At this point I think they had already talked about splitting up, so when they asked about new music I was so curious how he was gonna handle that...

He lied when he said that before the Chariot, he didn't know how business with music worked back then...... Um, he was the frontman and founder of the band Norma Jean before The Chariot so I'm pretty damn sure he knew exactly how the music business worked. Bless the Martyr, Kiss the Child was Norma Jean's finest work by far.

Can I ask you opinion of Wrongdoers or even of Meridional then? Not saying you're wrong btw but I personally cannot get enough of Wrongdoers.

I'm afraid I haven't listened to those albums. I had stopped listening to Norma Jean when Josh left. So the only albums I listened to from them was Throwing Myself when they were called Luti-Kriss and Bless the Martyr, Kiss the Child. I dabbled a bit with O' God, the Aftermath, but that was pretty much it with my Norma Jean days :/

Understood. I sense you might have an allegiance with Josh mores than whatever project he is in and I can really dig that. I am the reverse in that I have only gone back as far as Redeemer so now 'cuz of talking to you I have some listening to do! Thanks man.

He could have been, and I assume he was, talking about the writing process he's had from the beginning of his career.

Having landed 1 record deal for 1 debut album versus 10 years with a signed band. Bless the Martyr would have been Norma Jean's first run-in with the big-wigs in the industry. He wasn't lying.
