I agree smell is a big factor, one of my favorite pens smelt fine right until the end of its life where it let out a horrible stench I cannot describe. The final cry from a dying pen.
except since he gave it to the dude that funded the pens, he's not offering prints of it :') or at least it hasn't been posted yet. he usually puts them up same day.
I love this. People are always obsessed with what your art supplies are, or even sometimes what camera you're using. I love that this shows the simplicity of not needing to spend much money at all to create great art. It's about the creativity of the artist, not how much money he/she spent on their art supplies.
Peter I saw Bob Ross on you shirt and it started to make me cry. I really miss him and his show. I watch your show you are awesome also. Someone's comment said you were his son. That is an honor you deserve.
UnPhayzable you have to admit tho, most youtubers would have used the coins as a prop, then used a card to actually pay, because theyre too embarrassed to pay in change. but peter i know paid with those coins. didnt care. whenever possible, be a peter...be a peter.
Peter, I’ve been watching your videos for some time now. Sometimes I use your words as my own, and eat vegetables while I watch you draw lines. Thank you. I enjoy nearly everything you put out there. So much value for a one man channel. You do the work of ten men. Keep it up.
Peter, thanks for doing what you do,I love your draws, and they give motivation to draw. I really admire the way you see the word and the art. I hope I can have a conversation with you someday, thanks for everything.
4 years later and these are still my favourite videos you've made, Peter. They always raise a wry smile. The humble biro reigns supreme! I would love to see you revisit them with more experiments.
OMGoodness! ! This is my absolute favourite drawing of yours so far Peter. I would love this printed on .. T-shirt, visual journal, backpack, mug, sneakers, towel... you get the idea. Please notify me when these are available.. thank you.. thank you 😆👍👍👍 goodbye.. bye now.. bye.
Peter I write you this to inform you that the wrights to "first line" that comes out of the pens you bought was already stolen away from you by the factory that makes the pens. If you look up "How It's Made Retractable Ballpoint Pens" on youtube you can easily see that when the pens are manufactured they all undergo testing to make sure that they can write. I'm not sure if non-retractable pens undergo the same rigorous testing but I assume they do. Me? I'm on your side. What right does the factory have to deflower these pens? An outrage none the less. I hope this helps. I love you. Goodbye.
I have retractable pens, and before I can use them, I have to remove the little plastic coating over the tip. I imagine it's there to prevent ink from leaking out or something.
Aaah Peter, you cheer me up on a dull day! Great drawing. Very mystical. I really must start sniffing my art supplies- I think I have been missing out on this for years without realising. Maybe it is art-enhancing. X
I LOVE the fact that this vaguely resembles an animal of some sort... I think it would be cool if you did more of this kind of thing! It gives a tiny bit of structure to your drawing without messing with your style I think
I believe this is my new favorite drawing/image/creation of yours. I love how you made it look like it's levitating at the end. Amazing. And it's with a simple bic pen:)
there's an episode of How It's Made about ball point pens. Those pens are subjected to drawing continuous loops as a way to test if the ink somehow stops flowing momentarily, or little blotches form on the paper or the tip of the pen.
porochu My theory is that one rich man spent all of his cash on these pens, and distributed and left them across the entire world with an elite team of pen-ianity believers, and people continue to find these pens, lose them, and pass them on to the next generation.
My kilometricos are lookin at me funny while I watch this ...love working with ball point its amazing how much you can get out of them ...the final pic would make a great tat Peter !
I know this is an older video. Bic pens hard to beat for the price. I have found a contender. Walmart's Pen + Gear brand sells a box of 36, clear barrelled, triangular shaped black ballpoint pens for $4.24 as of 10/23. The ink is a shade darker than Bic's black ink. The cap snaps on and off the barrel at both ends. These are my new favorites.
this will be the best advancement in art. this is the future, and it is led by PETER! every aspiring artist must have at least 36 bic pens or they cannot be considered a REAL *artist*.
Bloody hell, that's one of the most majestic arty arts I've seen in my entire life. Which is twenty-something years, so I suppose it doesn't really matter. I don't even know what to do with myself. I'm going to have to lay down on a bathroom floor for at least 2 1/2 hours and contemplate life. And moose. All moose ought to look like that.
Aldenator i understand some people find him calming or someting like that but the way he talks and how slowly he does everything just bores me and frustrates me a bit
That seems more like a moose to me than a horse. Also, I see a part between its front left leg and the wings that looks like a little dragon friend and I like that.
Those are my favourite pens, I use them often with mixed media... they work well on top of coloured pencil (which is rare).... and they don't usually make messy splotches. which is awesome.... They also make nice smudge action if you dampen you finger and go over lines you drew. =) Anyway.... They are ONE of my favourite art supplies. =) I LOVE your drawing, that is an amazing pegasus/unicorn. absolutely LOVE this. =)
I love the texture and gradation on this drawing, which I think is better than your more recent drawing with a $1500 fountain pen. 25¢ BiC ballpoint pen wins!
I know what you mean about ball point ink smell... and it does. I've always had trouble with ink pens smearing. Have you ever had blobs come out and mess your work?
"...the project isn't complete, but it is like, 6000% funded." -Peter Draws 2017
This is how GoFundMe is supposed to be used. Such majesty. Such beauty.

