What does clickbait mean?
@@arpenate3878 Making the thumbnail something so insane that a viewer is baited to click on the video, in this case, putting Michael Penix Jr as "Best?" is something so absurdly and obviously not true, that people click on the video thinking "That pick was NOT the best!?!"

I have a feeling that my Cardinals took the player they wanted. Darius Robinson is the type player they like draft in past. So their next strategy was do what you mentioned.
Trent Brown is on a 1 year deal. There is no guarantee that he stays after 2024. It made sense for the Bengals to draft Mims.
I agree. The Mims pick does make a lot of sense to me considering they need to keep Burrow healthy for as long as possible.

@@Worthyishimfautanu is probably not going to be a tackle, which means they probably lost value at the pick. He’s smaller, has a lower ceiling, and is 24. Mims is 21, is going to be a tackle, and although has a lower floor than Fautana, he has more potential, so for right now Mims >.

Kirk is 36, coming off of possibly the worst injury in all of sports and the hardest to come back from. What if Kirk to Atlanta becomes Russ to Denver. Kirk right now is a massive question mark
The problem is if that was the argument, they should've picked someone else. Penix has a far worse injury history and has never finished a season. The Atlanta qb room bow has three acl injuries, and two of them are Penixs.
Kirk turned 35 a few weeks ago.
Mimms is not a bad pick. Trent Brown likely won't stay healthy for the full season, is on a one year deal and the Bengals don't have any depth at tackle. Mimms has a very high celling and Fautanu may not even play tackle in the NFL.
They have no idea what they are talking about with the Bengals. WR was adressed nicely with Burton, Defensive End isn't a real need when Hendrickson is still on contract for two more years, no matter how much he requests a trade. Mimms has a great celing, can learn from both Browns and help out if Trent Brown misses time. CB is no real need, protecting Burrow is way more important then adding another potential WR1 whe you currently have Chase, Higgins, Burton and Gesicky/All as targets
So true even though Mims has not played too much, he has experience with playing tough teams, which people like troy Fautanu don’t.

The worst part about the Penix pick is that by the time he starts the rookie contract is going to be near expiring when that's your best chance of taking advantage of a rookie quarterback

Maybe because he's probably going to have a short career because of his awful medicals. A lot of teams downgrade guys because of that even though his tape is good. He's a good player though but i do understand why.
In my opinion the best value pic was Dallas Turner. He’s the best defensive player in the draft, and he fell all the way to 17.
Turner to Minnesota at 17 when he was the consensus number 1 defensive guy and number 8 on the consensus board is insanely good value
Honorable Mention: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, even though Brock Bowers was on the Jets radar, but in terms of Quarterback protection they made the right decision
PS: Malachi Coreley might be a steal and the Jets would've kept a lot of picks and would've selected Jaden Hicks, Roman Wilson and make either Michael Pratt or Taulia Tagovailoa Mr Irrelevant and voila let's wreak havoc for a long time

While not the GM the Falcons front office includes Ryan Pace who we in Chicago are glad is gone. Leave it to the guy who traded up to not draft Mahomes in 2017 and put both Trubisky and Fields in situations to fail as rookies to put his stamp on another head scratching move 🤣

I'm still confused about the Falcons pick and I'm not a Falcons fan I can only imagine how Falcons fans feel.
I feel great we’re not used to having qb problems(except the last two years) we aren’t going through that again
I think some Falcons fans aren’t really mad at the pick as there is a backup in case that Kirk Cousins goes down.

In a league where 10 to 15 quarterbacks get season ending injuries every year he could be awesome trade bait for Atlanta during the season. Considering kirk cousins age in football years he could easily be one the quarterbacks injured.

yeah some of these just don’t make any sense. especially the Mims take. Trent Brown is 31 and is only on a 1 year deal. plus Fautanu just didn’t ring any bells for the Bengals. Mims said he’s more than willing to play anywhere on the line, so the chances of him getting starts this season are high, whether it’s at T or G
31 isn't even old for a OT.

To be honest I was surprised that the ravens took Nate Wiggins while cooper dejean and aidoni Michell were still on the board Baltimore could have used a first rounder on a wide receiver and yes I do know they were did eventually pick a wide receiver but that was in round 2

Latham isn’t really a bad pick by any means. The Titans needed help in the offensive line, and the other prospects didn’t really catch their eyes like Latham did. Heck, even Bill Callahan seemed to be impressed with him.

