MBA for me too. Went to coachings for 2 years straight knowing stats and numbers aren't my strongest skill, my resume does not fit the requirements, had no relevant work experience, the syllabus for most b- schools made no sense except MBA in creative communication,design management strategy and media & entertainment and these courses aren't at most b-schools but at art, visual arts, design and music schools had these courses. The problem still remained stats and quant , mandatory and not my strength. Never had commerce in school. Despite stats, 14% people from humanities except economics and commerce in almost all b-schools in India. Most people i remember from school who took MBA were engineers or CA's. And most people i met during those years were BBA students. Despite friends working corporate jobs, telling me, they have quit their jobs because the work is not mentally stimulating and feels more mechanical and draining despite the pay, job satisfaction for most of them was fairly low. I still went around writing several exams , almost 30-40 over the duration of 2 years. Never went to any b-school and over covid lockdown, did nothing for sometime instead of throwing my hands and legs everywhere. After much introspection over my impusive actions, realised MBA , the job, the stress, the work ethics, corporate environment don't fit my skillset. I felt so incapable ,like i undermined my value and worth simply by choosing something i am not good at and aren't my strengths and i would eventually quit MBA. Before i write further, i failed at politics too, by just maybe a percentage.Applied for a masters twice! Despite that, wrote NET thrice, pre-requisite for Phd, in India. The only part of my subject i loved was feminism. It comes naturally. So i oftwn get this, you should try a Phd. Over the last few years spent time re-assessing my career goals, skillset. Money is important but don't chase it to a point where you loose all sensibility or rationality over your decisions. My parents are academicians, might have had their own vision of my future but not so relevant to my skills, strengths, interests which eventually showed in my performance.

I spent 5 lakhs for IIT- JEE coaching and got 94 percentile ...which is not enough for any good college. Finally joined ECE in a top college in bangalore and only ECE guys will understand the torture we go through . So don't ever tell MBA as a tough journey .....we sacrificed everything before and even during ECE engineering . Where no one has any idea on future career. No clarity bw IT and Core jobs and mentally get fucked looking at the overachieving CS guys and completely chilled Mech guys .

Recently experienced it...they taught m more of MBA in just 8 months than what i learnt in 2 years full time regular MBA
