- The Government has begun a voluntary relocation scheme, with the first person having been relocated.
Sources have confirmed that deporting people who arrive illegally is not part of Rwanda's main plan.
The first man to move voluntarily to Rwanda was given up to £3,000 in financial aid and was sent to the central African country on a commercial flight.

Giving illegal migrants £3000.00 to go to Rwanda is ludicrous. These people have come into this country illegally and are now being rewarded to leave. On what planet does this make sense. This will simply act as an incentive for more people to come here illegally - why not?
Benefits in this country should be for British born only or people have have lived here for at least 5-10 years at least that why they have contributed to the country. Why does someone who’s traveled half way across the world have a right to be able to claim what us born here have put in to our system. We owe these people nothing!

The legislation has been in place between both since brexit 2020.Tge legislation is just paperwork over the Highcourt ruling that claimed UK not a safe country...the 6k odd that in Ireland from UK will not all be returned will take years for both countries to cross reference each claim BUT those people can cross back to UK themselves anytime they want and usually do to sign on so have 2 claims on the go..its been happening for years ,only hearing now as ye have elections..

I've known so many seriously disabled people in the UK left with little or NO money to live on.We've got together food and money to help keep them going. Some didn't make it and killed themselves or died prematurely due to the extra stress. The stories are endless. Compared to how much it cost to the average tax payer to house asylum seekers in hotels, feed them, give them free healthcare and give them money (£49.18 each week). Three grand is an absolute bargain!! We need to be paying far more people 3k for them to leave.
