What about the crowd doing the victory song after the game. That was unreal. The words were up on the big screen everyone was singing, awesome vibes out of the Warriors.
The warriors have mastered the “block play and tip on “ deadset 4 tries a game are coming from running perfect lines and ball players willing to dig deep into the defensive line only passing when the tacklers are committed. Every team runs this play and has so now for 15 years but no one has done it as exquisitely as the warriors
You could see it before Webby came along, they do a block play, or a cut back in, 2-3 meters from the advantage line the oppersition could see it & set for it.. But yep I agree they are running perfect lines with SJ playing his best footy.
even this far into S..J. career, he's still demanding attention from 2even 3defenders, its fantastic for our wingers.
I totally agree with you it's structured play wev been waiting for this style but they want they do it is with perfect execution at times reminds me of the broncos years ago Lockyer days it's basics been mastered from a team that's never been consistant with that style
The Warriors right edge also has an attacking shape that I haven't seen used in many other teams. Their winger Dallin stands almost right behind the play the ball, the entire right edge is stacked like a vertical column and then it fans out as the play progresses so that Dallin's running track is more like a semi-circle. This allows him to be running at top speed when he receives the ball as he has winded up completely. It also keeps the defensive team underestimating the depth of the Warriors attack formation as it only truly shapes up once its spread out to the CTR and WNG. Quite beautiful to watch in real time if you manage to get to a game.
@@jdkapperino8541 the Warriors are gun-ish. It’s almost criminal that their reward for finishing in the top 4 is a 1st week date with either Penrith or Brisbane .
They had a 5 day turn around against a team coming off a bye. A team that had 5 representatives in their forward pack. Fact they had to win this game under those circumstances, also have a team score 10points in the last 90secs to go golden point will only make them stronger.
+ A lot of them were very sick with the flu which is very widespread in Auckland now. Myself been ill for 3 weeks with it.

The main thing is there execution the team are all playing there positions to the best they can and everyone is on the same professional level there fitness is good they deserve to be where they are

Worth the 'sub' just hearing the comments, true summary of the 2023 Warriors and we the fans can only hope it goes well from here.
With so many of the warriors being very family oriented being away for over 2 years would have been the hardest thing they have and probably ever will face those tuff times for them will create resilience within themselves and it's showing winning a grand final will be easy compared to 2 years on the road

I don't know if you notice it but they have Plays and plans to suit the oppersition play, Webby has kept them grounded and that every game will be a test to get better and better, their not accomplished as a perfect team Yet and they know that, So dropping or losing against a weaker team would Waste the whole season of hard grafted work.. This is not the same Team We saw the last couple of years.

i live in Perth WA, have always been a Warriors supporter, not always easy, but entertaining. I cant afford pay TV, my beef is why if there is any other team playing, channel 9 will show that game, i have only watched the warriors live once this year well top 4 now, might finally get to watch !

Is it just a coincidence that since the Warriors sponsor accused the NRL of bias that they have gone better? Warriors are playing good footy. Webster is showing himself to be a good coach. Shaun Johnson is in great form and finally the Warriors are at home All factors but the icing on the cake is getting a more than a fair share (50%) of calls. In this age of salary cap (excluding Roosters) and parity, the NRL officlals CAN and many times DO decide games as much as the players

@@sesetio338 I mean the Warriors have not gotten calls in past seasons and not won many games. This season the officials are giving them a fair go and look at what they can do - top 3. I mean no team in the NRL can win a premiership without getting more than their share of calls - even Penrith.
The warriors are playing professional league with structure how the aussies know and see how theyve evolved that is why they are praising them its pure nrl style done with great execution

Look everyone in Australia is hoping the Broncos beat the Warriors in Brisbane in the semi final , but in all honesty New Zealand has the better team on paper. The warriors have to control the ball possession, finish their sets correctly. The biggest issue is the crowd , i would think , but the boys are hungry for the big dance . I dont believe this team has played its best game of the season yet . The Brisbane Broncos arent as settled as you may think , Payne Hass isn't happy at the Broncos , im sure of this. New Zealand can beat Brisbane as long as they start strong , play their brand of football , shut down Cobo , cut Reese Walsh off , before he gets a chance to burn you with his pace , isolate him from hs fella team mates , crowd him , tackle him out of the game . Shut down their weapons , like STAGGS' FANSWORTH ' CARRIGAN by making them do to much defence to be highly effective in offence. Walters is bringing back big bodies , experience with big Marty and Corey out wide , Marty has that late off load , the warriors need to be in his face from the kick off , he has the issue of looking up sometimes before the ball comes to him , i would be looking to force him to fumble. As for big Corey you really have to crowd him , give him no room all afternoon , watch for the high corner kicks . The New Zealand Warriors have this in the bag , but not forget the most important thing, Shaun Johnson said when he left the Sharks , he was home sick , just wanted to be at home with his family and friends!. He stated at the end of that interview " I want to lead this New Zealand warriors team to a grand final " I believe that time is now.. This team is as good as any in the game of Rugby league and every member of this team should be super proud of their efforts on and off the field this year ' well done . This club is strong enough to win this competition, alot of that success is afford to Andrew Webster head coach , he knows his football , he knows his players , how to get them firing on all cylinders, what a game this is going to be. I have the Warriors winnning well with a huge upset in Brisbane , as i said New Zealand havent played their best game of the season yet ' its coming...🏉🏉🏉

Warriors is Top 4 worthy but lets not pretend they’re at the Top of that 4. Haven’t beaten any of those top 4-5 teams and haven’t come close too. They lose to a Latrell-less Bunnies at Home, a Broncos team with No Origin players and lose to the Storm 3 times this year albeit 1 Preseason game and obviously they lose to the Panthers. Pump the brakes.