Peter this is probably my favorite drawing of yours
Claire McDade ...Mine too !!!!
Claire McDade yeah, it was super sweet.
Claire McDade can always buy a print, support an artist you enjoy. :)
except since he gave it to the dude that funded the pens, he's not offering prints of it :') or at least it hasn't been posted yet. he usually puts them up same day.
Claire McDade Yes mine too. It's amazing 😍
and here it is, my favorite youtube video.
I am amazed by this drawing. it is amazing and when I think that he is using only a simple bic pen it makes it even more amazing . he has real talent.
I love this. People are always obsessed with what your art supplies are, or even sometimes what camera you're using. People in that Office Depot must've thought you were a crackhead when you were holding that box of pens
UnPhayzable you have to admit tho, most youtubers would have used the coins as a prop, then used a card to actually pay, because theyre too embarrassed to pay in change. but peter i know paid with those coins. didnt care. whenever possible, be a peter...be a peter.
I bet the office depot store already is familiar with Peter Draws. ;)

Ah, I see. My mistake
This is a kickstarter project that stayed true to itself from beginning to end. Good job Peter, proud of you and your capabilities with 36 Bic pens
OMGoodness! ! This is my absolute favourite drawing of yours so far Peter. I would love this printed on .. T-shirt, visual journal, backpack, mug, sneakers, towel... you get the idea. Please notify me when these are available.. thank you.. thank you 😆👍👍👍 goodbye.. bye now.. bye.

i simply can not wait for this series
i just love bic pens
please start this series.
love your stuff.
keep being awesome.
in an art class I had to do one drawing where I used the whole pen up, it took awhile.
I LOVE the fact that this vaguely resembles an animal of some sort... I think it would be cool if you did more of this kind of thing! It gives a tiny bit of structure to your drawing without messing with your style I think
honestly you are the greatest thing that has ever happened to youtube
I LOVE this drawing! It is BY FAR my favorite piece you have ever done!
1:19 is exactly me every time I get to go to an office depot store or a craft store...or a book store. Books do that too
Ooohhh new unboxing!!!! New peter video!!!!
Peter with a bob ross Tshirt now i have seen everything ! :D
I believe this is my new favorite drawing/image/creation of yours. I love how you made it look like it's levitating at the end. Amazing. And it's with a simple bic pen:)
the rain in the audio background is so calming
there's an episode of How It's Made about ball point pens.

