Tales' Anthrocon 2019 Con Video

- I had a blast at Anthrocon this year, thanks to friends old and new, new and even old experiences from different perspectives, like suiting in the parade this time(12/10 worth it) and operating a camera on AV staff for main events!
So!
Here's a fun snapshot of my time this year. I wasn't able to record as much, as I was busy working some events, but it's still more than enough, and plenty left over to whip up into some other videos...eventually, oof. Back to work on BLFC's convideo, heh.

This video is just beyond words I can not explain how perfect everything is. 2:17 with those lights though is just so satisfying to watch. I'm so glad to have went to this con and can't help but smile at the videos of it.
Aw, thanks! Yeah, I was very lucky to have gotten that shot as well as I did, I'll be editing the spare footage and putting all that out eventually as well. I'm glad you were able to make it out to AC this year and happy to contribute to your memories of it!

Coming back to this vid after 3 years, AC2022 didn't quite have the same vibe. AC2019 just hit differently

The lowlight stuff with the fireworks was impressive. Was this all shot on one lens?
For the most part yep; Sigma 18-35 with a speedbooster and sometimes without, some with a 35mm T2, and others with a 16-35 I think? Not soo sure on the last lens, wasn't my camera.

How long does it take to edit such a video? Amazing job btw, even tho I am a bit late to the pary, I am just re-watching stuff :3
Depends on a buncha stuff (if preplanned, how much footage, free time), but around a month or more usually; I'm pretty slow, haha.

Stop wishing and start watching youtube tutorials! And if you need a program, I did this all on Davinci Resolve, which is free ^^

Just about any phone camera these days are pretty decent, action cameras or even older cameras/smartphones with cameras that have video capabilities. Editing is just putting the clips together in some particular fashion, maybe with music, maybe without depending on the kind of video you're trying to make!
