Try to watch slealth walker it's so good. Much thriller,much action pack and more romantic but it is not yet show the romantic action side but it's s superb drama. It has 4 episode now.

For a 24 episodes police thriller "The Burning River" is one of the few Chinese thrillers I truly enjoyed watching. Good editing makes this thriller fast moving and not dragging with only two major crimes involved. The rural surroundings and the unknown casts reflect good directing and good screen writing. Wish there are more of these thrillers to come from this talented team. Cheers.

A wonderful suspense with a hint of humanity inside - the kid was happier with his adopted parents and the captain also a mother who understand the pain of the kid who's left behind by the parents... Yet the police can only do so much...
I started watching this series because UA-cam suggested it to me. I didn't regret, it was so exciting from the beginning till the end and I enjoyed the beautiful ending song.
I feel Yuan xiaodong did the right thing by sending yang yang away, he looked way more happier with his adoptive parents. And even when his mom,Ren Jing said that she'll change after yang yang is back,she didn't she still went out to make money,poor kid

This drama has lessons in it. I'm hoping for season 2. I look forward for captain Lin's betterment. His father case is solved and she is now re-arranging her relationship with her son. I believe that she is hurrying to see her son at the last scene

He was thinking better for yang yang but sacrificed for nothing... Yang yang is being seen not happy... The boy xiandong lost everything in life.. This wouldn't be happened if captain lin wouldn't work hastily i guess. Even xiandong freed her at last but got killed in return. I just hope captain lin would be punished in cruel way just how xiandong felt in life to be feel how he was living. Hu yiting also didn't get justice In the end.
