    Working for free is out of the question for us broke folks. Lol

      You are not wrong! It takes a certain amount of privilege to be able to work for free. However, having a filler job while you work for free at different places like churches, nonprofits, etc. you can gain quite a lot of experience that you can then use to beef up your resume. For example, Jason used to work for free as a volunteer with the Boy Scouts and with some local churches, even though he had a full-time position paying his salary. In his case, it wasn't for gaining experience, but to give back, yet the same could be applied to folks trying to gain additional experience. The volunteer work doesn't have to be full-time, even part-time can help you out!
