I mean, very few ever make it to the absolute top, which seems to be your criterion. Hans is currently 21, not exactly young in chess terms, but still time to make a move up the ranks. He is obviously very motivated currently, which counts for a lot. In short, I'm not sure either, but I think I would be less surprised than you if he made a big move up.

I love Hans is playing!!!!!
If someone has the same question, i think after Nh5 there is Bxc6 bxc6 Nxe5 Bxf2 Kxf2 Qh5 with good position for black if white wants to snack a pawn.
Qh4, you mean.
Presumably Dominguez Resigned after White played Re8 attacking the Queen?
Not sure Hans will ever be top tier but he plays great games.
Niemann is #15 in the world. Dominguez is now #16. Both are top-flite players.
He’s already top tier . At least is you use objective criteria like rating .
@@michaelblankenau6598 Depends on your definition. He's won nothing and yes his rating is on the upgrade. Also I am clearly more elitest than some.

@@jonathandasilva5749He’s won nothing ? You might actually do some research before making that kind of statement.
