an important message ... according to my view the external sensors are a better choice. Because they are easy to install you can do it on your own, secondly if the battery or the sensor goes bad you can change it own your own unlike in the internal one where you will have to take the tyre to a tyre shop to get it replaced.. i have even read that ppl face problem of air leak in the internal ones .. so better go for the external ones yes there are 2 major drawbacks one being a risk of theft second during filling the air ,the second one isnt a big issue the only problem is they have a risk of theft.

You cannot do it. There are apps - like TyreMarket - that give you the exact difference beetween the standard recommended tyre speed / distance and upgraded one. But you cannot reset your speedometers. I upgraded from 195/55/R16 to 195/60/R16 and the difference was 3.2 percent. ie when the speedometer shows my speed to be at 100 KMPH the actual speed would be 103+ !! The same applies for the distance travelled. However the experts don't recommend an up gradation of more than 3 percent difference - it 's bad for the suspension and overall handling of the vehicle at high speed .

If we run 20 km for example then we fill air in that condition it will show 1 or 2 psi then normal. U said fill 4 psi more than normal normal. In that case pressure will be high.

TPMS ke chakkar me mujhe tyre inflator Kharidna para kyon ki mera bhi flat ho gaya tha aur mai 500 meters 10-20 ke speed me chala ke le gaya. Mujhe yahi pata karna tha ki isse TPMS unit damage hota hai ki nahi. Thanks, this helps. Thankfully mera unit malfunction nahi kiya but aage se risk nahi loonga.
