I made this bag! I love it, and my 23 year old daughters love it too! In fact everyone loves it ass soon as they see it. It made up lovely, but doesn’t denim always make up lovely.
I put a different front onto it, as I didn’t have enough patch style cloth at the moment. I used an idea from another one of your bags, GREAT! Everyone wants to know where it came from, and when my daughter tells people I made it, they are always astonished!

Very pretty little pouch! Neat trick about using a glue stick and an iron to hold the pieces before sewing them on. I haven't seen that before! I'll have to try that sometime.

Don Kim, your patchwork applique looks a lot like a stained glass window. This is a wonderful idea for making beautiful cushions, jackets, and quilts. I love the stained glass look. This is a nice size pouch or make-up bag. it would make a wonderful gift or fund raiser. Thank you for this video. Please stay safe.
Glue sticks are wonderful. I have glued my applique pieces before sewing. It has saved me from getting cut by pins (and from getting blood on my work). I use washable school glue that will wash out. Small dots of washable school glue also works to hold layers of cloth and batting together before quilting.