@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl I don't think age is much of a factor either but his injury history is a huge one. Between all of his red flags I think Penix was over drafted. I'm a Raider fan and I don't think they would have taken him at 13 because of his medicals and i'm glad we didn't have to make that decision. I do like him as a player but the less red flags on a QB the better.

@@ChristopherBingham-xx8xl The Raiders may have lucked out and got a QB in the 4th round because I like AOC and I think he has a shot. Minshew is there to back up AOC or start if he doesn't make it. I'm pretty sure Minshew is going to be stuck on the bench again the guy can't get a break and he deserves one. He's going to like being a Raider though.

It doesn't matter at all how good your corners are if you can't get to the QB well enough. Teams with great secondaries get lit up all the time in the NFL besides aren't they trying to trade Lattimore?

@@12dbortle As a Raider fan iv'e been trying to follow the Saints a bit for obvious reasons but i'm no expert on their roster. I did watch a number of their games last year though and i don't remember being very impressed by their ability to get to the QB.
@@jameshannagan4256 Granderson had a career year and is improving. Demario Davis is still a hell of a player. We were ranked 13th last year for the pass rush. I’d say our run defense was a lot worse.
Adonai Mitchell had the worst YPRR in the draft class. If he wasn’t the main target he took the play off.
Pearsall had top 3 YPRR, catches everything and is an elite route runner. He also had mediocre at best QB play at Florida.

I think Fashanu to the Jets is a great value pick. 2nd best OT behind Joe Alt to help protect Aaron Rodgers is a good value pick IMO

Rome Odunze to Bears was the absolute BEST without question cause Bears fans are still feel ecstatic of the fact you got a franchise QB in Caleb Williams a 1st Round 1st overall pick University of Southern California a Heisman Trophy Winner but you did get Odunze as well 1st Round 9th overall University of Washington the future looks incredibly bright for the organization no doubt but it's Super Bowl or Nothing for the 2024 season 1:46

I strongly disagree with Mims being the worst pick in the 1st Round of the NFL Draft. I mean seriously, we needed a backup plan because the guy we wanted got taken by the Raiders
There was no chance in hell Bowers was falling to 18 it was a miracle he lasted to 13 I know the Colts would have drafted him but most likely someone would have traded up to get him even before the Colts could draft him.

Cooper DeJean to the Eagles was BEST cause him and 1st Round pick Quinyon Mitchell will be a perfect CB Duos in Philly but hopefully if they win a Super Bowl Championship believe it they will have a hall of fame career coming as long as they stay as healthy and not suffer injuries they will be all well and good 5:22

Hi Mr TPS your so baffled by the Pennix Jr pick but it's real simple why Atlanta made the pick Cousins just came off of season ending injury and Father Time is catching up with him as well he's entering year 36 he's not Tom Brady he's a Tanehill level QB and most likely has 2 years most before he falls off the cliff and what if he gets injured again this season the Atlanta Brass after meeting with Pennix Jr feel he's their future and wanted their QB in tow and not be in shambles like the Jets were 3 players into their season with Rodgers and even if Cousins is successful what's wrong with Pennix Jr learning behind him plus each season for one reason or another the backup has to play the gamble is Pennix is ready when the call comes and their season gets rescued

The Bengals did not have a ‘need’ at edge rusher. Do you think just because a player says they want to be traded that he will be?? Lol😂 that’s pretty funny. Trey Hendrickson will be a Bengal at least 2 more year if not more. Tee Higgins will play on the franchise tag this year and will be gone in 2025 most likely. We got a 1st round WR talent in round 3 we have Trento Irwin a solid consistent option and we have the 2 WRs we drafted last year Jones and Iosivas. Jones is the punt returner as Iosivas had 4 td catches his rookie year last year and these guys are all hungry. So yes we need a WR and we got one in round 3. Burton should have went in round 1. He is the 4th or 5th best WR in this class.

I'm a Lions fan, but I really want to see dejean shine, I didn't know that white guys didn't play corner (my word selection recommended corner and this is the first time I have used white and corner in the same sentence in any context) as long as they are not playing the lions I will root for Mitchell (I'm from Ohio) and dejean because he is white,( seriously who doesn't root for a unicorn ). Please don't come with the racist jokes I'm black, like my mom and dad are black. I'm just saying.
And for context I like Daniel Tosh's slavery was neat joke and how he explained that he wouldn't do it certain places because someone might take it literally.
