How are you raised is very important. Chinese government spends their limited resource and concentrate to strengthen their art and science. Chinese have no choice but to work harder and diligently to survive.

The Chinese have been singing and dancing for ages, just like other peoples, and they have learned from Central Asians, Persians, Indians, Mongolians, Turks, etc., and more recently from Europeans. But Alexander's soldiers ended up settling in Central Asia, so there must have been some Greek influence from early on. What you see is Chinese only because the dancers are Chinese. The movements, the art of dancing, is universal.
Unfortunately, I don't think this is very "Chinese," or at least not very traditional. Some of their moves seem very European. Chinese classical dance usually tells a story. It is not as much about the moves as it is about the story. This seems to be a much more modern take on classical Chinese dance.
Dance is defined as move rhythmically to music. Those are the students dancing to the syllabus set up by the Beijing dance academy. You are right in one way. Acrobatic movement is only one of the elements. Chinese classical dance also incorporates martial art, traditional dance, acrobatic movement.
@Flower Kendall fool, you have Russian Ballet, French Ballet, Italian Ballet, etc. You also have various forms of Ballet systems created in the U.S. What is called Chinese classical dance, as it is presently construed, AGAIN-is nothing more than CHINESE BALLET. You may not like to hear that, for whatever petty, and emotional investment, but it is the truth, nonetheless.
