Wow. I thought this was the movie poster at first, then realized it's Nathan. It looks amazing!

I was drawn to his short program music more because the entire program seemed more complete at Rostelecom Cup. But I re-watched his long program and I am liking this music more and more. That's not unusual for me. Sometimes it takes 2-3 competitions before I can be sold on music. The only music that I knew was perfect for a skater immediately was, "Lyra Angelica" for Michelle Kwan she debuted it at Skate America. Even though that was a great performance what she did with it at the Nationals took it to another level. I am hoping he skates well at Skate America this weekend so we can see the potential for this program and music. It does feel like music for the Olympics so that's a plus. I also applaud him for finding music in the short and long programs that hasn't been used by other skaters (to my knowledge) so he can definitely make it his own.

I love the Stravinsky portion! Also great recording as well! I actually got to perform the Rite of Spring two summers ago. It is a very intense piece and it is very difficult to play.

@@lenap319 the panicky parts are from the ballet The Rite of Spring. If you ever watched the first Fantasia Disney movie, it is the same music as the part with the dinosaurs. You should look up Rite of Spring Joffrey Ballet on UA-cam and watch it! It is definitely not your traditional ballet, but I really enjoy it.

What’s the ‘brush dance’ called? I can’t seem to find that ballet anywhere.
