Ofc Xavi is an incredible manager people just don't realize the struggles of FC Barcelona and how Xavi transformed this team from complete misery... Even Klopp took many years to finally succeed with Liverpool. Xavi took Barca from 9th place to 2nd in first season and then destroyed Laliga in his first full season and won the title after 4 years. This year he lost Busquets and didn't get any replacement forcing him to play with no pure defensive midfielder at all (we don't count terrible and extremely cheap Romeu). And don't forget how many injuries he has to deal with... In my opinion he's one of the best managers in the world. 5 matches against Atlético and 5 wins for Xavi that's unheard of.

It has sense to play the guy and sell him first if you need money, and gave descent youngsters from laMasia, Lewandowski would be cheaper under contract after 35+(descending opt), what gave youngsters good example of work ethic. Those 2 assists, key passes show how unselfish and team oriented you can play! There's no point to loose all experienced player, especially in 2seasons (still in rebuild mode for Barça). Even if not in starting XI, he's amazed me playing off the ball!

As an avid Real Madrid fan this was an impressive win for Barcelona, to beat a good team like Atletico de Madrid.
Now RM is leading by 8 points over second place Barcelona with just 9 matches left to play for each team.
Then there is the Classico on April 21 which maybe a deciding factor in these standing and eventual La Liga championship winner.
Should be an exciting finish to the end and we fans are going to enjoy all the thrills.
Realistically though the odds are with Real Madrid and it is completely up to them to win or lose the La Liga championship this season.
If Real Madrid keeps on winning then Barcelona's hands are completely tied and helpless.
A very important fact....Real Madrid has so far have NOT lost a single match in La Liga for an unbelievable 23 straight and continuous matches. This will make it extremely difficult for Barcelona to catch up to their arch rivals.

I think it’s down to Cubarsi and Aurajo partnership. I thought Inino Martinez and Aurajo were great together but man Cubarsi has that speed, courage, timing, passing and reading of the game that is just world class at the age of 17. What annoys people about ESPN FC is yall aren't consistent with criticism nor excuses. Don't agree completely with Ale! I think since his announcement, Xavi has been more experimental as well, from playing Christensen as a defensive midfielder to throwing three 17-year-old lads from the start. Subconsciously, an announcement definitely helps. Imagine you are running a race and know that you are loosing intensity, but when you know the fact that end is near, it can make you push for that final gasp of motivation. I won't say that the turnaround is completely because of his announcement, but you can't also say that his announcement has nothing of an effect on the game or players!

Fermin Lopez is criminaly underrated for what he's doing in the midfield while Ter Stegen and Lewan have found their form again.
