to be perfect beyond human capability.

The breeder must’ve known about the condition chai had and if he/she did then it’s sick what some would do just to make money
Mini Me Exactly! she's also had a court case in the past. I just hope this all backfires on her company. Truly sick.
Do the breeders not get the puppies checked out when they’re born? I know they do here? Poor baby :(
The breeder absolutely would’ve known and is known in Cheshire already for her dodgy puppy dealing.

My puppy also died in the first week
Not because I’m not a retard
They're obviously so devastated and seem to understand they've made a few mistakes, but I just wish they fully acknowledged that the breeder they chose was not a good breeder and people shouldn't buy from them. It seems like they didn't really make the connection between the poor pup's skull being malformed and the breeder - malformed skulls are such a common health problem with these badly bred tiny dogs :(
Of course the dog did not die because of their actions, but it did die because of the breeding situation it came from, and that needs to be made clear.

😔😔😔
Could the breeder be sued for this or no
Not being mean but at the end of the day it wasnt the breeder fault the breeder would of hade no clue about that the poor puppy’s condition
@@miickiie97 There's nothing wrong with breeding, though. If it's healthy and ethical. A shady puppy farm is a different story.
Aww this is heart breaking I feel for molly and tommy people think they killed there own dog like that’s horrible and they did everything they could 😇❤️ May him rest in peace

I’d use her tears for lube
this is why breeders are sick, and by creating this ‘designer dog’ it’s never fair on the dogs ever and it’s a form of abuse to me as the dog wouldn’t have these complications and it’s down to the inbreeding of them.
Yup and people will continue to do so to rip off overly wealthy greedy look at me people. Why not adopt an abused or elderly dog who just wants to live the rest of their life content and happy... oh yeah because they are living in a world where everything HAS to be and look perfect, really sad.