this one reminds me of the art in the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books
I love the smell of ballpoint pen ink. That oily sweet tangy smell.
It's a Pegacorn!!!! 😍😱🦄 this is my favorite drawing! I love unicorns!! 💖🙌🏼
reneevilla86 sort of looks like a bucking broncicorn
peter is such a happy weirdo and i love him. just seeing him walk through that office depot smiling like an idiot was enough to make my day
the real question is... are there worms growing out of the ink after 48 hours, in an experiment all posibilities must be covered thoroughly
bro I love your video's!! You're the reason I started drawing again.
I like your attitude to everything. Nice guy.
Peter you bring me so much joy. Thanks for being you. 😝
I LOVE the way this drawing came out, Peter!
I love that drawing, it looks incredible. Well done Peter!
I LOVE THIS VIDEO IDEA PLS LET THIS BE AN ONGOING SERIES. Maybe the next could be dollar store markers...
Far too expensive for my taste. It is just appalling how much a person will spend on supplies.
Treyton Ketola
lets be honest
no one buys them
they just randomly show up in our houses or pockets
porochu My theory is that one rich man spent all of his cash on these pens, and distributed and left them across the entire world with an elite team of pen-ianity believers, and people continue to find these pens, lose them, and pass them on to the next generation.
off to the penalty box with you.
That man's name was Veet Voojagig !
Now, with your smell test, are you factoring in drag velocity? I think that should remain constant across each test.
This man can make anything interesting and worth watching!
Oh my goodness! It's been started! I can't wait for the results to come in!
he looks so exited 😂
Yes he was just leaving
This picture is amazing. Another great video Peter.
Peter you are so wonderful and incredible. Thank you so much for everything.
This is my favourite piece of you so far.
You should experiment with the ink. Try removing an ink cartridge and pour out the ink, then take a dip pen of some sort draw with it.
Love this picture. Your work is just mind-blowing Peter. watching your videos keeps me sane while studying for my exams. ❤❤ never stop drawing!! ❤❤
You're vids are the best because you let a little bit of yourself out in each and it's nice to get to know you.
I was hoping for a writing sample of each of the 36 pens.
This video is what the world was missing...
Thank you sir Draws,
thank you.
My kilometricos are lookin at me funny while I watch this ...love working with ball point its amazing how much you can get out of them ...the final pic would make a great tat Peter !
WHOA!!! THAT IS AWESOME!! Flying Horse with wings yet, all by scribbles.
Well done. I have a box of 24, but blue. Got them for an amazing price. It wasn't a big box store by any means. Love the video.
you got me motivated in drawing with pic pens thanks for posting
That's a bic pen! I'm stunned with the beauty of this! I can hardly write my name with a pen with out it freaking out
awesome drawing. have a nice day and remember to keep it REIMAGINED.
This is why this channel is the absolute best

Law Gfx bob ross is kinda overrated tbh

Aldenator i understand some people find him calming or someting like that but the way he talks and how slowly he does everything just bores me and frustrates me a bit
mushroom boi i see how that could be annoying, sorry, i didnt mean to be rude or anything lol
Aldenator no, don't worry u didn't come off as rude or anything

SAME
I like the rain in the background.
So glad he counted them out. He could've just been doing this kickstarter shit to scam us, and not actually followed through on buying all 36 pens.
What a majestic horse.
loving the video❤
I wonder how the pen would hold up using Strathmore 500 Series Charcoal Paper
Thanks for the background rain
Every video is a masterpiece.
What an amazing drawing!
That seems more like a moose to me than a horse. Also, I see a part between its front left leg and the wings that looks like a little dragon friend and I like that.
Peter...
Hello.
Space Chimpanzee...
🤔
Peter Draws shit my comment section went blank for a minute xD
Why Peter? Now I feel like I'm scrolling nowhere
Peter Draws, Well that was unexpected.
lol
beginning of video= angry erk
.0000000001 second into video= happy erk
you inspired me to try watercolor. . . it didn't look good but i had fun 👍
Getting so immersed in your video that my cookie completely dissolved into the milk. (whispers) I love you Peter.
Geeze that would make a great album cover

I love the texture and gradation on this drawing, which I think is better than your more recent drawing with a $1500 fountain pen. 25¢ BiC ballpoint pen wins!
That drawing would be a really nice tshirt design
I remember even back when i took notes with those pens i could smell the ink, didnt really bother me but it was definetly there
I know what you mean about ball point ink smell... and it does. I've always had trouble with ink pens smearing. Have you ever had blobs come out and mess your work?
do you plan on doing any smell tests on spray paint?
employee turns corner and sees dude talking to himself and smelling pens
Try bic pen on Lenox paper. It is a dream to draw on. Blick has it, Legion Lenox paper.
Your mystic pegasus thing turned out to be amazing. Carry on!
Love this picture - it reminds me of an abstract prancing horse.
Wow for a bic pen on printer paper that turned out incredible
I love watching the cute(or someathing) peter face at 1:21
i look forward to the next kickstarter, Peter
