The pin is really cool. LOVE the bowls! Fun bookmarks. Wax seals are so fun! I used to have a set that was my Mom's. It had a lion for the seal, and I had red, green, gold and silver wax for it. I wonder what happened to that?! Fun pencil case. What an awesome looking book!!! That's gorgeous! The book sounds really good too! Wow, what an awesome box! The wax seal is my favorite!
I love the idea of reading the books that are based on the fandoms before we get the box- so clever! Many of these are on my TBR haha. I am adjusting to the cover - the stencils are gorgeous and I love them but I also love the original cover. I love the wax set! And the bookmarks.
Agreed. I’m glad I could see an unboxing first. While OC seriously killed it and the book on its own is amazing I prefer the standard design😢 I wish they had just done a color change and added foiling but kept the same design. They didn’t need to go a completely different direction especially since they were going to include stenciling. I mean if we were in the UK I’d be throwing a party because their cover is horrendous but the US cover is actually stunning so I’m going to have to pass on this box 😭
I got this box today! I was so pleased with it! It’s hard to pick a favorite because I love so many of the fandoms. I was pretty excited for the bookmarks though…I had never seen transparent ones! I like how thin they are too! I also really liked the bookmark/pencil case and the Rohan bowl! Purple is my favorite color, and it looks so good with gold! 💕
You are fast! I just got my box in the mail about 2 hours ago and you already have the unboxing up on your channel...! I enjoyed the box, though the items were mostly so so for me. I like that they are using different fandoms and was excited to see The Girl who Fell Beneath the Sea. I just wish it wasn't on the pencil tin. I want to say that's the 3rd tin like that they've made in the last couple years. One is nice, but how many can I really use...? I kind of like the bookmarks but it's really hard to see the designs, even in person. The bowl is definitely the high price item. I don't mind it, but I doubt I'll ever actually use them. I do kind of feel that at this point, they need at least one more so you can have a set of 6. I agree that Mordor does seem like a logical option for them. I do like the wax seal design, but again, we've had others from Owlcrate. If this was my first box from them, I'd be over the moon. As it isn't, I'm a little disappointed from all the hype up on it. That being said, I totally agree the book is gorgeous and I'm glad I got the box just for it. The cover change is really nice and I do like the stenciled edges. Here's hoping they do more! The goodies are fantastic and I would love to have those. However, the design of the book is not quite to my liking. In addition to the cover with the flowers, there is another cover that shows the protagonist directly and this is my personal favorite of the 3.
I know this is going to sound crazy almost a year from this posting , but anyone know where to get a replacement for the bowl in this box. My husband just broke it and it is seeming impossible to find.
