    i found a very inexpensive light board on eBay and it works quite well (though it is only 8x10, I do mostly smaller work). I did purchase it a few years ago before crazy supply chain and inflation made prices insane - but it's worth a look

    After watching this tutorial a few times I dared to start my own experiment but I don’t like the monstera (al plants are dying here😢) so I tried a koi fish. So lots of thanks to you to help me to take a risk in this; it turned out nice. I will try it more often now, thank you ❤️

    Do you put some sort of sealant on this when you're done to keep everything from falling off? I really love what you did here! I want to give it a try.

    • @Abyssimo
      @Abyssimo 3 роки тому

      Dear Debby, I'm sorry for late response. I seal sometime this type of work with varnish or fixative, or I just leave it as is. Nothing ever falls off without sealing it.

      Thank you Tali! Yes, absolutely, you could use Elmer's glue, or any all purpose glue.

    Why doesn't your sheet of gold leaf fall apart? Where do you find it with the backing. It looks so much easier.

    • @Abyssimo
      @Abyssimo 4 роки тому +1

      Debby, I guess you are asking me about Mirror effect Gold Sheet. It works differently than regular gold flakes. It is easier and it's less messy. Here is another video where I use this type of gold leaf: ua-cam.com/video/iuuffbUgHJs/v-deo.html
