Been gr8 so far even updated software waiting for OBD option waterproof & love that I can see tyre pressures clearly much better than my Ducati TPMS
Ive got one on my 2011 RT. Brilliant bit of kit. Love riding with the rear camera on using it as a mirror. Massively improves situational awareness for whats directly behind me
Same here I have got trendy mirrors which r not as good as oem so rear cameras r gr8
Its a superb bit of kit and this shows that it's not all bling and does a important job. waiting for my pressure monitors to be delivered for my 2006 GS
The TPMS and Remote for my Chigee arrived today. A few minutes to fit then off for a ride. My first one, that is, since fitting the AIO-5 Lite. It's a bright sunny Aussie day today and the screen is really clear and easy to read. Heaps better than the Garmin Zumo XT that it will replace, I think.
I haven't tested the TPMS yet, but will do by unscrewing the units to simulate loss of tyre air pressure.
Awesome bit of kit! Chigee you just saved our Tobes for the next vid/tour/ride, thank you 🫡
Thanks for sharing this fellas, hope to see you soon. My bike's are still all sorn'ed atm but hoping to have the DL in full off road spec in May/June so see you then hopefully. In the meantime I'm up in Pays de Galle [Sweet Lamb] for two days on an 890r next month! Heehee can't wait! Ride safe both xx
Great to hear that you’ll be back soon. Enjoy and ride safe buddy :)
Hey Up Duchess, glad you are still alive! I did hear that you were living in a cave up Carn Brea surviving on nothing else other than your own body fleas…. See you soon.
@markholroyd5365 that was just a month long spiritual retreat and I'm back in the shed now with a couple of sheep to keep me warm and a vibrating toaster to cook my minestrone's on. Also I don't know how you heard about it actually?!!! There were only a druid, a viking, and a county councillor there, and we ate the county councillor on day 24 as the fleas were getting very scarce by then! Is there anyone in Kernow you don't know boss? Or does that Chigee enable you to fly a high altitude surveillance drone too? 🤔
Just remember, if you put TPMS valve caps on . Do not run with normal rubber stems, they are not made for that xtra weight.
Change to metal stems.
(I tryed a cracked rubber stem on front wheel (1 year old rubber stem) driving 130 kmh)
Thanks for the tip buddy
Also be careful of perpendicular valve stems as there may not be enough clearance for the TPMS and the front brake calipers. As is the case with my Ducati MS 1260
Wow, a system that really works, that's awesome. Is your Razor broken?
Yep. Snapped the other day 🤣
Maybe you could show us the rear video captured by the Chigee as the tyre was punctured?
We had it recorded but all you see is a tiny thing flick out without really seeing it as it was that quick
The Cheegi seems bit pricey tho guys ! 🤷🏼♂️
Depends on your perspective really. It has lots of features and when you add all the separate items you might want including a sat nav it’s not that expensive at all
I really need to stop watching your channel chaps. First it was the INNOVV 3rd eye, now I've just ordered the Chigee tyre pressure monitor! TBH I wished I'd added the TPMS to the factory order of my 1250RS SE but I don't like adding too many extras as they give you nothing for them on trade in. At just over £100 the Chigee is certainly good value compared to over double that for the BMW one. I've not had a puncture on my bike since the 1980's but like the INNOVV 3rd eye these things only have to work once to justify the purchase and are probably worth it for the peace of mind alone.
Could you of not repaired the punture???
Unfortunately not as the tyres were due to be replaced anyway and the puncture was about an inch long and went through the brading inside the tyre too
I got mine at early bird price but agree it’s now too pricy for me chigee look at your, pricing as your product is good but others will take up your place I got Greenyi similar without BSD at £180 quality finish not as good (90%) of chigee but I could adapt back plate to take a ram bolt on Greenyi
Good point although the chigee quality is much better as you say. And of course the support from the company. Doubt that will be the case with others although could be wrong
Although I agree about support from CHIGEE atm this is there but not confirmed for how long I still think the price it is will be selling for at over £500 will make it niche which is utter shame as I ride with it for 3 hrs today after getting my tyre valve moved to accomodate the TPMS it’s brill esp rear camera screen is great TPMS much better then my Ducati TPMS buy while it’s a bit cheaper
Your bike had this feature. I had similar red alert on my GS. Why didn't your RT alert you?
It did alert me as soon as it happened as we said in the vid :)
@@RiderCamTV I'm confused, you're reviewing the chigee thing which has has tyre pressure monitors, your RT has that feature on the Tft, I wasn't sure whether you were talking about the alert you got from chigwee or your tft. Looks great though, would you take this device over the Garmin xt zumo? I'm thinking of getting a stand alone unit, this chigee thing may be a contende
The RT that it is fitted to does not have the true pressure monitors. That’s why I fitted the chigee ones
The Garmin XT is awesome but so is the Chigee. The Chigee offer way more and you can use all your apps from your phone (CarPlay compatible ones). So it’s much more versatile
@@RiderCamTV I'm surprised by that. Your RT looks like the Starship Enterprise😊 If I by the Garmin or the chigee and have the cardo bold connected to my pillion rider, could I hear voice instruction form the sat nav as well as my pillion? She does have a non cardo though so have to use Cardo getway Bluetooth. I guess you're going to tell me this is what the problem is. Annoying as f**** when trying to follow Calimoto with no voice direction
