If you think I forgot a band that will probably appear on this top, please let me know in a comment and in a future update I will try to add it.
As a measure of popularity, the Google trends values of the band were used.
Unfortunately, the data that Google's search engine offers is not the number of searches of the specific term, but a graph from 0 to 100 where 100 represents the maximum search point of that term in the specified time, for this reason the values in the video are represented as percentages, since they are a percentage with respect to an arbitrarily selected reference point of 100.

Bts without white previlage, being discriminated many times, with hateful comments about their appearance and came from a poor company. They got to the top with hard work, perseverance and not being part of the big3 in South Korea, thats amazing 🔥
They went to LA around 2014, and they gave free tickets for their concerts in the streets. Their messages in their songs, their versatility in the discography, their albums that are based on books, their humbleness and much love that they have with their fans, their sincerity, and more made BTS not your typical boy band. They are real artists who get involved in producing and writing their own songs. The 3 rappers have their own free mixtapes, made by themselves. They create art and their discography is very versatile.
Also each member of BTS always released free songs that are made by them even though they aren’t oficial soloist. They aren’t you typical boyband.

I became a BTS fan in 2015-2016 period, so it’s really interesting to compare my experience of BTS’s rise with fame with this data. I think that what the majority of people don’t realise is that BTS didn’t become a sensation over night, the fans really pushed for BTS’s success for many years. I still remember telling my brother that one day BTS will take over the world, and he didn’t believe me. After so much work from BTS and Army, Im very proud to say that WE MADE IT!

I feel the same! Even when I knew them in 2017, I feel confused seeing this, I thought in that time they were the most famous band, but that was just the begining... obviously a lot of people didn't know about them yet but I feel I knew them exactly in that year they were becoming famous but in another level.
I agree. I also found them because of my friends in the beginning of 2016 and watching them getting famous was amazing. It is till amazing and I feel so happy that they reached that dream😭💜 I even remember how I told my friend that one day they will be big and here we got the whole proof.

The fact that I've literally listened to all of this bands lmao. From Metallica to evanescence to Linkin park to beatles to ABBA to Paramore to Coldplay to EXO to Girls Generation to BTS. (Each of them are a different style). All of these bands are incredibly talented. My favorite of all time is Evanescence, but of the past few years, BTS is my new favorite!

Many people overlooked BTS' music and lyrics just because it's Korean. They don't know that the band have so much relatable and inspirational songs, especially for the youth in this generation. If they would just learn to stop being racist and start considering BTS' influence and their works, they would know how much of an eye-opener and a life saver BTS is.

I'm proud of BTS who started from a small company and has touched millions of hearts with their songs. I also grew up listening to western songs which I can't remember 99.9% anymore, they just come and go. I'm an ARMY since 2014 and their songs will forever be etched in my soul. The lyrics are very meaningful ❤

BTS literally went to the top around the time in October 2016 when the "Wings" album was released. And all the more sky-rocketed mid-2017 as they were invited to the BillBoard Music Awards and won Top Social Artist for the first time as the former holder of that award was Justin Beiber. Really cool to see how much theyve exploded. Ngl I was really happy to see Blackpink follow too, and as well as Shinee, GOT7, EXO, Super Junior, TWICE, and especially Girl's Generation to appear. Really props to them 👏👏👏
