what really sets wheein apart from all the other artists is her ability to draw out beauty from simplicity. she never resorts to shocking or gimmicky concepts/ promos, instead she chooses to stay true to her art & focuses on the messages she wants to convey. i really love her.

@@askurdad1814 it doesn't matter if a company is small. look Hwasa - Maria. the song has 230+ million views. it got more views than all songs of Mamamoo besides Hip. the song tick some specific boxes that need to be ticked = the hit formula. the masses like simple and catchy songs that have a cool dance. in a survey in America dance in Kpop is #1 that most people look at. #2 is rap, #3, is girl crush. r&b is 1 of the last places. for a song to have success on digitals and Internationally (which is where most streams come from) it needs to have a:
Repetitive chorus
Memorable dance
Memorable repeating sound
Easy chorus for i-fans
look Hwasa - Maria. it tick all the boxes. Mamamoo - Hip became an international hit. why? it ticks all the boxes. Blackpink have massive international fanbase. their songs tick all the boxes so they got a huge fanbase. since Blackpink have massive fanbase, when the members do solo obviously they will have massive following even if it's 10% the fanbase of Blackpink that listens their solo. 10% of their 70 million subscribers on youtube = 7 million. more than the subscribers of Mamamoo youtube channel.
@@askurdad1814 also, these days vocals are not important for the masses cause autotune fixes the vocals. all you need is a cool choreography. that's why the use of autotune has become so ridiculous now that even shows that claim it's live it's actually autotuned when it's showed on TV. this also apply to King of Masked Singer which is a competition show. if you watch these 2 videos you'll understand what i mean: Autotune in Kpop You Missed and R.I.P. Vocals in 2022 | Kpop Autotune vs Live Singing. this is the future, and the sad thing is that this crap is also happening to Mamamoo(whether group or solo) that can sing live without autotune. and it's not even their fault or decision. it's the decision of the shows they go too: Sketchbook, etc.
Wheein's voice melts me every single time. Doesn't matter what genre of music she delivers. Her vocal color is just so rich. I don't think I can fully describe it but her voice is just so soothing and pleasing. I just LOVE her voice and music delivery.
She and her whole team just keep slaying us with their art. I can't wait to listen to the whole album!

I have to say, Wheein sounds completely different in a very good good way! She went an extra extra mile on these songs and I do hope she gets a win and her album sales are high too. Please support her in voting, buying her album (if you can) and even just by watching her upcoming MV and streaming the single. She definitely deserves better recognition in this new album. Seeing how her artistry mature of the past years is something like a miracle to all of us.

Redd was good. It has more genre variety than this tbh, which means there will be at least 1 song to like. This is more ballad oriented r&b...if you don't like ballads then this isn't for you. Redd also had more Wheein participation in writing and composing. Wheein only wrote one song here. A bit disappointed that Ravi just basically gave Wheein his songs to sing.

I'm excited for this album. It looks like we got to experience whole different Wheein in here. It definitely sounds foreign for me, not something I used to hear from Wheein. Nevertheless, we will witness Whee deliver. And I'm also happy that she got to share us her own written song, I remember Byul saying Wheein can write songs fast but she had no chance to show it.
